In the bag: Most of my packet is the finely chopped red-brown needles of honeybush. One full-sized blueberry. A few pieces of apple and rose hips.
On the nose (pre-steep): Notes of blueberry and vanilla. Slightly woody aroma of honeybush which I think is supposed to represent pancake. Sugar is present but restrained. Maple only arrives as a lingering flavor in my nose.
On the nose (post-steep): Much of those tasty blueberry and vanilla flavors have washed away with the steep, sadly. They remain as mere hints. Honeybush is now the main ingredient in this pancake stack.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Mainly the same flavors as the last step. This is honeybush-forward with hints of blueberry and maple.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener has drizzled a little more maple flavor onto the stack. Other than that, no change.
Opinion: A tasty tea that lives up to its namesake. Especially with sweetener, if I close my eyes I can pretend I'm eating a decadent stack with a light syrup treatment.
Preparation: First steep 7 min, second steep 14 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

Wow, it actually tastes like blueberry pancakes. A spoonful of sugar helps bring out the pancake flavor, although I would imagine substituting maple syrup for the sugar would elevate the breakfast flavor.

On opening the packet, the sweet aroma of maple held a lot of promise. Brewed at 212°F for 6 minutes with 2 1/2 cups of water. Remarkably true to the name. Just a hint of blueberry, bold maple, and delightful fluffy pancakes in liquid form. Adding 1/2 teaspoon of Stevia and a touch of cream made this a Keto dream-come-true.

Got this one last year in the advent calendar. I was excited to try it as I knew how yummy the honeybush banana nut tea was. This one didn't disappoint either. I love it as is, no need for sugar and milk in my opinion. (2022)
Update: I've gotten a couple of my coworkers hooked on this tea. (2023)

I received a sample of this and immediately ordered a three ounce pouch after tasting it. Warm and sweet with distinct maple and blueberry flavor. It’s like drinking breakfast. I don’t even like blueberry much, but I can’t get enough of this tea.

It does taste like a blueberry pancake! I sweetened with horny, maple syrup would probably make it even better.

Just wow. I wasn't expecting this to live up to the reviews or the description but it does. It smells just like blueberry pancakes with syrup and it tastes that way too with some sweetener. Bold and wakes me up even though it's caffeine-free.
★★★★★
Surprisingly tastes extremely similar to a blueberry pancake. Absolutely fabulous with a fresh baked blueberry muffin.

This is a perfect breakfast tea - lots of pancake flavor and a mild blueberry.

The hint of maple syrup completely sells this tea! It is delicious, well-balanced, and spot on! The blueberries are there, the creamy-baked good-yumminess is there, and that little dash of maple. It is the perfect tea to accompany brunch! This and the Cranberry Nut Muffin Green tea are favorites around our house.

This smells like blueberry muffins! Everyone loved the smell of it steeping. The taste was great, too. Perfect for staying indoors on a frigid winter day.

10/10 This is the one. If you can only buy a few teas to try out, do not skip this one! There’s blueberry. There’s the syrupy pancake flavor. So, so good! I had it with a splash of milk and stevia.

The smell of this tea is insane! Opening the bag was truly like stepping into a kitchen with blueberry pancakes on the stove.
I brewed it exactly as directed (1 tsp per cup) but was somewhat disappointed with how weak it tasted. Maybe it's just me but I think you definitely need closer to 2 tsp per cup to get the most out of this tea. If you like maple syrup, you'll love this tea and overall I think it is certainly one of the most unique teas I've ever had.

This tea was a pleasant surprise. The aroma is truly blueberry pancake. I added a little honey for sweetener and loved it.

This blend was great. My favorite breakfast is Blueberry pancakes with extra blueberries. This tea allowed me to indulge without the calories. So delicious!
★★★★★
A delicious way to start your day. Just add some maple syrup to it as sweetener and you have breakfast in a mug.

Those tiny little blueberries, (only two in the spoon I used in my first cup) who would think they could make a pancake in your teacup? But they do! If you want to keep a blueberry pancake in your drawer at work without the upkeep this tea is for you. Add a little sweetener to bring out the full pancake flavor, but unsweetened it is a wonderful tea also.
Update 1/14/23 the recipe for Tea Marshmallows goes really well with this tea. I made the marshmallows using Strawberry Banana Split tea. The marshmallows are way easier to make than the recipe looks, and they are *very* sweet. If I use the marshmallows in a tea I don’t add any other sweeteners.

I can't get enough of this tea! It's perfect when I want a sweet, decaffeinated treat. I love the blend of blueberries and maple flavor. This one is definitely going on my favorites list!
★★★★★
It's all in the name. Smells JUST like a blueberry pancake & with the light almost nuttiness of the honeybush tea base, the fruity sweetness was well balanced. Great with milk & brown sugar!
★★★★☆
I like honeybush, blueberries and pancakes- and this combined all 3! Breakfast at any time of the day! A sweet treat without the caffeine. The warm aroma of pancake and maple syrup even made my hot tea disliking husband ask what I was drinking. (5 mins @ 212ºF + a touch of SF vanilla syrup)

Tastes exactly how it’s named!! Tastes like a blueberry pancake in a smooth, relaxing cup. Smells absolutely delicious and tastes just as good. The maple flavor is a little strong for me, I like to add the tiniest bit of honey to counter it a bit. But I like my teas on the sweeter end!! super delicious dessert tea!!

Ignore the overpowering scent of maple syrup when you open the bag, this is amazing. It's sweet, the maple is there but it doesn't taste 'sticky' like it smells; the berries are there, but aren't overpowering either. It's a great blend, though like with the Banana Nut Muffin it doesn't exactly taste like the name suggests.
★★★★★
Well, this is just hands down delicious. Period. I was sorry I didn't order more after my first cup so the next order was a big one and it has remained a go-to dessert and breakfast tea.

Very nice scent of, well, blueberry pancakes. Fairly mild flavor, but there's enough to get a nice breakfast vibe from it.
★★★★☆
This tea is pretty good. Upon opening the bag there was a scent of maple and tangy blueberries. There were 2 lonely blueberries in my sample. Sweetener was needed to enhance the maple and blueberry flavor. Adding a splash of half and half makes the tea more pancake-like. I found the maple flavor weakening as the tea cooled. A second steep was possible, but the flavor was mostly blueberry.
★★★★★
This is like breakfast without the actual breakfast. It is amazing. The sweet smell and mild taste of blueberries make it an extremely satisfying drink at all times of the day. Perfect for the Fall weather.

I got a free sample of this with my order and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I've ordered it twice now. Slightly fruity but also grounded by the honeybush, I actually evokes the flavor of a blueberry pancakes. Comforting and delicious!
★★★★☆
The smell of this is amazing. Blueberry and maple stand out. It is a little acidic for me, but adding a little milk helps. I've sweetened it with sugar, brown sugar, maple sugar, and even tried a tiny amount of maple syrup (not all at once of course) and they all taste good in this blend.

Surprisingly accurate to it's namesake, it tastes like pancakes. It has a fairly strong berry/maple combo and the smells from the bag translate to the final taste of it. I was pleasantly surprised by it, though it is very much limited for me as a morning only type of taste.
