The second I opened the bag, the smell made me think of a slightly more tangy version of Fruity Pebbles. The taste matches up to that smell, and it is delicious!
Citrus flavors of lemon and orange paired with the light-bodied natural fruitiness of green rooibos.

the mildest of the green rooibos teas...
not as easy for me to pick another flavor to mix with since it's not fruity. maybe vanilla?
this was my first green rooibos, and I've never smelled a tea more delectable. it tastes exactly like fruity pebbles! this is going to taste great iced
It's like fruity pebble tea. Boom. that's all you need to know.
This tea smells exactly like Froot Loops. It tastes like a great tropical fruit salad
I got this mainly because I wanted to try a rooibos tea, and I almost took it out of my cart. I am so glad I didn't, though, it is easily my favorite of the samples I got, and I will definitely buy it again!
It's really light, and has a soft citrus flavor. I find it really refreshing, and I love it hot or cold (or nine days old).
Pretty tea! The liquor is a nice deep orange, it smells tangy and citrusy. Lovely lemon and orange taste, but not harsh. It’s not bad, especially considering that citrus teas aren’t my favorite. It’s sweet, definitely no sugar needed here. Smells and tastes a bit like fruity pebbles. :)
Great flavored green rooibos, flavor is eerily similar to fruit loops cereal. I think I still prefer green rooibos bonita slightly more than this citron. But both are very good! (Update)- I have been mixing my green rooibos citron with some plain red rooibos and it creates a perfect cup of herbal tea, I used 1 part red rooibos to 3 parts green rooibos citron.
All the green rooibos teas are just fantastic, and this one is no exception. All my favorite flavors combined with lovely green rooibos.
I read the reviews for this before ordering it, and promptly forgot them. As soon as I took my first sip, the memories came rushing back, because it tasted like a just ate a big spoonful of fruity pebbles. The effect was really strange at first, but by my second cup, I'd decided that this is one of my top 5 favorite teas.
I love this tea--it's so fruity and fun. Weirdly, I think it tastes just like Froot Loops. In a good way!
Great citrus taste and the best when iced. Will try it hot soon.
This tea is astounding! It smells just like fruity pebbles and tastes just as good! I really love the base for this one. It's colorful, light, and the lemon is great. This tea is perfect for this light summer drizzle we've been having!
This tea is a great caffeine alternative to the citron green. It tastes almost just like it, reminds me a bit of fruity pebbles (but not nearly as strong).
After greatly enjoying the green rooibos key west blend, I thought that this would be just as delicious. And it isn't disgusting, or gross, but it reminds me so much of Froot Loops! I made a pitcher of it iced without trying a glass first, and could not get over how much it tasted like Froot Loops. I didn't add any sweetner, or anything either. So, if you are trying to cut back on calories, but have a serious addiction to Froot Loops, this might be the perfect tea for you!
Like a lemon tree grove in a cup. I like adding this to other teas, particularly black. That way, you get a hint of citrus without it being too overpowering.
Nice mild herbal tea. Very nice in iced tea, mixes well with a variety of other teas for this purpose. Citrus flavor was not overwhelming.
This was a very citrus'y' rooibos. Very refreshing and a great noon tea.
This is another good green rooibos tea. I tried it first in the sampler then got a bigger bag of it. It has a very strong lemon flavor, so beware if you don't enjoy lemon. The only reason I marked it as 'good' and not 'great' is just that the lemon is slightly too strong for me, but I still love the tea anyway.
For one thing it smells great--much like Fruity Pebbles like a lot of reviewers are saying. You can't go wrong with this tea!
This has become my favorite tea!! My husband also likes it as it is soothing and brings back childhood memories.
I'm going to start by saying I like this tea. I can't really place the taste perfectly, it has lemon notes and mild spice notes. It is a hard to describe taste, but definitely a good one. I would certainly recommend!
Yes it tastes like fruit loops. But besides that it is a really nice light tea that is great for any time of day.
This is my favorite rooibos tea so far. I really enjoyed the strong fruit aroma and taste. A great choice if you want a refreshing caffeine-free tea in the evening.
This is a great fresh and crisp tea, only sweeten lightly.
This tea smells and tastes like fruit loops… it's delicious! A bit sweet, as you can imagine, but very tasty.
Can I just say... Sweet Moses on a pogo-stick! I knew this tea was going to be citrusy but didn't know the level it would be at! Have a cold? this tea for teh win!!!
This tea is awesome, tastes like a cup of fruity pebbles! It smells delicious in the bag and in the cup, but it's got an odd skunky smell while steeping... Tastes awesome, though. Going to try more green rooibos!
This is amazing! Bright citrus flavors and aroma!
Delicious blend, will be ordering the larger size. great for super bowl parties.
The citron is not terribly strong in this tea for me. A little bit disappointing.
Lemon dominated, but not over-powering. This is a refreshing tea that is well suited for iced tea. Don't neglect it brewed hot, you won't be disapointed.
LEMON!!! I love this tea a new favorite for sure all the flavors add something that equals amazing
I ordered this by accident (meant to order the Citron Green), however, this is a fantastic blend. Just be careful not to over steep.
Great smooth and tangy taste the only bad thing is it has a bit of an off putting smell.
This tea is fantastic! I first tried it in the green rooibos sampler, and it was my hands-down favorite of the four samples. No wonder it sells out so fast! Refreshing and light.
This has become one of my 'go to' teas in the evening. This one is never overpowering and the citron gives it a nice crispness.
Great smell and taste. One of my favorite green tea.
Absolutely LOVE this tea. Smooth citrus without any bitter taste. Good for at least two steeps. I'm a fan of orange teas and this one is great for the evening unwind. Very nicely balanced flavors.
This tea is really good. I mix it with a little decaf vanilla and its wonderful.
Yummy and refreshing! I almost like it better iced, which I discovered by mistake when I left a pot out long enough for it to cool. When it's chilled, the fruity citrus flavors come out more.
pretty decent tea. my first green rooibos. think i prefer the red though. i got it because everyone said it smelled like fruity pebbles!
Green rooibos with orange flavor makes a good combination!
My husband is a green tea drinker, but until now I've never been able to tolerate it myself. What a difference this tea was from his store bought green tea bags!
I bought this sample because a reviewer said it tasted like Fruity Pebbles cereal, which my daughter loves. I ordered several other teas at the same time, so when it came time to try this one, I had forgotten why I ordered it. At first sip, I thought 'What is this background taste? It seems very familiar.' Then I realized the reviewer was right...Fruity Pebbles, but very subtle.
I had tried Red Rooibos tea bags about 5 years ago from the store and it was awful, so I never thought I would like any Rooibos tea. Now I am going to order the Green Rooibos sampler for sure, and maybe I'll retry the Red Rooibos sampler too.
out the teas i've tasted from adagio this by far has been my favorite usually i stay away from things like lemon since they can sometimes be over powering but this one to me was just perfect definitely recommend trying
I really enjoy this either iced or hot, especially when blended with honeybush orange.
Perhaps too many flavours packed into one sip is what leads me away from this one. I enjoy pulling the nuances from a single leaf, therefore making this feel like too much of a good thing.
Wow, this is a great combination! I loved the flavors together.
This is another iced tea staple for me. I LOVE THIS TEA! It is absolutely delicious and everybody that tastes it is shocked at how good it is. An absolute favorite. The orange/lemon flavors blend very nicely with the green rooibos. I steep for about an hour for richer flavor.
This tea didn't especially appeal to me - maybe a little too much of the green flavor? I enjoy the vanilla, caramel, chocolate tea flavors...
