This tastes good hot or cold. When sweetened it is a nice after dinner dessert. Since it is the green instead of the red rooibos it does not have the typical tree bark flavor the red rooibos can have.
In recent years, blueberries have garnered much attention as a nutrient powerhouse. This may be so, but to us, they are delicious jewels that shine in our lightly fruity, caffeine-free green rooibos.

A really delicious smelling tea, with the blueberries helping to compensate for the more medicinal qualities I feel rooibos can have, while the rooibos helps compensate for the more savory flavors one might not enjoy with a berry tea.
My CommuniTEA packet contained about 1.5tsp green rooibos and three blueberries (it’s always so exciting to find actual berries!) as well as one rose hip, a sprinkle of cornflowers, and one small bit of hibiscus, which turns out to be the exact correct amount to add brightness and enhance rather than overpower the delicate blueberry flavor. I steeped at 212F for the full 10min, adding Adagio’s raw honey for rooibos via demitasse spoon lightly dipped in the jar. The result was a refreshing warm lightly fruity cup.
This tea is so delicious, the more honeybush I drink the more I love it. The flavors are always so good, slightly sweet yet woodsy, the blueberry flavor was really good too, I was blessed by the tea gods today and had 3 whole blueberries in my packet.
CommuniTEA packet tasting, I prefer green rooibos over red rooibos and blended with blueberries, served chilled this one was refreshing. Happy sipping!
Decent tea for being decaf. I enjoyed the taste and it was smooth
I was simply underwhelmed by this tea. It’s fine, tastes vaguely of blueberry, but just wasn’t anything special.
A great caffeine free blueberry option. It's good plain and dessert like with cream and a little sweetener. I like it a lot but it's not my favorite blueberry tea.
CommuniTEA Sample: Another good green rooibos tea to wind down the evening with. The smell of blueberries is much stronger than the taste, but it is still a very enjoyable tea. No sweetener or creamer added.
Blueberry bliss. Slightly sweet green rooibos plays so nicely with the blueberry. I added a touch of honey for rooibos to enhance the blueberry flavor. Lovely sweet and slightly tart blueberry flavors are upfront. Just a pleasant cup of tea with a nice creamy mouthfeel. This tea is also great cold. I prefer steeping it and then chilling it. The flavors are a bit more pronounced this way verses cold brewing. Steeped at 212° for 5 mins. Cheers!
It feels like winning the lotto when you open a CommuniTea packet and find fruit. Today was a winner as I had 2 blueberries! I didn't pick up much tartness from the rosehips or hibiscus. What I did get was a refreshing, slightly sweet and blueberry decaf tea perfect for afternoon sipping.
Really enjoyed this tea. I am a big blueberry fan so I was very happy to try this today and it did not disappoint. It is also great as an iced tea!
They don’t sell ya short on blueberry flavor here! & don’t let the rooibos scare you off! This green rooibos is milder than the ever divisive red rooibos. Green rooibos is also very suited for fruity flavors.
Great natural blueberry flavor! Delicious hot or cold.
Green rooibos makes a good base for the blueberry in this tisane as the blueberry flavor really comes through loud and clear. But the flavor does not stand up to a second steep.
This was a pleasant, fruity tea, both hot and iced. Fairly light with some good flavor from the blueberry
I enjoy cold steeping most fruit flavored teas, so in sampling this blend that’s how I prepared it. The resulting tea was mild and pleasant, with very light blueberry flavor and a pleasant herbal tea from the green Rooibos. If I were looking for a strong blueberry flavor, I think I would turn to the black tea blend. But as a mild fruity afternoon cooler, this was spot on!
This was the first blueberry tea I’ve had that actually tastes like blueberries. This might be a combination of factors - the gentle base of green rooibos meant I could steep it a lot longer to pull out more flavor, but I also hit the jackpot and got three berries in my communiTEA packet! All in all this was a super refreshing cup to sip after a long day of yard work and is one I’d like to try cold steeped as well!
Delicious with plenty of blueberry flavor! Perhaps the best green rooibos tea I’ve tried.
There were a lot of whole blueberries in my packet. This gave the tea a very strong blueberry flavor. The green rooibos was also very subtle so it compliment the blueberry flavor.
I steeped this tea for 10 minutes at 212F.
This is so good! I had never tried green rooibos before…. But this is good. Just the right amount of blueberry flavor. I didn’t add any sweetener- 190 for 5.5 minutes
I love fruity teas, so this rooibos was right up my alley.
Green rooibos blends nicely with the tartness of the blueberry, cranberry, and hibiscus flavors. This is great both hot and iced.
This is a great blueberry tea that's delicious hot or cold.
Great Blueberry flavor. It’s a lovely afternoon break.
I love green rooibos so much more than red rooibos. It lacks the oddly chemical aftertaste, yet is much softer and less astringent than green teas.
Add in the blueberries and you've got a sweet, fruity, honeyed tea that is smooth, smooth, smooth. It has nice, bright flavor yet a light, airy mouthfeel. I'm definitely a fan of this tea.
I had 3 blueberries in my CommuniTea packet today. I think that helped with the intensity of the flavor. This is the most flavorful of the blueberry teas that I have sampled so far. I love that it is decaf as well.
The scent of juicy blueberries emanated up out of today's packet. A 5 minute steep at 212°F created an amber orange colored tisane.
Smooth blueberry flavors alongside fresh green rooibos made this cup a vibrant and healthy one to sip on. Plenty of fresh blueberry essence in each sip. No sweetener needed here!
Enjoyed this, a strong berry flavor. Brewed at 195 for 4 minutes, 32 oz. in VelociTEA. Blueberry flavor was stronger as the tea cooled. Very nice.
I didn't get too excited about this tea but I also didn't hate it. It's a pretty straightforward rooibos blend with blueberry, raspberry leaf and cranberry flavors. The hibiscus is surprisingly subdued which made me happy.
It is a nice rooibos but I didn't taste the blueberries as much as I expected
I found this tea to be surprisingly soothing to drink. I was excited to see both blueberries and cranberries in my packet. I'm not normally a blueberry fan, but I think the other ingredients made it more enjoyable for me.
This a great tea, love this one, you really the blueberries and taste it, (212 @ 10 min). Great Job!
A delicious blueberry tea hot or cold. As a black tea drinker I love a rich, bountiful taste especially in fruit teas. I had to reduce the amount of water to brew this one to extract a luscious blueberry flavor. My CT packet had 3 g/ 2 ¾ tsp of all ingredients including many blueberries and it seemed 16 oz. was a reasonable amount to brew at 212*F for 10 min. The peach colored liquor had a tart taste initially but a sweetener add encouraged the blueberry flavor to come out more while the tart taste from cranberries, rose hips and hibiscus slipped to the finish of the sip. The green rooibos added a touch of sweet hay flavor that was more noticeable in the aftertaste. The blueberry flavor, though, was there but not as plentiful.
My sample bag allowed more brews of this tea so I made a smaller cup of 14 oz. using the same brew time and temp. with a similar amount of tea I found in my CT packet. This cup had a nice full blueberry flavor and was so good! I sweetened and chilled a mini cup too. Tasted hours later, this tea was even better cold. I found this tea was more like a fruit tisane when brewing. Using less water or more tea, made this a very tasty 5 star cuppa for me.
Great tea!
What can I say besides blueberry heaven? It's like picking out the dried blueberries from some trail mix and just enjoying them outright.
It wasn't anything amazing, but it had a simple sweet flavour.
Not the biggest fan of green teas, but this one has a nice taste.
22 May 2020 review: Can’t go too wrong with blending fruits with green rooibos! Nice and smooth blueberry flavor and a great aftertaste. Added 1/4 tsp sugar to help with any tartness. This one’s a winner!
I don't like anything in this blend, so don't listen to me, cuz I'm prejudiced. I HATE red rooibos. And I don't like blueberries in my tea, or hibiscus, or raspberry leaves. I was able to take at least a few sips of this before chucking. It's not as awful as red rooibos, at least. So far it hasn't made me nauseous like red roo does. Keeping my fingers crossed (sorry, CT, I tried! And yesterday's pick was fabulous, yum.)
One of my favorite green/rooibos blends! Somehow full and light at the same time.
Wow! This tea is awesome, fruity, delicious-ness! Very refreshing cold-brewed.
Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Strong blueberry fragrance from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5+ mins at 212° F, I notice more subtle, but still present blueberry aromas from my cup. When I take a sip, tasty blueberry and herbal rooibos noticed.
Today's CommuniTea packet is green rooibos blueberry, which is made of green rooibos tea, blueberries, blueberry flavor, raspberry leaves, rose hips, hibiscus, cranberries and blue cornflowers. This may be the first time I've had a communiTea packet with visible blueberry pieces and it makes a difference in terms of blueberry taste shiny through. I may get some desiccated blueberry to have on hand for when my packets aren't smiled upon by the blueberry packaging gods. Rooibos tends to be a dusty tea, and today is no exception, but I much prefer the less oxidized green tea to its rosy cousin. All in all a nice start to the morning. Steeped in 12 ounces of 200 degree water for three minutes.
Rocking Blueberry!
Not rocking, as in a chair
But like a concert!
I'm singing along
Upbeat and cheerful lyrics
Dancing to it's song
Though rocking is fun!
In a chair, that is, calming
So it's like this, too!
So I'll say rocking
and let you decide the kind
Chair or musical!!

Lovely sweet scent and taste. If not in the mood for sweet, add a touch of lemon. Nice smooth finish. Lovely rooibos tea!
9/18/21 - mmmm! Still love the sweetness of green rooibos mixed with blueberry. Very tasty!
pronounced blueberry fragrance as soon as i opened the packet. the flavor is very nice, best blueberry tea i've tried so far :-)
I was looking for a caffeine free blueberry tea and this hit the spot
This is soft and tasty tea blend. Also, it helps our immune system.
Smells very good out of the bag, nice rounded berry flavor, not grassy or wooden. Perfect iced alone but also good mixed with Kona Pineapple.
