This was a gift for a friend who loved the sample I gave her earlier. She reports it is still her favorite.
Perky spices and mellow pu erh in a soul-soothing blend.

spice is not my bag but it had good balance between tea and spice
This is quite good, I find that the anise is a bit strong for my tastes but otherwise it is good.
The pu erh taste was great, as it always is, but I felt that the blend could have used a bit more spice. It's the same issue I have with the 'oriental spice' black tea blend.
It has that earthy quality of pu erh, but with an added kick. I like to add milk and honey to mine.
Did not like the flavor of this. The only tea from adagio I haven't liked!
This tea is enjoyable and has a great flavor, the spices adds to the flavor.
I loved this tea. It is my new favorite. A good earthy smell and taste but smooth and not bitter.
The reason I bought this tea is due to a fascination I have with a tea made by a company called TeaLargo based in Florida. It was called Caramel Chai Pu Erh tea and to this day it is my favorite tea I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. This pu erh spice brings me that earthy tone I remember so well. If mixed with the Caramel tea Adagio makes it gets pretty close to the real deal. Unfortunately if you add chai tea to the mixture it spoils the whole thing, aromas and tastes get too overbearing and the end result is very unappealing. With that said I highly recommend pu erh spice to new tea drinkers who have never had anything different from their usual blacks, greens, or whites. 5 out of 5.
Very earthy and very good. I would recommend this to anyone who likes that type of taste
The combination of pu erh earthiness and spices was interesting, but not too overpowering. I prefer the hazelberry, but it was definitely worth buying a sample.
definitely will reorder. Wonderful blend of spices and oh what a great taste.
This was kind of nice, but I wasn't a big fan of how the flavors all came together. I can imagine it being super nice when I'm sick, though, because of the ginger.
Fantastic taste! You will not be disappointed with this purchase.
Personally I did not like this one or any of the Pu Erh ones, but all of my friends loved them. They enjoy this tea, but I'd rather drink another tea.
Very earthy with lots of spice and a hint of orange. Though I found that the spice was underwhelming, since I was expecting more of a punch like masala chai. Great tea to take with milk and and honey to warm you up on a cold day.
This is one of my husband's favorites - and I quite like it, too! It has a great chai quality about it, but the flavor is more subdued. This is a favorite after dinner tea in our home.
This tea is a bit too flavorful for my taste. Worth the free sample just to try though.
Not my cup of tea. Very dry in the month, but mixes very well with eggnog during the holidays.
odd spice flavored! For the adventurer! Maybe better with milk to make it more like a chai latte.
I think its good, and it reminds me a bit of some different chai tea I recently had. For Pu Erh I like it, its not too 'dirty' tasting.
I like spiced teas and I was not thrilled with the scent of this one- both in the bag and brewed. Not my favorite. Flavor was ok, but the orange peel turned me off for some reason.
I LOVED THIS TEA SOOO MUCH!!!
I like this pu erh blend. It reminds me of some of my favorite spice tea. It is well blended and not over powering in flavor that some spice teas can have.
Someone gave me dandelion tea and I thought it was real similar to pu erh tea. This was excellent!
Really nice tea. Very smooth with a nice bit of flavor.
My new favorite! A strong spice flavor with a wonderfully mineral flavor.
Wonderful full range of spice tea. Well liked in the office.
I am a fan of spicy teas, generally leaning toward chai blends so strong your eyebrows start to sizzle when you take a sip. This tea is perfect if you want to try a spicy tea that's a little more mature and doesn't taste like it's had fistfuls of cinnamon thrown in. The dry leaves smell almost exactly like Christmas mincemeat, but after steeping everything mellows out into a wonderfully fragrant and balanced mixture of sweet spices and sour orange peel with just a touch of savory smokiness. This tea was also pleasantly refreshing and bright, perfect for a cozy wake up call. I can't wait for my next cup, and I will most definitely order this tea again.
So far I have not been a huge fan of pu erh because of the heavy 'earthy' flavor of the tea. This tea still had quite a bit of 'earthy' taste to it and the spices were not as strong as a I am hoping. Not a bad tea but not a great tea.
I am sure this would appeal to some people but sadly I am not one of them. I was overwhelmed with the taste of the spice, mostly the aniseed but another almost leathery taste that was not pleasing to me. I cannot give this a bad rating as there were some pleasant notes in the flavor but sadly they were overpowered.
I would say try it, tea tastes are unique to each person and pu erh is a very special tea that should at least be tried.
Well, in my adventure to try new teas I think I have discovered that spiced varieties aren't for me. Not a bad tea though, just not for me.
nice puerh - not the best ive had but good in a pinch
Very good. Nice spicy flavor! Can be re-steeped up to 3 times.
This is a good pu erh variety, but personally I wish it had a little more kick, like the masala chai.
I love Pu Erh and I especially love this flavor. To me, Pu Erh's tend to have a bit of a leather-like taste but for some reason, it really is yummy. So this one tastes sort of like a Chai flavored leather boot. Who knew that could be so tasty?!?
This is a fully body and great for morning enjoyment.
This is very smooth and no hint of astringency. Pu erh will be my go to tea now.
This is a lovely tea for a crisp winter morning. Well spiced, it gives you a jolt of warmth that lingers as you walk out into the blustery cold.
i love this tea it makes my heart feel nice i steep at 300 degree for 7 minutes i like it that way no judgement hate free site
Delicious, full bodied tea with mellow bass notes. Bright spicy notes on top! Wonderful. Definitely different from any chai.
Very intense flavor, i enjoy this brewed at double strength as a breakfast tea.
This tea smells so 'off' to me that I haven't been able to make myself try it. I'll update this review if I ever steep this stuff.
I've tried many pu'erh teas before. However, this one is a less bold than most pu'erhs I've had. It's still a very good tea.
The pu erh is a stable tea and with the added spices it really can do no wrong.
not my favorite pu erh, but still a very nice tea.
Smooth, earthy, with just the right amount of orange peel to offset the ginger root. I love it!
It was a little too earthy for me. I expected a little more spice
For some reason unbeknownst to me this tea was the only pu eh of the four I had bought that smelled and tasted like the floor of a fish market. Strongly recommend those who want to try pu eh to purchase the chorange, hazelberry, or Yunnan pu eh white teas instead.
This is an excellent tea. It's got a nice smoky taste and a really rich color. I like it best with a teaspoon of honey.
