This smells amazing! Omg! Great morning tea. Definitely wakes you up as a black tea and also the smell is great to wake up to

This smells amazing! Omg! Great morning tea. Definitely wakes you up as a black tea and also the smell is great to wake up to
Surprisingly light and refreshing! I love the smoothness.
This was pleasantly refreshing! The strawberry balances out the earthiness of the the pu-erh, and the hazelnut really just ties it all together to make this tea a perfect treat! loved it!
This is a GREAT tea. Reminiscent of the milk left over after cereal, but in a good way. Fits perfectly with a splash of cream.
I love this tea. It is great sweetened or unsweetened, with milk or without, and is nearly impossible to over-steep.
I don’t love now it’s unclear if the cocoa has dairy in it.
Fantastic tea. Co-workers make jokes that when i steep a cup of this tea, it smells like cake and they cant stop thinking about having a cake instead of working. A real disruptor tea)
My new favorite. I had been very turned off to black tea for quite some time because of the leathery flavor. This is a great, nutty balance that I appreciate with a really nice “zing” of caffeine.
Really good, strong tea with light strawberry and creme flavors.
Good earthy cup, but the hazelnut flavor is weak and the berry flavor was a bit lost.
Got this one for the hazelnut fans in the family and it is a huge hit. I have been informed I need to re order it.
One of my favorite wake-up teas. Has a nutty flavor with a little sweetness and a little earthiness from the puerh, but not so much that it tastes like dirt, like some puerh I’ve tried.
Soft and warm. Not terribly bright or exciting, but definitely worth a try.
The berry is very strong on this one but I love the hazelnut that helps bring it down a notch.
This tea has a very pleasant flavor. But I had to remember the high caffeine content before going back for a second cup!
My favorite tea by far! It is lovely to have on hand and drink it grandpa style
Very flavorful tea, i preferred this tea steeped a shorter time that the 5 minutes recommended
My initial impression after opening the pouch and taking a sniff was... crunchberry cereal! Wonderfully fruity and creamy, I really enjoy this tea as my first pu-erh! As someone who's not typically crazy about hazelnuts, the fruit flavor balances it really well
Reminiscent of a strawberry milkshake topped with a drizzle of velvety smooth chocolate sauce but less rich in a good way. Milk and sugar are essential if you really want the full milkshake experience. The tea is extremely smooth going down and has zero astringency. My only complaint is that I sucked it down too fast to actually enjoy that moment of repose one normally finds with a cup of tea!
Some reviews suggested the flavor was overly earthy, but I didn't feel that way at all. Perhaps any earthiness that may be there (somewhere) came through for me as soft chocolate and nuttiness. Other reviews mentioned that it tasted too much like sweet cereal. Although I do see where they're coming from flavor wise I personally didn't find the flavors overly artificial or sickeningly sweet. However, it is a tea that has been adulterated with flavor, so if you aren't one for sweeter fruity flavors (or strawberry milkshakes) and instead prefer crisp, brisk, bold, and unadulterated teas, this probably won't work for you.
Does it make a good second steeping? Not really. The second cup lost about 50% of the original flavor and sparkle. Perhaps adding another few pinches of fresh tea to the infuser would rectify that. Personally I rarely second steep because I'd rather switch things up, so second steeping results aren't much of a concern for me.
Overall I'll definitely purchase this again. It's a great tea for curbing a sweet tooth. The flavors make this more of a treat tea than a daily tea for me, but I certainly could drink this a couple times a week!
This blend has become my go-to! I love the sweetness, and a little cream and sweetener satisfies my sweet tooth without the guilt
So happy I found this tea flavor as a replacement to one of my old favorite Teavana teas. Adagio, you had made my morning and evening cups of tea complete again
Just ok, although I think I'm not a huge fan of pu-erh tea, a little too earthy maybe.
I'm updating my review of this tea from 2014 (!!!) to say that it's still my #1 favorite tea. I steep it for hours with no issue - I pop it into a paper teabag, into my giant travel mug, and drink it through my commute and morning at work and it tastes perfect the entire time. Some days it's how I convince myself to get out of bed in the morning!
...
I am such a fan of pu erh, thanks to Adagio. Hazelberry is my go-to work tea: I keep it at my desk and have it in the afternoon when I start thinking about something sweet. The flavor is mellow but luscious, and it holds up to multiple re-steepings for me. I think it would make a lovely gift or introduction to pu erh.
This is good but Pu-Erh is a very black deep tea compared to other teas, like a dark cup of coffee.
I absolutely love this tea. Ordered about 8 samples and this one rose to the top as favorite. Fruity, creamy, delightful. I really enjoy the earthy flavor of pu-erh in general, but the strawberry and nuttiness really pushed this one over the edge. I'm ordering a big bag next!
Wasn’t prepared to really like this CommuniTea offering - not a fan of hazelnut, but, the combination of the earthy puh-erh tea and the nuttiness of the hazelnuts just worked - add in the tangy sweetness of strawberry and some magical blending and this tea became a favorite. That one little packet was definitely not enough, had to order a sample size.
One of my favorites! It is so good. It smells like cookies and cream to me
Wonderfully earthy tea that has a great nutty, fruit flavor with just a hint of chocolate that is wonderful without being overpowering.
I adore Pu-Erh Chorange and was worried that this one would disappoint. I shouldn't have been. A lovely mix of chocolate and light fruit makes a well balanced, refreshing cup. This is sure to become one of standard favorites.
This one is just amazing. I like to add a bit of cinnamon to it.
The hazelnut flavor really came out along with the creaminess. I really enjoyed this one
What a great pu erh! I’ve only had regular pu erh, never flavored. This one is so smooth and delicious. A wonderful taste of strawberries and cream! Delicious!
I really enjoy this tea. So smooth, and no astringency. I add a bit of coconut milk and Splenda to bring out the delicious flavor.
This tea smells incredible and I'm really enjoying the soft, creamy flavor. Surprisingly yummy.
Great fruity flavor, a nice mild tea, add some honey
First time trying pu-erh tea and this is so good! Great creamy strawberry flavor with chocolate notes!
This is a lovely tea. The scent is intoxicating and inviting, and the taste is absolutely intriguing. I am reminded of hazelnut roast coffee. I really enjoyed this.
This is my first pu-erh tea. But I opened the bag thinking it smelled like Captain Crunch. I like the creamy notes, but I don't love the Captain Crunch thing happening.
Fruity & Earthy--two words one might not expect would go together. It's OK. I'll stick with mostly black teas when I'm in the mood for a flavored tea.
Not my cup of tea. Reminded me of fruity breakfast cereal.
Sweet and fragrant and smells like strawberry-flavored Pocky right out of the bag, which is wild. The puerh is strangely complementary, even if I don't think I'll ever truly like adding hazelnut to it. Good resteep mileage though- you'll still get good color and flavor if you pull it out of the water in less than a minute, but it'll also withstand being forgotten for half an hour.
Okay, so I know the description says that Pu-Erh isn t bitter, but I was completely sketpical with a brew temp and time like that. Proved me wrong! This tea is so smooth to drink and honestly can be steeped twice with very little loss in flavour. Delicious.
Great flavor, strong without bitterness or astringency. Good balance between the tea, nuttiness, and berry flavors
This is a delicious tea, and it is one I intend to order frequently.
Didn’t think I would like a flavored puerh, but this has just the right amount of warm nuttiness.
Got this for my mother to try, she’s not a big fan of teas, but she really enjoyed the subtle hazelnut and chocolate notes of this tea.
This tea is so smsing I’ve ordered multiple times. I cannot put my finger on it, but this tea is reminiscent of a cereal, kind of nutty with a mix of cocoa and cream. It’s a smooth tea, smells great and tastes even better.
This is my favorite day to day tea. I love the taste, and I love that it can brew for ten or twenty minutes and still be delicious. It has an earthy flavor that the hazelnut complements. I'm a huge fan
Tastes like described. Can use tea ball for a 2nd steep.
This tea tastes like captain crunch berries and I can't tell if it really works or not but it's weird and I like it
