Extremely intense hazel flavor. Almost gritty in the cup. Very overwhelming, not for me. But! Add 1/2t to sweet potato pie tea, delish!
Pu Erh with rich hazelnut and playful strawberry with a hint of cream.

Amazing strawberry flavor with a hint of hazelnut and cream. Everybody in the team meeting loved it.
Oh i love this one! The unique taste of pu’erh with hazelnut and strawberry. It’s a surprising match made it heaven!
One of our favorite teas! Just a hint of fruit. We usually buy this by the pound and drink it all year round.
So yummy. Its a smooth tea with a nutty undertone and a slight sour note from the strawberries. Love it!
One of my and my husbands favorite teas. You can never go wrong, unless you drink it on a very empty stomach, I learned that the hard way.
the flavor is a good balance of a pu-erh and a fruity flavor. I was able to get a couple of steeps and both flavors remained.
This is a decent cup with a good mix of flavors, but none of the flavors really stick out, just blend together indistinctly.
I didn’t know I loved Pu-Erh- but this one makes me so happy! I can’t wait to try more Pu-Erh teas!
I love it. It is perfect for an afternoon treat with a sugar cookie. It came as a sample and I placed an order as soon as it was gone.
This tea has a very nice nutty flavor, hazelnut flavored even. I don't taste much strawberry, but maybe I overheated it.
My favorite tea! I drink it everyday. It smells like Cap’n Crunch Berries cereal! Doesn’t taste like it though, which is probably a good thing.
Quite tasty -- definite hazlenut taste, but not so strong that you forget you are drinking tea. I'm sure it would be good with milk and sugar, but I've had it straight so far.
I made this for a special brunch and everyone loved it. It’s an unusual and special blend. We have enjoyed it hot and also iced.
Flavor was very mild, pleasant and tasty but not as hazel-like as expected and minimally berry flavored.
Great robust flavor, with or without cream and honey. I like to steep it in hot almond milk for an extra decadent experience.
This is my first experience with Pu-erh teas and after trying this one I’m definitely a fan. I like the earthy, cocoa, and a little bit of hazelnut flavor I get from it. It’s great with a little bit of cream in it….no sugar necessary in my book.
This is delicious. Nice flavor of strawberries’n’cream and hazelnut. I like to mix this with Cream tea for an even creamier flavor.
Not my favorite. That’s mostly due to my realization that I’m not a fan of cooked puerh and flavors.
i truly think pu-erh comes down to personal preference. i figured that if i were ever going to like it, it would need to be combined with berries because i'm an herbal nut. that said, i thought it tasted ok, but i couldn't get past the smell.
Smooth tasting, goes down easy. My son enjoys this tea hot, without anything added. We haven't had it iced yet, but will try it in the summer.
This has been my daily morning drinker for probably ten years now. Its full bodied and helps scratch the ex-coffee drinker itch. It is also high caffeine which I like in the mornings. If you put creamer in it, it tastes like Captain Berry Crunch cereal!
The flavors are gone on a second brew and there seems to be a metallic taste no matter the brew time or temperature. Other teas with the same flavors offered here are superior in my opinion.
I love this tea, it tastes like going berry picking in the woods 🌳🫐🍓
Not bad, but I don't think it's for me. Strawberry flavor came through the most, especially while hot— was expecting some more hazelnut and puerh flavors, and it's not a very strong tea overall. Maybe i need to try a diff. steeping method, but for now it's not a go-to pick for me :(
Not my favorite tea, but fine. I will use it up but most likely not reorder.
Smooth- very much enjoyed this. I was a bit worried because dry in the pouch it is very scented. However, when prepared it is perfectly balanced, and not overwhelming. I find this flavor to be reminiscent of summer.
The tea has a very woodsy, almost earthy flavor profile. I enjoyed the first cup but couldn’t taste the berry aspects at all.
Yes please! A nice strong tea with a good balance between nutty and berry flavors. That little bit of cocoa flavor from the nibs doesn't exactly make it taste chocolate-y, but it rounds things out with that little bit of bitterness and richness. A good tea.
By far my new favorite tea. I always have to have it on hand. I stretch the leaves a bit further by using them twice. Sometimes it does seem to have a bit of a fishy flavor, but if you rinse it before hand it takes care of that. For the second soak, I'll let it steep for 15 minutes or more and it doesn't get excessively bitter.
Communitea Jan 2025. It's fine for a puerh but I'm not really getting a whole lot of flavor in this one. Just tastes like a standard puerh to me.
The beverage equivalent of one of those multi-color click-pens-- it does many things, none of them wonderfully. This tea can have a different flavor with every sip, and while not repulsive, it's not as pleasant as when you savor each separately.
I liked it. It is a good enough tea for me. It didn’t have too strong of a flavor and neither weak. Just okay for me. I might be missing the flavor notes others are picking up.
Absolutely mind melting blend. The aroma both dry and brewed inspires a sense of nostalgic reminiscence. Makes me think of fresh rainfall and forestry.
A household must have! I really enjoy this tea, one of my favorite pu-erh teas
This is one of my favorite teas. I wouldn't have realized how well hazelnut and strawberry go together if I hadn't tried it and now I want it all the time
If you like the taste of hazelberries, then this is the tea for you. I did sweeten it up a little with honey.
Light on berry and heavier on the hazelnut, but this blend has become a favorite. I tried the four-pack of Pu-Erh teas, and this is the one I most wanted to restock. It’s delicious.
I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this one! A great pick me up or dessert tea!
After trying another Pu-Erh tea, I went into this on a whim and realized I much preferred it over just a regular black tea. This one may be my new favorite tea, the Hazelberry is just the right flavor enhancement for these teas!
The sampler was such a tease, will need to buy more asap. This was my first Pu-Erh and glad it was a success!
I really enjoyed this tea; it brews up a nice, dark color, and was both nutty and fruity. I’ve had this one in blends too and it always tastes good, hot or cold. It’s a very smooth tasting tea and I would gladly have it again.
212* for 3 minutes
One of my all time favorites. Rich with warm flavors. A hug in a mug.
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F. I made three infusions and each one was different. Generally, I want a strong, earthy, savory Pu-Erh and this... kind of has that? The first cup felt a little too overpowering in the hazelnut, strawberry, and sweet notes in general. It had the rich, silkiness of a Pu-Erh, and that paired well with those sweet flavors, but I felt they covered up the natural earthiness of the tea. The second cup had a better balance of both flavors, I think, where as by the third cup, both the sweet and earthy flavors were becoming weaker.
Of the Puerh varieties this one is tied with Spice as my favorites. The flavor is on point and balanced with the earthy tea!
Update 11/‘24 so I can taste the puerh oddness a little this time and it does need sweetener for m but it’s still so remarkably soothing. It’s almost like a cup of coffee. Perfect for November
Loved it! Not sure what I was expecting but not this. Incredibly smooth. Flavors are subtle but can taste all of them even without sugar. Cream ends up being more texture than flavor. I love it.
I loved this! The strawberries and cream flavor really comes through and the hazelnut is such a nice, nutty, grounding flavor. The puerh is there, but VERY mild. As another said, if puerh weren't in the name I probably wouldn't know it was puerh. Maybe it's covered by the toastiness of the hazelnut? So don't be scared off by the puerh, you don't get the normal earthy, (sometimes fishiness) that comes with puerh
Honestly it just tastes like maybe just a slightly earthing or richer black tea
The 'hazelberry' flavoring is what comes through the most and I think it's delicious! Going on my favorites list. :)
Hmmmm, this tea is different than what I thought it would be and thank goodness! The rich flavor of the strawberry comes through beautifully with the hazelnut in the soft background. I was initially worried about pu-erhs being described as 'earthy' but I didn't get that at all with this blend. Simply delicious to my taste buds!
Interesting. The cocoa aroma was quite strong upon opening. The cocoa and hazelnut flavors were most prominent. I couldn't detect any strawberry but there were no strawberry pieces in my single potion sample, could be luck of the draw. Slightly odd aftertaste.
My Nov.11 CT packet of Pu-erh Hazelberry smelled very strong of Hazelnut, which I LOVE. The dry tea was a rich dark almost chocolate color. I did not detect any other content in appearance or flavor. I experienced a very smooth, almost caramelly hazelnut flavor, seemingly nutty and slightly sweet all on it's own. I DID NOT rinse my Pu-erh, must have missed that one in my newbie lessons I DO get a bit of an aftertaste that I cannot call fishy or astringent but it is present. I enjoyed this sample a great deal. I think I like a new tea variety now.😉
Sweet, berry and cream, and an undertone of hazelnut brought together with the malty flavor of puerh. This is a lovely tea.
