My communitea packet seemed to have a good balance of the ingredients, & it smelled like peach rings.
Once steeped the peach flavor was dominate but not overly artificial. This tea could most likely work well either hot or iced. Adding sugar amplified the peach flavor & I found I didn’t need as much as usual. The flavor lasted through multiple steeps.

I steeped the tea in a standard 12oz cup for a few mins...then added Half a carafe full of hot water and let it steep at room temp till the carafe cooled down. Then I put the carafe in the fridge (with the tea in it) and left it over night. The smooth deliciousness the next morning put me in a peachy mood. Yum yum yum.

I enjoyed this peach flavored tea. It would have been very good iced as well!

This peach oolong tea tastes fruity without being too strong flavored. You can definitely taste the peach flavor though. I don't normally like peaches, but this tea taste great!

Today's CommuniTEA packet released the smell of fresh summertime peaches, a welcome scent after last night's snowstorm.

The packet contained wispy oxidized oolong tea leaves, some peachy bits, and marigold flowers Pressing the VelociTEA button for Oolong steeped this tea at 195°F for 4 minutes instead of the 3 recommended. The tea produced was a dark peachy orange.

The flavor was nicely peachy, with a slight pecan nuttiness and mild oolong tea tannins. The peach flavor reminds me of a certain peach bitters, or the peach matcha blend. The mouthfeel is very full and starting out smooth with a moderate astringency in the finish. All in all, this is a great peachy oolong that's great to warm up and recall memories of summertime while the snow melts outside.

This is a nice peachy oolong. Upon opening the bag, there is a very strong peach aroma. The peachiness persists through to the brewed tea.

I received this tea as part of the CommuniTEA box. As such, this review might be colored by the fact that small portions aren't always a balanced blend like larger ones. For example, I don't remember seeing any fruit pieces in my portion, but regardless, on with the review:

I received a hearty portion of this tea, almost entirely filling my little tea ball. It smelled of bright peaches, similar to the peach gummy rings (and oh, how this tea makes me crave them!), while being accompanied by a slightly darker tea smell as well. I proceeded to steep this tea for the recommended 3 minutes in 195 degree water (I actually tracked down a digital thermometer to ensure that this temperature was as correct as possible, too. I didn't want to accidentally scald the leaves).

Upon the finished steep, I noted that the liquid was a bright orange amber color, clear and transparent, and had the same bright peach smell as the dry leaves. The taste is strongly oolong, with the peach flavor primarily coming out in the scent. It's pleasant, though, and while I don't think it needed sugar, I opted to add a small amount regardless. The sugar helped to brighten it, and bring out the peach flavors within the tea.

Overall, this is a very nice tea. Even my mother, who despises peach in all its forms, seemed to find it pleasant enough to try two sips of the tea without much fuss. While I personally prefer the white tea with peach, rather than this oolong, I certainly will consider buying this tea in the future.

195 degrees for 3 minutes. Smooth and mellow with a definite natural peach flavor and a light toasting. Delicious as a hot tea, and probably refreshing as an iced tea.

Ah, I've coveted this tea from afar for several months, waiting for the summer to purchase so I can enjoy it iced. I'm grateful for the opportunity to try-before-I-buy!

After a 3 minute steep at 190F, I have a dark orange brew giving off juicy peach aromas. Wow, I could just sniff that all day! The peach flavor is fresh and natural tasting, not quite as strong as it smelled but close enough. The brightness of peach mingles nicely with the mellow earthy notes coming from the oolong. The sweet smoothness makes for a perfect cup of tea.

This blend is absolutely wonderful and I feel confident buying a huge bag once warm weather rolls around - cold brew here I come!

I really love that this is more than just a peach flavored tea. There's an inherent roastiness from the oolong that contrasts the sweetness of the added flavor. It's not my favorite peach tea but not by much.

I got a bit more oolong flavor than peach flavor out of this tea, but it's a nice cup.

I was excited to try todays communitea, as I was looking forward to trying another peach tea. I brewed it up as per instructions. The aroma was nice, peachy and welcoming. The taste however, was not as peachy as I had expected. I found the peach a little too subtle, and to me, it did not pair as well as I would have expected with the oolong. I like each taste separately, but I found they did not compliment each other as well as I would have hoped. Not a bad tea, just not something I would reach for.

I think this is my favorite peach tea. Wonderful peach aroma, just the right blend of tea and peach flavor. This is delicious hot and seems like it would make the perfect peach iced tea.

I love this tea. It brings together two of my favorite tea flavors, oolong & peach. I could wish that the peach was a little more bold, but it's still good. I think that the peach really comes out more with a little bit of sugar. It is a little astringent/mouth drying, which doesn't really bother me that much, but I feel the sugar helps with that as well. Tasted as part of The CommuniTea.

I was thinking I must have already reviewed this tea, but realized I've tried this peach oolong before in the Orchard Oolongs sampler and the Orchard Iced Teas sampler, so I haven't reviewed this one directly.  Glad to do so today through CommuniTEA!  This one is just delicious, and I'll definitely order some for this summer.  The oolong balances the peach so nicely, without either overpowering the other.  I usually pick up some cocoa notes from the oolong in this one, too.  Definitely prefer this one over the peach black tea!  Great warm or iced, and a little bit of honey brings out that beautiful peachiness!   (3 mins @ 195º)

I steeped today's CommuniTEA portion for 3.5 minutes. It smelled lovely in the packet but unfortunately didn't come through in the cup. It was also pretty drying and I couldn't tell if that was normal astringency or if I messed it up myself because I used water that was too hot. The resteep also did not have any flavor. I would not drink this one again since it did not have any flavor but I'd be open to trying it again if given a free sample to see if maybe my packet wasn't representative.

I overall like this tea but had to give 4 stars instead of 5 because the taste does not match the smell. When I opened the packet I got a beautiful peach aroma and was disappointed that once brewed it was no longer there, and the flavor gives just the barest hint of peach. That hint of peach is the only flavor I get, so while it's a decent cup of tea it's just not what I was expecting.

Maybe it was my CommuniTea packet, but this tea had almost no flavor. It smelled really good when I opened it, but after brewing it wasn't much more than brown hot water. There was no tea flavor, and the peach flavor was almost non-existent. This was a real disappointment because I usually love peach teas.

Peach-flavored teas tend to be some of my least favorites so this was a pleasant surprise - I think it's okay. My first steep I got distracted and WAY oversteeped (by probably 10 minutes...oops!). It still wasn't bitter and was actually drinkable. Second steep I added a bit of honey and am enjoying it. It's not something I'll order, but for a fruity, flavored tea it's not so bad. The marigold flowers make it look pretty, too!

Oolong tea and peach flavoring brew a delightful cup of tea. Mild and low astringency if steeped at a lower temp for 3 min. Also, adding a touch of sweetener brought out even more of the fruitiness. Going to try it iced in anticipation of the warmer weather to come.

I love peach and oolong so I already knew I would enjoy this tea before opening the packet. It smells amazing, like a fresh peach and a little bit of peach rings candy. After steeping for 3 minutes at 190°F more of the roasted oolong comes through in the aroma. The first thing I taste is slightly dry, fruity peach and then the smooth almost creamy oolong tea in the finish. No bitterness at all. The flavors complement each other perfectly and it doesn't need anything added to it, but I think it would also be great lightly sweetened and iced. Will definitely buy more to have on hand.

This was in my communitea box for today. I'm not sure I got a good sampling of the tea in my little bag, because it smells mildly of peach but has zero flavor. Just tastes like a nice, mild oolong to me.

What a yummy, juicy, fruity tea. Really loved this one. The oolong tea is very smooth, and a little rich, toasty and nutty. The peach flavoring tastes nice and is not too strong. It has a fantastic sweet aroma. There is a nice body to the tea and just enough astringency at the finish to keep it from being cloying. Definitely getting more of this one!

The smell of this tea is very juicy and peachy. The taste is somewhat less peach heavy--a nice balance between the oolong and peach flavors. The tea is a bit tannic though, so be careful not to steep too long.

Okay, so normally, I wouldn't have bothered brewing a peach-flavored tea hot and I would've just defaulted to doing it cold, but since this is for the CommuniTEA, I wanted to try both ways. That said, I hot brewed it as per the instructions, tasted it, and then continued to sip at it over the next few hours as it cooled.

Hot, the flavor is a little mild for me but that's no surprise for a peach tea. It's there, but just so subtle that if I didn't know going into it what flavor it was, I might have had a tough time identifying it.

As it cooled, the flavor strengthened and by the time it was completely cold, it was very clearly a peach tea, and tasty at that!

It's okay hot, but I'm definitely a bigger fan of it cold. Super good!

Not a huge fan of peach flavors but since it was the tea of the day I of course tried it. Overall I think it was alright. the peach flavor is not overwhelming which is good for me but maybe not for people who are looking for a strong peach tea.

★★★★☆

Wonderful smell, nice peachy flavor. It's much better with two drops of sweetener than without - the peach flavor really shines when the tea is a bit sweeter and cooler. 'Cold soup', as they say in China! (4 mins @ 195, 2 drops EZ-Sweetz)

Tasting along with the CommuniTEA: I noticed strong peach scent on the dry ingredients. When steeped for 2:40 minutes at 190° F, I get lovely peach and honey tea notes on the nose. When I take a sip, nice round and soft, earthly tannins from the oolong, followed by sweet, fruity peach on the finish.

Simple, yet delicious. The oolong and peach compliment each other really well, and while it has a mellow vibe, the flavor is strong (and not overly fake). This was one of the first Adagio teas I tried. I loved it then, and I love it now. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 3 min @ 195F)

i'm not a fan of peach flavored teas as i feel they all have a canned peach taste. However the peach
in this oolong wasn't too strong just not my thing, in general i don't like fruity teas but this wasn't bad.

A bit of sunshine in a cold winter. Smells like a peach orchard and tastes a bit like one too. Would be better even iced!

This slightly peach-flavored tea is a nice sip. The oolong tea base is the main flavor here and a smokey taste makes its way through occasionally. The peach essence remains in the background and becomes more noticeable as the tea cools or when sweetener is added. I used honey for a second tasty cup. There is an appley/peach tang in the aftertaste and a pleasant amount of astringency at the finish. I made 3 resteeps which allowed the oolong flavor to mellow nicely for a truly smooth sip. Because of its slightly fruity flavor, it may be a good one to try iced.

Today’s communiTea reminds me spring is on it’s way! That’s what I got pairing, my love of toasty oolong tea, and ripe peaches together, as it steeped. Each sip covered my tongue with a rich, toasty flavor followed by hints of peaches and a mild sweetness. Enjoyed this cuppa tea hot this morning but looking forward to trying as an iced tea this summer. (steeped 3mins @195F)

One of my absolute favorites! So peachy and delicious! Wonderful iced, I buy the cold brew packs because they’re so convenient.

2/25/21 CommuniTea Update:
The tea in the small packet seems to have less peach flavor than the tea In larger bags. Could just be my packet. I still enjoy it very much.

Really Really good tea. Almost no astringency. Really smooth and a very dark rich flavor. Basically, I sit over my boat sipping my tea and there is a friendly dolphin just swimming by around my boat taking laps around just being a playful dolphin. That dolphin would not be able to fully excel without the vast ocean surrounding it. And for good reason since the oolong is really good by itself and the peach just adds a nice cherry on top. 195 F @ 3 min.

With all the peach teas we’ve sampled this month, I was less than excited for yet another. Well, I’m eating my words along with a wonderful cup of peach oolong! As I opened my packet, a lovely peach aroma met my nose. There was a healthy portion of beautiful curly oolong leaves, waiting to unfurl. Steeped at 194° for 3 minutes, the tea aroma became a bit more complex, peachy and leafy. Tasting the fresh brew the tea flavor is mild and earthy, with a small tease of the peach flavor. Adding a 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and a touch of cream and the peach hint becomes a full peach kiss. Once that combo is reached, the resulting cup becomes perfection-a beautiful balance of mellow, rich tea and a hint of peach perfection. The peach never overpowers the elegant oolong, but glides gracefully side by side. For me, this is not a “peach tea”, but a delightful oolong enhanced by the kisses of a ripe peach. I think it would be delightful as a summer iced brew.

Darkly oxidized oolong tea and marigold threads were noted in my communiTEA packet this morning. I didn’t notice any fruit pieces. Peach aromas were mild.

I stopped my steep when several tea leaves started falling to the bottom of my inginuiTEA steeper. Several teeny fruit pieces were noted at steep completion. I couldn’t determine if they were apple or peach bits.

When hot, mild roasted pecan nut flavors were noted. Peach flavors were mild. I added some sugar in hopes of intensifying fruit flavors.

When warm, nut flavors moderated. Moderate raisin flavors surfaced. Moderate peach flavors were noted.

A moderate astringency was noted towards finish. A second steep was pleasantly mild in flavors with a very mild and acceptable amount of astringency. (3 mins @ 190ºF, ⅜ tsp sugar)

This is a great tea. The oolong itself is deep, savory, and rich, and the peach flavor is vibrant and juicy. The marigold flowers add a beautiful touch. It brews well through the third steep and makes a phenomenal iced tea. I still have a juicy peach aftertaste 15 minutes after finishing my cup which leaves me looking for more. The tea to flavor ratio is just perfect here - fruitier than Adagio's black peach or rooibos peach, more tea taste than the white peach, more depth than peach Bellini - to me, a more enjoyable combination overall than the other flavored oolongs on the site. I usually prefer lighter oolongs and floral teas, and there is one peach blossom oolong from another vendor which rivals this as an iced tea, but besides that, this tea leaves all competition behind.

The Oolong and Peach played together nicely. The peach flavor was natural and not artificial at all. I enjoyed this tea. However, I would enjoy this tea even more in the summertime. This would make a perfect hot tea to enjoy with my morning breakfast out on the patio before the day gets too hot. Or maybe as an iced tea later in the afternoon.
