Has a bit of a bitter taste, but super delicious. Not a fan of the vanilla flavor but that’s just my taste

I like this tea. It's got a great scent coming out of the bag, and once it's in your cup it has a nice maple flavor -- sweet but not overly so. I can tell it's artificial maple but it's not bad-artificial. To me, this is what I want out of a sweet-tasting tea.

★★★★★

Great to pair with any meal in the fall, especially breakfast! The oolong tea leaves a very smooth finish, complemented nicely by the maple flavor and warming spices!

The maple was overpowering. Anyone who like maple would definitely like this tea. GOOD but not for me

I reallllly wanted to love this one, and I came close to liking it. But the cinnamon is overwhelming with this blend. It comes across less as warming and more as something almost sour. Cinnamon does that for me sometimes when it's the strongest note.

If you don't mind the cinnamon you'll likely enjoy this tea.

Made for 5 minutes at 92c. The tea is okay-ish, but I personally didn't like it as much as the other teas I tried.

★★★★★

By far the best! The sweet flavors make me so ready for the fall season. I would even say it is autumn in a cup!

★★★★☆

I was really excited to try the maple creme oolong, but there isn't much maple to detect. The aroma is there, but it gets lost somewhere before the tongue.

★★★★★

Love the sweet flavor definitely a new favorite of mine.

Quickly became one of my all time favorite teas. Very difficult to oversteep (excellent for someone who forgets about a cup like I sometimes do!) and has a lovely, creamy flavor with or without added sugar. The maple scent and flavor is very strong, but not overpowering.

My new daily tea. I alternate with Peach oolong for my morning tea and it just makes me happy. On a chilly morning, it is sublime!

★★★★★

Sweet and fragrant and perfectly fall. The smell from the bag is heaven! I love this as an evening treat tea, it doesn't need any sugar but you could add a touch of milk if wanted.

★★★★★

This tea smells and tastes like fall. I adore it. I even like to drink it on hot summer days when I really yearn for fall. I always have some available in my tea cabinet. I love adding honey and a splash of half and half.

★★★★★

For whatever reason, this tea reminds me of baklava in a cup. It’s a great afternoon tea for when you need a pick me up or to curb a sweet tooth!

A lovely maple flavor - not overpowering just right. I know it blends well too but alone it is a keeper for me. CT 9/26/2023 but gifted in Dec and June too.

A definite maple scent and flavor. I liked this brew! Perfect for a fall day 🍂

I enjoyed the creamy maple aroma and taste. I wish it was a bit stronger on the maple. I added a teaspoon of maple syrup to sweeten it.

At first, it smells like a literal bottle of maple syrup when you open the packet, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too sweet when I brewed it! (175 F for 8 minutes). This was a nice time to try every once in the autumn season (I normally enjoy green teas).

Very tasty; smooth and sweet but not cloyingly so. Smells as delicious as it tastes.

I’m going to a log cabin with the family this fall. They all need to try this! It’s a cabin in the woods tea.

There have been a lot of these cakey flavored teas the last couple of weeks. The first 1 or two I thought were good, not great. Now they're starting to get tiresome. This one was a little better, but just doesn't stand out of the crowd of the other similar tasting teas.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2023: This is a delicious tea that I like very much. What does it for me is the maple flavoring. Often for me, oolongs tend to be lighter than I like, but this one is very enjoyable - probably due to the added maple flavoring. I strongly suggest that you give it a try.

Maple is not my staple; but oolong is.
Oolong is my favorite tea; it can do no wrong. Even blending it with a sweet maple flavor did not diminish my love for the O. The maple actually adds to the toastiness of the oolong, creating a cozy cup perfect for autumn mornings. I did not pick up on the the creme flavor until the cool down, but no matter, it wasn't missed. Another outstandingly delicious oolong.

Maple candy aroma exploded from the packet. I had a single clove, perfect number for me. I drank it while it was still too hot and didn't get much maple flavor. After cooking, there was a pleasant lingering maple flavor. The second steeping was better for me, longer at a lower temp, and had more complex flavor.

This one I already knew I liked; very fragrant and very dessert -y. I love all things maple. Def add sweetener.

Steeped longer than suggested at a lower temperature brought out all the flavours noted in the ingredients list. Upon adding a teaspoon of pure maple syrup, the flavours exploded and danced in my mouth.
A great dessert tea. This is one I will surely need to add to my collection.

Though the smell of maple is strong in this tea, the aroma belies the flavor. The maple flavor adds a subtle natural sweetness to this tea but doesn’t overwhelm the oolong. Instead, more savory flavors come to the forefront. Please don’t mistake my meaning, though. This tea isn’t savory the way green teas can be; rather, cinnamon and spice notes provide a deep backdrop for the toasty, nutty, almost herbal notes of the oxidized oolong. The maple lingers in the nose, but doesn’t coat the tongue the way real maple syrup does, and the aroma doesn’t seem to fade, the maple notes are less pungent in a second infusion, highlighting the darker spice and toasted nut notes more. For a flavored oolong, this tea has lots of complexity, but it’s still not one I would see myself reaching for regularly. (3+ minutes @ 190F)

Update 9/26/23 as a communitea sample. I was thrilled to see this in the lineup. Loved it as much as the first time I had it.

I am not an expert taster, I usually just know if I like something, and this one I really liked, The cinnamon and cloves gave it a little bit of a Chai vibe, the creme and maple gave it a mellow fall vibe, I will sip this one again, yum

A perennial favourite, this tea is a staple in our house. We are huge fans of maple anything, and the aroma is delectable. The oolong is a nice base for the blend, giving it a roastiness that complements the maple really nicely. Can never get enough of this tea. Steeped 5 min @ 195º.

UPDATED from 10/29/21: What a wonderful sweet smell of maple as the CommuniTEA packet is opened. It steeps (at a slightly lower temp) into a lovely burnt orange color. I suspect that the oolong is a roasted one, as this has a light nutty taste, that is creamy and smooth, thanks partly to the creme flavor added. The tea is nicely balanced, because even though the cinnamon flavor is the strongest, the cloves and cardamom do kick in to linger into the finish, which is clean. Adding 1/4 teaspoon of sweetener makes this malty sweet and spicy - a lovely dessert tea, for early in the evening, as it has moderate caffeine. Adding heavy whipping cream weakens the spice flavors too much for my palate. This is a versatile oolong, and with the sweet, nutty flavors it is a keeper! (4 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener)

Ok, this should be called Maple Spice, not Maple Crème, it's rather misleading. Aside from my nostrils and tastebuds shock, the blend is really quite nice. I would definitely drink this again, and I'm glad I've had the chance to try it since I blend with it quite a bit. Though now, I'll have to account for the spice.

Pleasantly surprised! I was expecting overwhelming maple flavor and sickly sweetness, but this tea is not that at all. The maple was present but subtle. The creme added a nutty quality and mellowed everything out with the spices, so I could still enjoy the earthy oolong. Definitely recommend! You could add a bit of maple syrup to sweeten, but it isn’t required.

Good, but nothing terribly stand-out, for me. My boyfriend noted that it does indeed smell like maple, but the taste wasn't very strong.

I love maple, but here the cinnamon is out of place in my opinion. It takes over the blend, and I was really hoping for more of a creamy maple tea based on the name.
