This tea is so delicious and does indeed have a maple creme profile while still tasting like delicious oolong!
We've blended the smooth clean taste of oolong with the subtle sweet flavor of maple and rounded it all off with a hint of creme.

This tea is so delicious and does indeed have a maple creme profile while still tasting like delicious oolong!
It's a little lighter on the maple flavor than I thought it would be but I can still definitely taste it. I thought I'd be mixing this into a chai but it has just enough spice in it that it's excellent on it's own. I really enjoy this tea! When had with sugar and cream, the flavor reminds me a bit of a certain French toast flavored cereal from my childhood. It doesn't get bitter or taste metallic if you over-steep it a little, which is nice for forgetful people like me - in fact, the maple flavor comes out more!
Pleasantly surprised in this tea. I tried the sample size and ordered more the next time I was on the site.
This is pretty good, but nothing special like I was hoping it would be. The maple flavour is very artificial and reminds me of instant oatmeal.
It smelled like a punch in the nose with maple extract when the packet was opened, but brewed up into a very subtle and nice tea. It had a light fragrance and a very warm flavor, great with a dash of agave and cream. Held up to three (consecutively longer) brewings.
Very nice. Warm and comforting. I was very surprised how much it tasted like the Maple Cream cookies we had in Toronto.
This was super sweet, it tasted like pancakes and may be good as a breakfast tea with sausage and eggs.
Love it! I can really taste the maple cream in the tea. I use milk and sweetner to bring out the distinct flavors. Perfect for the morning or after dinner.
Love this tea! It has a lot of flavor - you can taste the maple and the cinnamon. It is sweet (which I like) and is a great breakfast tea to have with pastries or muffins.
Very taste -- I love those maple flavors, with a slight burn quality.
Great maple flavor! Nice for dessert and smells so good from the second you open the package.
I was not overly impressed by this tea - the flavor is definitely there with the maple, though!
I was sort of disappointed with this one, especially because I voted for it. When I opened the bag, there was no hint of maple, just the oolong, and I felt the same way when I made a cup, all I could taste was the oolong, the Maple and Creme flavors were non-existent. After a few equally disappointing cups, I decided to use the rest of my sample for an iced tea. As an iced brew, I could taste a hint of maple flavor that I couldn t discern before, and with a bit of sweetener and milk (to boost the still non-existent creme), it actually was a good cup. However, I don t think I ll be keeping this one in my tea cupboard.
I have to agree with another reviewer. I liked the scent more than the flavor. There wasn't much maple or cream flavor.
This tea is really good, in addition to the maple, it has a slightly nutty taste to it.
As a fan of apple and flavored oolongs, I enjoyed this, but the maple should be more prominent for something called maple creme .
Okay, I love maple things and so I had to try this but I was a little dubious, particularly after first opening the bag and getting hit with such a strong smell. But it was amazing! Subtly but distinctly maple flavored and a little nutty but not so that it kills you if you oversteep it.
This tea has skyrocketed to the top of my favorites list! A must try for sure!
This tea is just the right amount of sweet. I have to disagree with some of the other reviews and say that the maple flavor is both prominent and delightful. And don't get me started on the aroma... Spoiler alert: it's AMAZING. The sweet smell of maple is seductive enough to actually make me crave pancakes.
This tea has earned a permanent home in my cupboard.
Surprisingly sweet notes even without sugar and honey added. Will recommend
This is a standard, warm, interesting tea. It didn't blow my socks off but it's also unlike anything I've had before. There are some mornings where I crave it and others where I think, 'meh.'
I m sad to say this did not live up to the hype. The maple flavor is that fake overpowering maple, not the subtle sweetness I was hoping for. The oolong is decent, but that gross maple flavor overpowers it.
A little too sweet and syrupy for my tastes but not a bad tea overall.
A naturally sweet tea by itself. Tried it first hot and steeped for about 5 mins and found that the maple notes were mostly an after taste and the spices like cardamom overpowered most of it. Barely if ever tasted the cream notes. It tasted less like an oolong and more like a chai masala tea. Then I cold brewed it overnight and now I can definitely taste the strong notes of maple and a subtle hint of spice in the tea. I find it less overpowering. Still pretty good and definitely is a good dessert tea for those who like to live on the sweeter side of life.
The maple scent of this is amazing! The flavor is milder, and I like the undernotes of cream.
Unusual - that sums it up. The cloves & cardamom definitely makes the maple added interesting. It's reminiscent of a pecan pie. Actually, this would be a good cookie, like a maple ginger cookie. Can't taste the oolong in this blend, more the spices. I add plain black, like Scottish &/or Darjeeling to this blend on some occasions & it's delicious! So, if you like chai teas, then you might want to try this blend. As for the cream part, i can't taste the creaminess in this blend, more the maple spices. But if you want more cream, just add creme powder to it.
I ve been looking for a new breakfast tea, and this seemed like a good candidate. I love all things maple, so I thought I d give it a shot. The creme flavor overpowers any maple flavor. It s way too sweet even without sweetener. I ll finish my sample, but it looks like I need to continue my search for a breakfast tea.
A little bit over-sweet for my taste; the maple flavor had an odd aftertaste. But if you like sweet, this is the oolong for you!
This is one of the teas that go great with a little bourbon honey. Excellent fall morning tea
This tea smells heavenly when I open the bag, but I was a little disappointed in the flavor. I didn't taste much maple flavor at all.
I love it! I am admittedly biased because maple is one of my most favourite tasting notes, and oolong is my favourite type of tea. :)
I got some serious autumn spice vibes from this dessert-y blend. I felt that there were strong maple and vanilla notes, but nothing overwhelming.
Pretty good? Doesn t really taste like maple or cream or oolong
As an overall cup of tea, it's pretty solid, but in terms of being a 'maple creme' tea, it falls short of the mark. Then again, with the first two ingredients (other than tea) being apple pieces and cinnamon bark, it's going to make any semblance of maple be more of a hint. It's not an overly sweet tea (which might actually be more appealing to some people), and it has a very gentle spice to it. Like I said, it's not a bad cup of tea at all. I just expected more of that sweet, maple flavor, and that's why I'm only giving 3 stars.
This tea is one of my favorites. Sweet and creamy just like te description but without overpowering the flavor that oolong holds on its own. A wonderful compliment to the tea itself.
Splendorous Oolong- nothing needs to be added to this tea! It is SO smooth on its own!
I like how subtle the maple flavor is. Personally, I think maple can be overwhelming but this tea managed to keep the flavor just right. I really liked this oolong.
Out of the 14 teas in our first order, this was the first one we tried. When you open the bag, it's the most lovely stickysweet caramel maple scent! After brewing, the taste is a nice woodsy, rich black tea with hints of caramel, vanilla and maple, not as overwhelming as you'd think from the fragrance. After the initial taste alone, we enjoyed it with Italian Sweet Creamer, which made it completely decadent! This is also wonderful added to a blend of hazelnut, almond, caramel, and vanilla, for a deeply rich treat!
The smell is very nice, but the maple flavor gets completely lost. It's still an okay oolong, though.
This was not a pleasant one for me. I wish I could be more specific but this was my first Oolong and it might simply be that this variety does not mesh with my current tastes.
Smells great, but too subtle in flavor. The oolong is solid, but the maple fades in the brewing.
This tea is wonderful. I prefer my tea strong so I steeped 2 tsp/cup to really get the oolong flavor. The maple flavor is subtle, but noticeable.
Tried this on a whim.. Surprisingly was quite delicious.. especially in the deep freeze we have going on right now..
I love oolong, and I love maple, so I was excited to try this tea. It's good, but it was difficult for me to taste the oolong through the maple flavor. That seems like a waste of oolong for me, so I can't give this the full 5 stars. Great for maple lovers!
I ordered this tea out of pure curiosity and I am very happy that I did. Just enough maple flavor to give the tea a robust taste without overwhelming the Oolong.
Very good maple flavor, and it s not over-powering!
Not too sweet, makes an excellent tea latte. Nice as a treat.
Nice tea base. Maple flavor blends well. Nice cup.
I'm an oolong purist, but, I admit, I was curious. The smell from the pouch wasn't too syrupy, so that bolstered my confidence. It had a light maple flavor and still the woodsy aftertaste of the oolong. Pretty decent- I'd buy it again.
This stuff smells amazing and tastes just as good! You hardly need any sweetener at all.
Kind of gross. I thought the maple creme would be subtle but it smells like a bowl of ice cream which i'm not looking for with a cup of tea.
What a lovely oolong tea. Adding some brown sugar or maple syrup as a sweetener really helps bring out the maple flavor.
