The maple flavour in this is so shockingly mild that if you didn't tell me that it was Maple Creme flavoured I never would have been able to guess it. It's not sweet like you'd expect - when I think maple I think something so sweet that it instantly makes your teeth ache. The cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and safflower make this more of a savory tea than a sweet one; again, not what I expected from this at all, though not a bad thing. This is a tasty blend! The oolong itself is very smooth, and is absolutely the most prominent flavour. If you're a fan of oolong teas, all the added trappings only serve to add very subtle dimension to it without overpowering it.

This is a very interesting tea. I don’t taste maple. To me, this smells like curry. It is really tasty. I like it a lot.

Obsessed with this one. Utterly delicious and definitely tastes like maple. I like mixing it with masala and cream.

I feel like this tea could use some refining. they've got a good base here but like a lot of Adagio teas it seems the tea is scented more than it is flavored as the smells from the dry leaf don't transfer to the liquor.

This is definitely one of those oolongs you don't want to waste any time drinking the first cup with. There's really nothing about the first cup that tastes very good. The second cup however has a very nice maple and cinnamon flavor.

One of my very favorite teas. An afternoon treat with just a little milk and honey.

Perfect for the fall season! Might just be the one to dethrone the ubiquitous pumpkin spice!

I love creamy Oolong teas however this one was too creamy. I think it just tasted heavy and not what I had imagined.

So yummy! I love black tea and Adagio has great ones!

This smelled and tasted like breakfast, which, kinda brilliant, but I didn't taste the maple as much as i'd have liked. really good though.

The flavor was a little strong for me when brewed hot, but I discovered it makes a delicious iced milk tea.

The flavor is weak and artificial. It smells more like oatmeal than maple, unfortunately. I brewed at double strength for as long as recommended, and I still didn't achieve the flavor strength or color I was hoping for. It's drinkable, though - just not my favorite.

nicely sweet, but a little on the weak side. even more maple flavor would be good here, but next time I might try adding a bit of maple syrup as a sweetener

Maple comes out strong in this tea, a little stronger than the oolong itself. I would have liked a little more emphasis on the oolong and cream portion of the tea. Still overall a good tea.

I have been experimenting recently with oolong teas and found this one to be absolutely decadent! It reminds me of having French toast.

It has a somewhat savory taste that I wasn't expecting. I'll see if it's better in a blend.

Of the dessert style teas this is one of my favorites. Sweet, smooth, and buttery.

A little cloying (sticky sweet) but then it s maple, so I suppose that is to be expected. Still really good, a nice treat to relax with when you need that extra sugar rush in the mornings. Reminds me of camping.

I found the maple flavor to be quite subtle in this tea. It's actually quite appealing and not at all overpowering as I worried. My one complaint is that sometimes the cinnamon seems to drown out the maple flavor. Overall, it's a lovely tea though and perfect for cool fall days.

The tea tasted like a cup full of maple flavored chemicals. Will not buy again.

This is one those exactly what it says on the tin sorts. Tastes like maple syrup and creme. Great with stevia!

Not my favorite. I was expecting only flavors of oolong, maple, and creme, but there's a lot more going on in this tea than that. It's not for me, but if you're interested in all the flavors it's a good choice.

It smells like a sugar shack and tastes like a warm, flannel hug. Highly recommended.

This is my new favorite tea. The maple flavor compliments the oolong perfectly. Be sure to try this one!

The maple comes through as more of an after taste, if you sweetened it with maple syrup it would obviously go very well. Not too spicy, more of a subtle creme but still a nice dessert tea. Or morning tea with pancakes or waffles!

I ve mostly been using this for blending, but it gives anything a nice, sweet but not too sweet touch of maple. I am currently having it with Scottish Breakfast and it is AMAZING.

This was really good! I also tried it mixed with the Banana Nut Bread Honeybush. It's very comforting and goes great with breakfast.

By far, one of the best teas we have had from Adagio thus far. It's name is a good description of how lovely it is. The oolong was sweet and spicy, and the maple...oh my goodness, it came through in the cup like the star of the show...this is a must have on my shelf all of the time!

Delicious! The maple paired nicely with the toasty oolong, giving it a sweet note. Very smooth and easy to drink.

This is one of the sweetest teas I've tasted from Adagio. It definitely tastes like maple creme and reminds me of fall. My husband and son loved this tea.

very nice mild flavor and very smooth! It's been years since I've had oolong but it did not disappoint! And the hint of cinnamon is also nice so it smells like french toast :)

As a New England girl, I know my maple. I have to say, that this tea has a real maple flavor that s hard to beat. Great for a cool spring morning, or for any time you want a like natural sweetness to your tea.

I love maple, and I love oolong! I do wish that they would make a maple black tea that I can give to my mom. She really only likes black tea (and flavored black tea).

This is incredibly sweet on its own, it smells strongly of maple syrup but doesn’t brew as strong (thank goodness, it would be waaaay too sweet if that were the case)

I can see why some people might wish the maple was stronger, but I think it's pretty tasty as is. Not super sweet and lightly spicy. It smells fantastic.

I love this with a little sweetener and cream. Very soothing. Reminds me of Sunday morning waffles with real maple syrup.

This may replace Earl Grey Bravo as my favorite tea! Good taste from the maple, without being overpowering.

Yum! This tea was a very pleasant surprise. It sounded good just the way it was, but what the name doesn t tell you is that it has delicious apples in it to cut the sweetness a little. It s absolutely wonderful and I ll be getting more of this ASAP!

I haven t tried this one yet but one of my roommates did. She is relatively new to loose leaf tea and had never had an oolong before. She thought it was a green tea by its liquor color until I explained about oolongs and what they are. She stated that the maple flavor was too subtle in the plain tea, but that adding sugar brought it out and made it very tasty. Knowing her as someone who likes her tea VERY sweet, I expect that I will like it just fine plain. :P It certainly smells great, somehow woodsy in a suggestive rather than blatant way as well as sweet and maple-y. It brings to mind s mores and camping trips. Probably not one we ll ever need to buy a large package of, but definitely good enough to buy again just based on her reaction.

I've tried a few different temperatures for steeping this one, but I can't get much flavor from it. My mom tried it with milk and sugar and enjoyed it.

Great for breakfast. Nice maple taste. Goes well with eggs or pancakes

really like this tea and it's subtle maple flavor. enjoy it after dinner with a little cream and in place of a dessert.
