Very delicious darker roasty oolong; suits my palate better than oolong 40 for a better price.
A darker oolong tea from Taiwan, formerly known as Formosa (which means 'Beautiful'). Deep raisiny and ripe fruit aroma, autumn 'leafy' note. The lingering flavor and smooth, refreshingly fruity astringency and a lovely introduction to Taiwanese tea.

Very delicious darker roasty oolong; suits my palate better than oolong 40 for a better price.
My first venture into oolong and I didn't find it very yummy.
Every bit as good as #12, just not as cool to watch. Delicous taste.
Adagio calls this tea a wonderful introduction to Formosa oolongs, but I'm glad it wasn't mine, or I might not have been back. In all fairness, it's a very good tea in it's own right - just not what I was looking for in an oolong. It's fairly bold and leans towards a black tea, while I tend to favor the more delicate and crisp oolongs.
Im not a oolong connoisseur but this is a great tasting. Very smooth and flavorful.
I love the toasty, sweet flavor of this oolong. It is one of my favorites for a morning cup of tea.
Very mild. I don't know if it's good for oolong, but I think I like black better than oolong.
This tea I found to be very similar to some Wuyi rock oolongs as it is a heavy roast that has a strong charcoal taste to it.
a very relaxed tea, it's the kind you brew on slow afternoons or with dinner
Nice, flavorful oolong. Right price, great value.
I really enjoy this tea. This tea is a good tea to drink every morning. Oolong #8 mixes well with some black teas. yummy!
Strong bark-like flavor. Not my cup, but my sister prefers it.
I've been neglecting oolong because it's so expensive, but really? It's so special. You can rebrew lots and it's still good.
I'm kind of new to tea, other than the grocery store tea bag style, and didn't know what to expect with the different numbered Ooolongs. #8 is great for someone wanting a bold tasting Oolong in my opinion.
This is a darker oolong with a more robust flavor.
Oolong #8 is a darker oolong that has a 'baked' quality mixed with a pleasant sweetness. The tea growers sweeter with each infusion and makes one of the best 'sun teas' I have ever had.
heavier flavor, more robust. Definitely not a delicate tea, but still good
This is usually my second cup of tea everyday. It's great!
My boyfriend's favorite tea! A clean flavor with a distinct mellow finish.
Typical Chinese restaurant tea, a bit toasty and woody if one-dimensional, makes a hearty cup.
This is a great everyday oolong & one that is a staple in my tea drawer. It also blends nicely w/some of the flavored oolongs & makes great iced tea.
a decent oolong. not anything to get particularly excited about, but ah well
I like this one adn #40 the best for all the oolongs I've tried!
I've wanted to get into oolong but due to the price I started with this one. Good, but I expect the more expensive oolongs to be bit better, which I will try.
Interesting taste. Not the greatest of oolongs but still good.
pretty good but had a metallic aftertaste for me but it may have been the strainer? Otherwise the scent was delicious - like the heavy aroma of roasted chestnuts! Taste was mediocre; it wasn't strong enough to stand out.
Similar to the Oolong #40 for me just not quite as good. The tea is just a little less sweet which results in a slightly less good drink
This oolong was okay. However, I prefered oolong #40 and oolong #18.
Pretty good although I could not say that this ooling was better then any other oolong I have had
A little too malty for my likes, but I can see why some might like it.
This was the first oolong tea I tried and it is o.k. but not something I would drink alot.
This is a wonderful and fragrant, mild tea. It is much like any oolong, a cross between black and green with regard to its potency. Oolongs are not for everybody, but if you are a fan of green teas then this is a good step toward oolongs.
This was the first regular (well non flavored or store bought)Oolong tea that I have bought and thought it was a little boring incomparison to its falvored varieties. Might just be me, I like fruit and natural sweetness.
a really good tea, smooth but want a little more flavor, will try #40 this time
Just not very exciting. It might be my brewing, but just doesn't interest me.
Very nice, mild tea. Doesn't overpower your taste buds.
This oolong really hit the spot when I had my oolong craving. It may not be the highest quality, but it's definitely worth the price.
This is a good tea, there is nothing wrong with it but it was nuttier than I like. I've found that I prefer Wuyi and this is nothing like Wuyi.
MMM...oolong. I've only tried a couple of varieties of oolong, but every one I've had has been great. This #8 is no exception!
this tea is very simple, like a light black tea but nothing special. there are better oolongs here that are more worth you time.
My fist oolong and I think I like it. It's a good change of pace from blacks.
This is a good, traditional oolong tea. It is a great everyday oolong.
I love oolong teas and this one did not disappoint. I could have it at any time of the day, but I love it in the late afternoon or evening to unwind.
Not a favorite and I probably won't order it again.
A very dependable oolong. My favorite afternoon tea.
This is what they serve in Chineese Restaurants. But unlike the other Black and Oolong teas I've tried, Oolong #8 requires more leaves in your infuser for the flavor. And these leaves do not swell up nearly as much as the other teas I've mentioned. Like that restaurant tea? You'll love this!
I'm not sure about this one. I didn't really like it at first. It's a little earthy, which I don't know if I like. I tried it again last night though & it wasn't bad. Maybe it's growing on me.
Favorite of the Oolongs I've tried so far. A great tea to mix with fruit herbals and/or lemongrass for nice blends.
My favorite oolong by far. Not too green or grassy.
This one is always a pleaser...I find this variety of oolong to be better than varieties from other vendors.
