Awesome, but possibly too strong Almond flavor for some people. Smooth and lovely. Tastes almost like almond milk and light oolong tea mixed together. Absolutely delicious.
This tea is absolutely amazing hot OR cold. I honestly think I prefer it cold better, but I am a huge fan of iced teas!
This is my favorite flavored oolong. Tried a sample of it, and knew I had to order a larger bag right away. Absolutely delicious marzipan flavor. I start missing it the moment my mug is empty.

I'm usually a fan of almond flavored teas, but something was just a bit strange about this one.
I'm new to the nuances of oolong tea, but I love the sweet cookie flavor I get from this without needing any milk or sugar, enjoy that I can get a solid 4 steeps or so from it, and that the balance is just about perfect in the second or third brew.
Love the almond flavor in this oolong. But for a different taste, I'll mix with coconut pouchong

I really liked this one. It's got a good, nutty taste. It's a bit on the strong side but add a little sugar and it compliments the almond taste well.
If you like the taste of almonds, you'll love this tea. The oolong is a stronger tea than an herbal but its great mid-day. Since I like a strong tea I brew it a minute longer than the suggested 5 minutes but I am still able to make 2 cups from the same measurement. This is one I would buy again.
Strong aroma but nicely demure taste. I read that Oolong heals inflammation caused by reflux. Since my coffee and other tea consumption has been limited by this condition, let's hope it's true!

I know some other reviews say that this tea is better in a blend, and I'm here to say that for me, it was also unexpectedly better in a blend. First, I opened the little pouch and it smelled amazing--like Burt's Bees almond hand lotion. Then I brewed it and the taste was good, but much more subdued than the scent would leave me to believe. I then took a blend that was only so-so, and I added some Almond Oolong to it. Suddenly, I tasted a delicious almond flavor explosion! I thought it was strange that I could taste the almond more in a blend than on its own, but that's what happened to me.
This tea is amazing! I especially love its distinct finish--very reminiscent of a cherry cordial!

I chose this as my free sample and I'm really glad I did. It had me at 'marzipan' and I wasn't let down at all. I enjoyed it brewed for 5 minutes with a dollop of whole milk. It was rich, smooth, and had a delightful and in my opinion very present almond finish.

I enjoy oolong tea for that smoky? taste, so different from other black tea. The almond flavor is a nice complement to this smoky essence.
I love this tea. It's mellow and tastes wonderful with a little bit of sugar or honey. It doesn't taste like 'fake' almond either. For reference/comparison, I ordered the Hazelnut tea and I thought it tasted too chemically/fake.
This was my first loose tea experience- followed the directions as followed and had a wonderful cup of tea. I love the almond flavor this tea has. Also even before I brewed the tea I got a wonderful aroma from opening the bag that made my day.

Got this as a free sample with my first order and loved it. Wonderful scent, and a light, sweet flavor.
Sadly, the almond flavoring overpowered the gentle oolong flavor that I assume was underneath it...somewhere. Not bad tasting, but just more artificial tang than I like in my tea.
***Updated after several more brews: Actually, the flavors are much more balanced when brewed for a shorter period of time. Instead of the 3-5 minutes Adagio recommends, I tried 2 minutes and found the almond much less front and center. I could actually taste the oolong, an almost buttery smooth tea, and the result was a gentle, relaxing cup. Not a huge favorite, but nothing wrong with it, either.
I am so glad the salesman at the Chicago store gave me a sample of this tea. I love it! Had got order the giant size as a result...Perfect amount of almond with smoothness of oolong. It's like drinking a cookie!

Hands down, my favorite tea at Adagio. At our local Chinese food restaurant, they serve an oolong tea and give you almond cookies at the end of your meal. This tea tastes exactly like the result of dipping your almond cookies in the oolong. I love it!
I am a huge almond fan and this tea is delicious! It reminds me of Dutch Letter pastry and Swedish Almond cake. I sometimes add vanilla almond milk for a creamier treat. I also use this as a blend with a variety of other teas.

This might be one of the best-smelling teas I have ever encountered. Just opening the bag is an experience in itself. After you brew the tea, the almond aroma settles, and you get a nice balance of oolong and almond. You won't notice the added flavor too much, however, I see this as preferable, as you get a full-bodied tea taste with a nice hint of sweet almond.
I tried it for the first time this evening. It was a free sample with my order. Very good tea. Smooth with almond aroma and taste. Reminded me of Christmas cookies I used to bake. Will get more in a future order.
