love this tea... fragrant, yummy and so good when lightly sweetened
I was really excited for this tea, and it did not disappoint. The almond flavor is strong without overtaking that of the Oolong. This tea tastes natural and fresh, and is delicious with a little bit of cream and/or sugar.

This is exactly what it says on the tin--almond! It is very good and easily among my favorites. Then again, I like almond. This has become one of my favorites.
I don't know what else to say besides eh. It's okay. I think I was expecting more of a nutty flavor but it is definitely more marzipan than almond. Very sweet and not very naturally almond tasting. If you know what you're buying and love the taste of marzipan then this is the tea for you but if you're looking for more of a natural almond taste I'd avoid this one.

AC silky teen with a lovely bite of (almond) marzipan and not bitter. An easy go too tea and exellent with or after Asian cuisine. It is now a staple in our home.
Good oolong tea. Almond flavor blends with milk/cream well. Can also be drank without any milk or sugar. Not a very strong oolong.
I think I just found my new favorite tea!!! This smells like dessert and is smooth. The almond flavor is not overpowering and it cuts through some of the bitter earthiness of other oolongs. I opened my sample this morning and had to order more right away!
I bought a sample size of this tea to see how I would like it. I love it! Nice mild, nutty flavor. I will buy the full size with my next order!

This is so good. SO GOOD. I got it as a free sample with my first order, and I did NOT expect to enjoy it as much as I do. The flavor is...like a cross between black cherry and a sort of sweet, leafy molasses kind of taste, in the best way possible. It's very smooth, faintly sweet (and then I add two teaspoons of sugar), and really perfect to drink anytime.
I looooove this tea. It's absolutely perfect with a bit of honey and a splash of vanilla almond milk. I tried this and the peach oolong (which is also wonderful) and was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually prefer the almond. I'm not always a fan of almond flavored things, but Adagio hit the nail right on the head with this one. Will be buying in large quantities.

This tea smells so wonderful, and that nice almond smell really translates into the taste as well. Very smooth and delicious.
On its own I only felt so/so about this one. It had a nice flavor to start, but a bit of an aftertaste I didn't care for. I tried adding a sprig of mint from my garden to it though and that changed everything. With a bit of mint added in, it's become a favorite for when I want something light on caffeine.
It's so almondy! A great tea. Being an oolong, it's smoother and less dry than many of Adagio's other flavored black teas. It has a nice caffeine kick to it too.

I LOVE this tea! It smells like fresh marzipan and you can taste the almond. Oddly, while the tea is full bodied it is very smooth. Just be warned about over steeping.

This tea smells fantastic, but the flavor fell a bit short for my taste. I find it with a little bitter aftertaste, even after trying different strengths and steep times. I was hoping for something sweeter.

My favorite Adagio tea. Very full, well rounded flavor, lightly sweet. This is great after a meal. Also smells wonderful, has a warm flavor and scent.
Delicious - good hot with cream, or lightly sweetened and iced! The almond flavor is pronounced but not overwhelming.

Right now, with my first steep it smells like sweet almonds and tastes like marshmallow, I will add more tea leafs next time to see if I might get a stronger flavor, but even if I don't, I'm still in love with this tea. It is delicious. Definitely an marzipan flavor. And I also agree with Heather Smith.
Update: Actually, don't add more than like half or a little more than half a teaspoon, and definitely do not take the water to boiling point, Oolongs are delicate like Green and White, since Oolong is in between green and black, it's as delicate as Green.
This tea has a great combination taste of black tea and toasted almonds.
Oolong is a more delicate black tea. For me, the almond in this tea is overwhelming. I would have preferred it to be more subtle.
Tasty but almond flavor tastes a little too much like imitation flavoring. If you like that taste, you will probably like this. I expected more if a nutty taste.

I liked the smell of this one in the bag, but it didn't blow me away. I brewed it and gave it a try with nothing to sweeten it and no milk. It was ok. I'm not sure if it just grew on me, or if I just like it better cooled, but I do like this one better than I did at first sip. I still need to try it sweetened and with milk before I make a final decision. I would not be upset at getting another sample size, but it's not quite enough to make me want to drink it regularly.
Update: I tried some with milk and sweetener. I'm still going to leave it at good. I think I may not be a big fan of oolong. I would definitely drink it again, but I don't expect to purchase any for myself.

This is a great tea for those who love the flavor of almond. It's light and brisk in the way of oolongs, with just the right amount of almond. The smell while it's brewing is wonderful.
It reminds me strongly of amaretto liquor, obviously because of the almond element. No need to add sugar to it- tastes great all by itself.
I initially had this tea as a sampler, and just ordered a 3 oz container of it. This is my favorite oolong tea
Nice flavor. Makes a good base for fruit smoothies for a breakfast drink. I am not wild about most oolong a but this one is good.
