Was not ready for the excellence of this tea. Tasted like a good, go-to cup of breakfast tea with a side of wedding cake. Immediately coming back for more.
This was a new taste for me, I generally go for the fruit teas. I had this tea with a little almond milk and sugar. It was ok and glad I tried it. I really enjoy the sample sizes Adagio offers, it gives me a chance to try things I normally wouldn't.
The almond partners excellently with this quality oolong. I've had it both hot and iced, and it's very good both ways.

I tried almond oolong in a blend once, and though I liked it far more than I did. The tea is good quality, but if you aren t a lover of saccharine teas like me, I don t recommend this for you. But it is a great tea to make blends with!

The almond flavor really overwhelms the oolong in this one. The smell isn't quite as in-your-face-almond-extract as with the almond flavored ceylon tea, in fact it smells more like milk chocolate to me, but as flavors go, it's super almondy. That said, it adds a robust almond flavor to blends without making them too heavy. I just don't love it on it's own.
Little perfume smell but the flavor is amazing. I like it lightly sweetened.
Smells amazing...and that's where the enjoyment ends. After steeping you're left with brown hot water. All trace of almond, gone.
A very good oolong tea. I started drinking oolong because it is suppose to be good for your metabolism. This is the first Oolong tea I have really enjoyed!
The scent was ok, but the flavor seemed strange. The oolong tea & almond flavoring didn't seem to go well with each other.
I was hoping to like this one, but it has more of an almond and cardboard taste to it, rather than being a lighter almond-flavored tea. Not so bad that I didn't drink it though.

So refreshing and makes you feel so good! I discovered this tea about 3 years ago when I first visited Adagio Teas in Chicago. I'm a tea lover and I have never had Oolong tea like this before. I purchased a huge bag, and I'm still working on it till today.
This is another pleasant surprise. As I am getting to become a huge oolong fan I was skeptical at first with this one. Oolongs seem to take well to flavors if they are added with a light touch. It takes skill to provide a nice oolong with just the right amount of added flavor, I would say the essence of almond. Great job and what a nice treat. I would buy again.
Not my favorite but definitely very good. The strong smell of the dry leaves made me scared to try it but it didn't taste as strongly of almond as it smelled.

The almond flavor seems very artificial like the leaves are coated with an oil or something. It s not bad but can t drink too much of it.
Chemically, yet sweet smelling dry tea. Deep brown liquor with a sweet woody and nutty scent. The cup is smooth and subtle with almost no astringent floavor. This tea is sweet and reminds me of an almond pastry, perfect to accompany dessert.
Earthy smell. Taste is Earthy & Almond. Very nice. Of course I couldn't let it be. I had some coconut milk from quarantine coladas left over and when I added half a teaspoon, had a bit of a 'mounds' moment.

Oh yum. I have tried almond flavored tea in the past and did not like it. I don't like this tea either...I love it! Smells and tastes like almond paste, which I love. Decadent without the calories. I will be ordering more soon. The sample bag will not last long around me!

another awesome alternative to indulging in pastry (i don’t know about you, but no amount of being stuck at home will make me capable of making an almond croissant, and that’s just what this smells like), with bonus caffeine and delicious light, silky oolong mouthfeel.
Tastes strongly of Seven Layer Cookies, though there is almond paste in those. I like this, but can only have so much. Give me dessert vibes. Friends always like it though.
Almost overpowering almond flavor when you open the bag, but very little of that makes it into the cup. A nice oolong.
The smell of this tea is intoxicating and the taste is almost as delightful ( a little milder than the smell). I love this tea with just a touch of sweetener to bring out the almond.
Slightly sweet, added a little bit of honey to bring out more of the almond flavor. Would pair very well with some butter cookies, or some biscotti.
This is a great addition to my rather extensive tea collection. The almond flavor adds a sweetness that requires no additional sugar to feel that I am splurging.
This tea is good, but I prefer green teas. In addition, although Adagio sells quality teas, their customer service is HORRIBLE - as in they do not respond to emails or inquiries. If you need help you are out of luck because Adagio simply does not EVER respond. I don't know if this is due to hiring entitled, lazy employees, but it will definitely hurt Adagio in the long run to treat customers this way.
This is one of my all time favorite teas. The perfect afternoon cuppa and it goes brilliantly with cookies.

I haven't had a lot of Oolong teas, and the few times I had before they were mixed with black or green teas. I bought this on recommendation from a friend, and I am very glad I did. This was a very nice and comforting tea, perfect for a cold night in. The almond flavor is noticeable for sure, but it wasn't too much. I haven't tried with milk yet, as some have suggested, but I definitely plan to do so.
This tea smells so good! It reminds me of marzipan. It tastes nice and light with an almond flavor. It doesn't need any sweetener added, it is perfect as-is.
