I love this tea. If I make a cup at work, I need to be ready to slow down. The second I inhale the complex aroma, my whole body relaxes. Give it a try!
Green oolong tea from Ali Shan, one of Taiwan's most famous tea growing areas. Beautiful high mountain oolongs come from its misty peaks. Warm sugar and deeply layered floral aromas, with a melting, creamy mouthfeel. Mellow and light-bodied.

I love this tea. If I make a cup at work, I need to be ready to slow down. The second I inhale the complex aroma, my whole body relaxes. Give it a try!
Marvelous! Sweet, rich, and complex, with a hint of cinnamon at the start. I could drink this every day.
very good! I use 3 gm per cup, but i use the leaves 3 times total. loving it!
This was ok but I didn't love it. Gave it to a friend to enjoy.
Worth every penny--too bad I don't have enough pennies to buy this as often as I'd like. Oddly, I pick up fragrance elements that seem more vegetal than floral; they're not unpleasant, but rather reminiscent of drinking tea on the end of a pier over the ocean.
Very smooth, buttery texture. Trying to decide if I like this oolong or the jade oolong (which is less expensive) better. Have to do side by side comparison.
Great high mountain oolong! It's like drinking drinking liquid butter!! So good... The nectar of the GODS!!!
Love how light this one is, with some floral hints as you finish your sip.
Not a huge fan of this tea. The taste just seems off and it's very weak. I brewed this for an extended period to try to bring out flavor but it just was very weak.
I really really wanted to like this but it just wasn't for me. Maybe there is something wrong with my taste buds but this was just blah and kind of bland
One of my favorites! love the taste, especially when the tea is lukewarm
Delicaye oolong with grass, flowers and minerals, goodfor multi infusions
Good green tea, that's all what I can say about it. Special? - No!
The perfect breakfast tea. I get a little pick me up out of one cup. The tea leaves are all curled up and unfurl as you pour on the water. I am able to get a second cup out of it that still has the same great flavor.
An excellent tea. Most jade teas seem to have a slightly bitter taste if steeped a long time. Not this one, excellent with honey.
This is my new replacement for Teavana's Monkey picked oolong. I think it is even smoother in flavor and gets better with each steeping. Have tried up to 4 steepings and still tastes great. The tea is excellent iced also. Very light and refreshing. No bitterness.
Just right mild oolong, great aroma. Another perfect light oolong for later in the day. Refreshing and relaxing.
Very smooth oolong. This tea has a silky finish and is one of my favorites. I steep for 3 minutes.
I just got more of this, I swear I did, but each time I'll open up the tin and wonder who drank all my tea. And it was always me and it only took a week or so.
I didn't like it as much as ti kuan yin, but as oolong, it is still very good and tasteful
I love it. Its difficult to describe. its like velvet across my tongue. Delightful. The only negative it that it is expensive. I felt that I could only get a second brew, the third was too weak. Regardless I will buy it again, but not as my everyday tea.
Sweet grass aroma before steeping and a nice medium flavor. I enjoy this one, just wish it was a little stronger.
Really green, really good. Honestly, I think I like the jade oolong better, though
Interesting oolong, quite a green result, almost malty-tasting. Needs plenty of space for the leaves to unfurl. I recommend doing 3 steepings and seeing how it changes over time.
I liked this tea. It's different than most green teas I've tasted.
Wonderful smooth and mellow. A rich but light tea. Very enjoyable.
The flavor is not quite my style but it is great to mix with flavors to give them an underlying smoky flavor.
light in color, complex and delicious. I like it.
I enjoyed this one, but not enough to drink it regularly.
First impression? What a /gorgeous/ color tea this made. What a rich, beautiful gold. Taste? Smooth, no astringency at all, floral but not overpowering. Very creamy mouthfeel. There's a reason everyone else agrees it's worth the price. Really nice.
An intoxicating scent with floral hints, followed by a creamy, absolutely delightful taste. I brewed this tea gong fu style, starting at only thirty seconds and extending the steeping time for each new infusion. By the third time it was positively buttery, with a satiny smooth mouthfeel.
What a great oolong tea-- it's sweet, delicate, and definitely worth the price!
A great, sweet tasting tea that is great to wake up to. Very smooth and relaxing to sip on.
creamy, milky, smooth. Really great green tea, worth the price.
Wonderful flavor. Sweet , refreshing . Would definitely buy again. Great anytime tea.
The sweet, creaminess of this tea is amazing. Will definitely order more.
My favorite green tea. It's perfect, I mix all my other green teas with herbal tea except this one. I can steep it 3 times and it's still wonderful!
Ali shan tea is a fantastic afternoon tea for my preference.
This tea was very nice. Surprisingly sweet and floral, with a good fragrance, almost of sugar cookies. Medium blond liquor, with a complexity and mouth feel that makes it a very good sipping tea, rather than a mindless morning cuppa. The flavors continue to mature and change through infusions, though still keeping the same delightful sweetness and smooth feel.
Good for multiple infusions, I did my sample for two minutes, three minutes and four minutes at 185F
This is a green tea I enjoy, in the afternoon. To myself it has a brisk finish. Just the best.
Great for multiple brewings. I brewed it 3 times with excellent flavor even after the third brew.
Best oolong tea I tasted. It can give you up to three different infusions all with different pleasant tastes.
VERY good! The only disappointment here is that I only ordered a sample.
tea had a hint of lemon taste to it and it was a bit creamy.
Nice, light green and floral bouquet. I was kind of surprised this version of ali shan wasn't in a vacuum sealed bag as other ali shan teas I've bought in the past. Did stand up to several infusions. I brewed the first infusion for 2 min at 195, then following infusions for 3 min at 195.
I've been trying different oolongs but don't think I quite have the ability to distinguish between them yet, since this reminded me an awful lot of the Ti Kuan Yin I just bought. The first steeping has a strong and sharp vegetal flavor, like a pushier version of the first steeping of Ti Kuan Yin. Although I didn't mind that too much, I liked the second steeping more. The flavors were mellower and more blended, and I could taste the tea's natural sweetness more. All in all, I enjoyed this and liked that I could get several infusions out of it (so far, at least three).
Broad tea leaves. A few drops expand into a dense layer.
Wow!!! I really enjoy this tea. Very creamy and mellow if not steeped to long. This I will order again.
This is one of my favorite Oolong teas and I would dear say one of the best that Adagio sells. A little on the expensive side but worth it if you really appreciate Oolong tea.
The flavor was delicious--kind of nutty and earthy! I enjoyed my small sample too quickly, haha.
