Love matcha at drink shops, but at home the extra fine powder makes a mess especially in A very dry climate. I also have a difficult time getting the mixture to turn into paste and not be clumpy.
Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tea leaves are used to create matcha. The leaves are plucked and laid out flat to dry. Veins are removed and the leaves, now called tencha, are carefully ground in granite mills until they become the precious powder.

I'm getting into matchas. I don't get a strong mocha profile here. I made it into a Matcha Oat Latte, and like it very much, but it could be a regular matcha and I don't think I would have noticed the difference.
I don't know why I waited so long to try Matcha Mocha. The flavors are perfectly complementary. I will definitely buy this one again.
It was good, but I got more mocha than matcha in the taste. While it was tasty, I was hoping for a more even mix of the flavors.
This matcha is really good, and I very much liked the subtle mocha flavors. That said, it's very subtle. I used it in a latte with plain coconut milk, and one with vanilla creamer and could only taste the mocha in the plain, so that's something to keep in mind.
Was super excited to try this and did not disappoint! Chocolatey under matcha
The perfect blend of matcha and mocha, one of my new favorites
I like this matcha. I can't really taste the mocha flavor, but the matcha is good. My son prefers the raspberry mocha. I use the whisk to stir the matcha with the hot water and I always drink matcha with heated milk (about 1 cup milk to 1 cup matcha) and no sweetener.
This was given as a gift to my son in law who loves matcha. I recommended your site to him for his matcha needs. He took a look and made an order.
I’m a bit anosmic, so teas have to be very flavor forward for me to appreciate. That said, this tastes like a good matcha to me, but no mocha. I’m
Passing it on to my daughter to try, as she’s got a more sensitive palate.
I purchased a sample of this out if curiosity. It wasn't bad but I don't think I'll be purchasing more-mostly because I found I prefer I like the fruitier matchas.
I tried this matcha with oat milk and sweetener and it was delicious. Perfect if you want a slightly flavored taste in your tea, subtle but feet good.
I thought this might taste artificial, but it's very pleasing. Delicate mocha flavor, same great quality of the regular matcha. Definitely best sweetened. I use coconut sugar or maple syrup :)
I enjoy matcha for the flavor, the energy boost, and the health benefits. I have been trying to drink matcha daily and this mocha matcha is a delicious addition to my line up. I have made mocha matcha lattes hot and iced with tasty results. I add a bit of sweetness to bring out the mocha notes. I will definitely be trying the other Adagio flavored matchas. Sip, sip away!
High quality matcha! Tastes great hot or cold. I only wish it had a more mocha flavor. Have to add mocha syrup.
I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. Very light mocha flavor. Amazing as an oat milk latte. The matcha flavor is wonderful and bright.
Delish!!! I love iced mixed with cold brew!! It gives your favorite matcha flavor and helps that craving I get sometimes !
This tastes a little bit nutty compared to plain matcha. It doesn't have a strong mocha flavor, but there is definitely a hint of something, especially in the aftertaste. Personally, I like it quite a bit. My only complaint is that it doesn't mix as easily as regular matcha, so the tea tends to have a grainy texture.
Not really a fan of this one. I ve had the Matcha Peach before from Adagio and that was much better. I don t really taste either the matcha or the mocha, just... a weird unpleasant mix @adagioteas
Delightful! I'll be drinking this on days when I just want to focus on a task. Mocha is my go-to focus flavor!
This matcha is quite good and I like how the mocha flavoring mingles and meshes with the matcha as opposed to overpowers it. I do prefer plain matcha, however this made a fantastic matcha latte if that is something you plan on doing with this flavor.
Good matcha, just a little to strong on the mocha for my. Might mix it with normal matcha for a more gentle mocha taste. If you like strong mocha flavor this is a matcha for you.
Haven't tried yet, but I love coffee and matcha. Can't see how any of that would be bad
I love the fruit matcha flavors from Adagio, but this one just didn't work for me. It tastes a little nutty, but I don't pick up on the chocolate flavoring at all. It might be a nice addition to a chocolate smoothie or hot cocoa for the caffeine boost though.
I like this variety, but not enough to order again and again. The mocha flavor is very subtle, but I tend to reorder other flavored matchas more often. Good for occasionally turning into a latte.
So good with a little cream added but good on its own too
SO good! It's not quite coffee, not quite green or black tea, but I made incredible lattes with this stuff. It whips up so fast too. I looked at other reviews and boiled the water then put a little in the cup to make a paste, before pouring water and almond milk in with stevia to sweeten it. I'd recommend one of those super-fine espresso whisks if you don't have a matcha whisk, or a mini frother. Has a pleasant earthy flavor with plenty of matcha mouthfeel. Will def buy again when I run out!
If I hadn't seen the label, I don't think I'd know there was any mocha in this matcha. I can neither see nor taste it. However, the taste is quite pleasant, mellow, and I think the mocha is masking the grassy taste that matcha usually has.
This is delicious, not much mocha flavor, but it tastes like I may have to consider a self ban to not go broke
I really like this tea. The coffee flavor isn’t too noticeable but it adds a bit of a different flavor to the matcha. A bit strong without sugar but you could drink it plain if desired. I’d say I prefer this over plain matcha
I personally didn't love it, but my daughter seems to enjoy it. She says if you put a little bit of honey, it brings out the mocha flavor a little bit
Like many others, I can't taste the mocha very much. I mainly drink this for the high caffeine content and experience of making it.
Looking forward to trying this one and sharing it with one of my daughters. I generally don't drink Matcha
I. CANT. STOP. Not that I want to, but this is so amazing. I brew mine over ice (in a shaker with ice and water) and pour almond milk over it. It's like an adult chocolate milk, with just the right amount of oomph for the 'Oh god, I have to sit through enough Zoom meeting' afternoon
There's definitely a mocha flavor. I'm just not too fond of it in my matcha. Mocha nut mate would be a better choice for me.
I am really into matcha, I am glad I took the plunge. The mocha was slite but there.
This is so good! Somehow it's actually a brighter green than the traditional matcha, and nicer besides. I don't know that I'd necessarily pick out the mocha flavor as mocha if I didn't already know what it was supposed to be, but there's definitely a smoothness and a malty, biscuity flavor I haven't found in any other matcha I've ever tried. I ended up preferring this to the traditional as my basic, go-to, everyday matcha!
The mocha taste isn t up in your face ,but is definitely there.
Can't taste the mocha. Might as well buy regular matcha.
I was nervous about flavored matcha but this was awesome. Am back to order a larger size.
A little too earthy for my taste. Still a good matcha
I really like this! The mocha flavor is subtle and I wish it was a little stronger but it still tastes good and is good quality.
This was a nice change of pace from the normal matcha unusually drink. It still maintains the same characteristics but adds a little personality to it. I'll definitely be buying again.
Bought this for my wife, she absolutely loved it.
This is the first matcha i have tried ever and i really enjoyed the flavor. Couldnt taste a whole lot of the mocha but still delicious will be ordering again.
Again disappointed after my first good experience with the Match Blueberry. I was looking for flavor like I get with the blueberry, but there just isn't any. This one tastes mostly of grass. Opening the bag gives you hope that there would be more flavor, but all I get is a mildly sweet sensation. Not heavy on the grass, but not heavy on any flavor really.
Oh...so good..Nice introduction to matcha tea. So delicious. Enjoyed to the last drop!
I tried this mocha matcha this morning and enjoyed it. I don't think it has a strong mocha flavor, but the overall flavor is pleasant. A nice way to start the day.
Very subtle flavor, still good, but I was hoping for more Mocha to come through. This is good made with the bamboo whisk, almond milk, and a little honey.
The mocha flavor is subtle yet rich at the same time. I enjoy making this as a treat on the weekend!
