I cold brewed today's Communitea sample. The result was a slightly tart tea with a lovely strawberry flavor.
Sweet strawberry and sugared rhubarb aroma, beautiful warm color, pleasantly aromatic and not super sweet.

I cold brewed today's Communitea sample. The result was a slightly tart tea with a lovely strawberry flavor.
Refreshingly tart and fruity. I used 10 oz of water at 200° For 12 minutes and then added 1tsp of Adagio honey for fruit tisane. I enjoyed it hot and if I’d had more I would’ve tried it cold too.
Another great fruit blend! When cold steeped, this one taste of tart hibiscus, with a taste of sweet berry. A bit of sweetener (or a generous splash of lemonade) brings out the berry flavor to the front. “Berry” tasty!
Didn't have the opportunity to try this CommuniTea sample until late in the day which is perfect for an herbal. Some may find the hibiscus too tart but I thought it played well with the strawberry. Wanted to try this iced but it was so good it was gone before I had a chance to chill.
Very flavorful sweet strawberry tea. Perfect for an afternoon break.
A little sour from the hibiscus and rose hips, but largely pleasant when iced.
Enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. I was concerned about bad artificial tastes and that was not an issue. While warm there was a nice jam like aroma that brings back memories of making jam with my mom. Not too tart or sweet. My cup was just right after adding a bit of honey. I cooled the last half of my cup and then added lemonade. What a great strawberry lemonade. Made a nice cocktail with a couple frozen strawberries and a little vodka.
Steeped at 212° for 7 mins. Just wish you could steep twice. Enjoy!
Very nice! Without sweetener, it's overly tangy, but with sweetener this is a lovely strawberry tea.
The dry blend had a very nice strawberry aroma. Once brewed, it had very little strawberry flavor though. It make a cheery, rosy red cup that's a little tart, and a little sweet. Was hoping for a bit more strawberry though. Perhaps it's best cold-brewed and enjoyed iced.
Tasted this with the CommuniTEA as a cold brew. It makes a delicious iced afternoon treat for a warm day.
Great strawberry flavor! I brewed it for an iced tea and the flavor is crisp and refreshing!
A lot of strawberry fragrance and taste. Had it hot 10 mins, @ 212 with a little sweetener. Included in my next shipment so that I can try it iced. Delish
I read some other reviews before trying, and listened to how they brewed it to decrease the tartness. Simply delicious
18 Aug 2020 review: Even though I added 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, my first tastes were very sour when hot. Fearing that I had steeped this one too long at 7 minutes, I gave it a chance and let it cool down to warm before continuing my review. When warm, pleasant and tasty strawberry flavors came forward, but the sourness from the rose hips & hibiscus remained. I’m afraid that what I did by steeping too long made this a middle of the road tasting sip. Now I know why I usually go for lower steep times when rose hips and hibiscus are involved. I truly believe that a steep of 4 mins @ 212F would have made this a better drink by far! (7 mins @ 212F, 1/2 tsp sugar)
This is very lovely as a cold brew. STRONG fruit, not quite the punch in the face that the Fruit Medley tea is, but close.
I was worried that this would be too tart, but I think it is actually very well balanced. There is a strong, sweet, ripe strawberry taste and a tartness as well, both complimenting each other. The brew is a glorious pink! Warning though--this got more tart as it cooled.
I wish that this wasn't so tart and hibiscus-y, but I don't know if the strawberry flavor would be able to come forward without it. This is super tasty and smells like a true to life strawberry. This would make excellent jamaica.
I am usually not an herbal tea fan, however I did enjoy this iced. The strawberry flavor is wonderful, didn't even have to sweeten it.
UPDATE: I really like to cold brew this tea! The hibiscus is mild compared to some other herbal blends.
A solid fruity tea with no caffeine. The fruit flavors all blended together and I didn’t outright taste strawberry, more of a general fruit flavor.
Strawberry lovers can definitely enjoy this regardless of how tart or sweet preferences are. I used sugar to bring out the flavor. Gorgeous red color will not be present for a re-steeping which is a shame.
CommuniTEA Sample: An excellent Strawberry Herbal tea that is good hot or iced. It doesn't taste artificial or medicinal at all, but tastes a bit like some strawberry jam. It reminds me of eating some of my grandma's fresh jam on some toast. Very good!
Nope, nope, and nope. Another heavy, potpourri tea that just doesn't work for me.
I love the ruby red elixir that is Wild Strawberry tea! I use it in blends when I want to add a sweet strawberry flavor. I can see how it would remind people of Kool-Aid, but strawberry was always my favorite flavor of it, so I really don't mind!
I love the smell of this tea. I cold brewed it over night and enjoyed it for breakfast. It was a bit too tart for my liking. I am sure this would be great if sweetener was added, it just isn't my preference. If I were to try this again, I would add some fresh berries.
A delicious herbal tea with a nice strawberry flavor!
This tea is tart and refreshing, and smells like a strawberry patch! It is great hot or iced. It can stand on its own, or be blended with other teas. It brews up to a very pretty pink color.
I tried this tea iced and it was quite lovely. My only real complaint is the overabundance of hibiscus in the tea, it really gives it an overpowering hibiscus flavour that most would not find enjoyable when they are expecting a mainly strawberry flavoured tea. Worry not though, theres still plenty of strawberry flavor to go around.
I cold brewed overnight for about 8 hours and very lightly sweetened.
A tart strawberry
That's picked early off the vine
Not the sweet treat kind
Will make you pucker
Still you'll reach for another
Thinking that's just fine!
(Haiku review)
This tea is sour tasting to me even with a few sugar packets added to it. It is a lovely pink color though. Might taste better iced than it does hot.
Definitely a tea that is meant to be iced with a touch of sweetener.
I love this tea! Hibiscus and strawberry? Yes, please. Perfect combo, and definitely going on my wishlist.
Opening the communiTEA packet, the strawberry scent hits you. And the taste is a nice strawberry flavor with a hint of tartness.
Did not realize that it contained hibiscus (does not go well with milk, the milk forms chunky particles.
Really good, hot or iced. I use this in one of my oolong blends, and it goes well with almost anything. It’s especially refreshing in summer.
Yay for strawberry goodness! This is a keeper for me. The strawberry flavor is delightful. This tea makes me smile. Cold brewed.
Refreshing blend to meet all your iced tea needs for summer! Bet it would be good hot too!
Very sweet and fruity. The smell reminds me of a lemonade.
'I wanted to SMACK my momma,' this was delicious. I fell in love first sip. My taste buds jumping for joy in my mouth. Strawberries are my favorite fruit. This was done right. I tried it with vodka Ah-mazing.
Super great herbal tea for nightly sweet teas! 10/10
Absolutely delicious! The strawberry really stands out, and there's just a hint of tartness from the hibiscus.
This tea is good iced or hot I love starting berry tea
Love to mix this one with other teas. Great warm or cold.
When you sweeten it enough, it tastes like strawberry kool-aid!
Perfect blend of sweet and tart. Very refreshing! Perfect iced or hot.
One of my favorite herbal blends from Adagio! It's probably the closest 'off the shelf' version of Cupid's Cup that you can get, but of course with much stronger strawberry flavor. The apple pieces help balance it out for a bright and fruity cup that doesn't have that medicinal taste some of the berry blends are prone to.
I cold brewed this tea in the Adagio glass ice tea pitcher. It is quite beautiful in color and tastes like fresh strawberries. Refreshing and tasty. My husband and I are both fans.
Very fruity, and definitely a strong strawberry flavor. Not as acidic as some fruit teas can be.
I've bought this tea a few times, one of my favorite herbal teas so far. It's got a natural strawberry flavor that makes it slightly sour and slightly sweet without adding any sugar to it.
Perfection, needs nothing else except your attention. This tea is amazing and tastes like fresh strawberries
Not a fan. Seemed very sour to me. Even with a lot of sugar. A shame, since I really wanted another strawberry tea. I'll stick to the decaf strawberry.
