I absolutely love anything and everything watermelon and this tea is no exception!! So light and sweet.

I think this may be one of my favorite tisanes. It was absolutely delicious! I had mine iced and it was so refreshing and sweet like a watermelon jolly rancher!

Wow! This tea was an absolute delight. Notes of watermelon can be tasted up front but then there’s a sweet note at the end. Perhaps the combination of mint and lime? Delicious!

This tea turns the loveliest shade of pink and it has a nice aroma to it. Howevet, the taste is very light and not that sweet, so I had to add a touch of honey to drink it. It was nice to try but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to order this.

This tea smells wonderful! My youngest son went nuts over todays tea. . I taste the watermelon and there’s a slight tartness from the hibiscus and cranberries I preferred with a little honey and drank the tea warm. I enjoy it served cold with honey. .

Fantastic iced tea. This really tasted like watermelon without a synthetic taste.

Perhaps I didn't brew this one long enough (6 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius), but I felt that it had very little flavor. A faint hint of watermelon with very little tartness or sweetness in my cup. I made it hot and then iced it. Perhaps if I have the chance to try it again, I'll use a higher tea-to-water ratio, but for now, I felt it lacked the punch of watermelon I was expecting from the smell.

Communitea Review: Fruity, fun, fantastic summer cup—reminds me of the watermelon bubble gum I loved as a teenager. 🍉

Fruity and only slightly tart due to the hibiscus. A refreshing sipper.

Despite smelling like bubblegum, this tisane steeps up into an undeniably watermelon experience. In my cup, the flavor was strong and unmistakable. I made it hot and drank it warm, but I’m sure an iced version would be even more reminiscent of everyone’s favorite summertime fruit. (Okay, not everyone. Permit me some hyperbole.) Personally, I’d rather eat watermelon than drink it as a tea, but this tea performs exactly as it’s meant to, so stars awarded.

So enjoyable as a cold brew. I have had tart watermelon teas before. This one was sweet and delicious. Might add a little honey next time.

What a delightful summer tea! The addition of the slight apple flavor balances out the watermelon...with a slight tingle of cranberry. This tea is as good cold as it is hot!

★★★☆☆

I did not like this one, unfortunately. For me, this tea was too artificial smelling and too sweet.

This tea has everything I could want in tea except caffeine, but I will get my caffeine elsewhere.

Fun watermelon scent. I felt like I needed more in my communitea packet, so I mixed in some Cupid right away, but I wish I waited and tried the cooler on it's own first. Even if it would have been a small cup. I love the light pink color others got. I'll have to get a sample to try again.

This tea is pretty nuanced, I taste a fruity sweetness at the top of my palate and a bit of a tart finish. It really is like drinking crisp watermelon juice, with a sweeter high note mid sip replacing the natural tip-of-tongue sweetness in the real thing.
There's also a bit more sticky aftertaste, otherwise the watermelon juice experience is spot-on. This tea seems sweeter as it cools, then paradoxically less flavorful, albeit more juicy/refreshing iced. I think I like it iced better, because it is so similar to watermelon juice that drinking it hot confuses me. It is unique and fun, but I like flavorful teas which I can drink before they cool down, so this probably won't be a regular for me.

Quite nice; the watermelon is strong with notes of hibiscus and cranberry. Definitely a tea i'd drink iced over hot; it is a watermelon cooler afterall.

I was expecting a lot of tartness when I saw hibiscus so I opted to cold brew overnight. Then I was pleasantly surprised to find this tastes amazingly like fresh watermelon juice! Not artificial or cloyingly sweet - but very light and refreshing. It got lighter on a 2nd cold steep but my kid still loves it and guzzled it down. Another great summer herbal! 🍉 👍🏻
2nd time I sampled I was in a hurry so I hot-steeped and poured over ice. It was just as good!

In my CommuniTEA packet, I found mostly apples pieces followed by a very light sprinkle of hibiscus, rose hip, and raspberry leaf. I considered adding a wee bit more raspberry leaf to the mix from my stash, but opted to give this tea a fair try. The scent is of the dry tea is vaguely sweet.
Looking at other reviews as the suggest brew time is such a large gap, I opted to brew this tea closer to the 10 minute mark at 212F. It ended up brewing into a nice purple-red hue. I found that it loses its scent once it is brewed. If you drink it hot, you won't get as much of the watermelon flavor. It started popping out more as I let it cool. It definitely has a 'summer as a kid' vibe going on.

I’ve only ever had this tea iced and it is pretty hit or miss for me. It is great on its own as a sipping beverage during a summer walk, but doesn’t pair well with anything with strong flavors as it gets overpowered and erased easily

It has all the right flavors and hibiscus the watermelon and it’s very good cold I preferred it cold more than I do hot one very tasty summer tea

The only way to drink this is iced; where the watermelon flavor becomes more dominant. It was light and refreshing. The hibiscus profile was miniscule, not a problem at all. It's a nice little summer tea.

What a refreshing, light beverage just made for being cool!! I have cold brewed this & also have tried this, hot steeped, then iced. The color remains a beautiful light watermelon pink, no matter the modality of steep. This blend is great as a supporting star in blends, too!

In the bag: The ingredients seem to match the Adagio photo.

On the nose (pre-steep): Watermelon is the main tune, no surprise. There's an undertone of sugar, giving the impression that the watermelon is candied. Hint of rose.

On the nose (post-steep): Watermelon continues to lead the way. Accent of hibiscus. No more underlying sugar.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): The taste reminds me of a simple, fresh watermelon drink, like a watermelon agua fresca. Neither sweet nor tart. Hit of hibiscus.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): The sweetener has brought out subtle secondary notes, like raspberry. The flavor is more layered now.

Opinion: An excellent blend! So many fruity herbals go overboard with hibiscus and sour flavors, but this one is mild and balanced. I appreciate the simplicity of the watermelon.

Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

UPDATED from 8/3/22: There is a lovely bold fruity smell from the ingredients in the CommuniTEA packet. They all steep surprisingly into the loveliest clear, deep pink color tea. Aha, this is a very mild tea. Yummy, light watermelon herbal tea. It is good hot, but very delicate flavoring. Much better as an ice tea, with a little sweetener ¼ teaspoon (to 12 oz). This is a perfect ice tea for a very hot muggy day, because it is refreshingly light, caffeine free, yet yummy good. Seriously a great ice tea. (10 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).

I wasn't sure what I was getting into. I certainly wasn't expecting flashbacks to the carefree days when my biggest concern was to not start eating my Lip Smacker lip balm! This tea is absolutely delightful! Although I'm not a fan of most fruit teas because of the sweetness, this one manages to be lightly sweet and packed full of flavor.

You won't be disappointed if you're looking for watermelon because this tea is absolutely watermelon! Sweet and delicious! Be careful adding too much sugar to this one, though, because it can get too sweet very fast!

The watermelon flavor was a little overwhelming for me as a hot tea. I will try this as an iced tea next time.

★★★★★

This is a fun herbal tea with a great juicy flavor. I have only had it hot, but I think it would also make for a great iced tea for summers.

Tried this tea for the first time...love it. Not the "fake" watermelon taste. Great hot or iced!

Really great watermelon flavour! Anything with watermelon tastes so good in tea [especially with a touch of honey and blue agave to strengthen it a little more, but you gotta be careful with the honey as it can easily overpower blends like this]. The cranberry adds just the right amount of tart, and it comes out more when you let it cool a while.

This smells and tastes like a starburst. I've made it hot before and it was okay, but it makes an excellent iced tea.

This tea was ok. Had higher hopes for it. If I was to try this in a blind taste test, not sure I would have been able to tell it was watermelon.

★★★★★

This one is my favorite. It is smooth not strong. I really enjoy it. I recomennded..I will definetly order it again. I Love it!!!

I adore this tea! I first got it in a single packet as part of the communitea and loved it. It’s so good, although the second brew is weak.

Definitely more on the 'watermelon flavored candy' side of things, but I'm not complaining about that. Kinda like a watermelon flavored kool-aid, it makes a refreshing, hot day summer drink when iced.

★★★★★

Very refreshing as a cold brew tea in the fridge overnight! Also lovely mixed with lemon lime soda as a mocktail when cold brewed as well!

★★★★☆

Watermelon's an underrated flavor - and this one is excellent iced. This makes a delightful cold brew that is perfectly refreshing for summer.

WOWWWW!! This tea has a delicious watermelon flavor without being overpoweringly sweet. I have been looking for a herbal blend, to brew at night, and this is definitely my new favorite. I love that it's caffeine-free and that it tastes like a watermelon popsicle. If you're on the fence- don't second guess adding this refreshing tea to your cart. I've only had it piping hot but I imagine it's absolutely mind-blowing ice cold too!

★★★★★

It's a Very good refreshing summer tea.
