Okay as a cold brew, but I wouldn't get it again. Barely has any flavor, and if you brew it hot it tastes like burnt apples or something.

★★★★★

If you like watermelon, you need to try this tea. great watermelon flavor without being overly sweet. It's also nowhere near tart, unlike some of the other fruity herbals. I don't know if it would work as well as a hot tea, but I love it iced (dump some in water and let it cold-brew overnight in the refrigerator--SO easy).

★★★★☆

This was surprisingly good. I brewed 1st, chilled then enjoyed the light hint of watermelon.

★★★★★

Cool, refreshing beverage: perfect summertime treat!

★★★★☆

As others have said, let this one sit a while longer than you might think it needs to! It's a very clean-tasting, mild tea with watermelon and cucumber notes most prominently. Hot it's a little concerning - almost like vinegar - but over ice it's refreshing, barely sweet, and prettily pink. People who like light teas will be pleased! It's not going to enter my regular rotation, but then it's simply not geared towards me - I prefer my teas black.
Still a nice refreshing summer drink.

★★★☆☆

Very light tea but still has good flavor. I followed the instructions for brewing. I haven't tried it cold but I think it would be a better cold.

★★★★☆

Not as tart or bold as some of the other herbal fruit blends but it does have a flavor that approaches watermelon. It makes a delightful summer iced tea or a hot tea, but I recommend adding some hibiscus to it when you make it.

★★★★★

I bought this just because it looked fun to try, I really didnt expect to love it as much as I did! But its now one of my new favorite teas. Will definitely be ordering more!

★★★★☆

Much lighter than the other fruit herbal tea, but it blends well with other teas because of this attribute.

I think I am finding I love all the teas based on drinks. This tea is so delightfully sweet and melon-y. Personally I find this an amazingly refreshing tea that tastes amazing iced.

★★★☆☆

It's an okay flavor but I had to use the entire 3oz to get enough concentrated flavor in a 2qt jug.

This is a total favorite around here. It is so, so good!

★★★★☆

Much better as an iced tea than hot. Tastes more like apple than watermelon.

★★★★★

This is refreshing and I didn't think I could smell or taste watermelon but I did. Try it!

★★★★☆

I was prepared to be underwhelmed by this tea, but I find it wonderful iced! I wish I hadn't only ordered the sample of it. I've blended it with a bit of the white strawberry to make my go-to summer beverage for this absurd heat. I can see how the flavor might be 'hit or miss' with some folks. Worth a try.

★★★★★

This tea was perfect on a hot day over ice. Great flavor.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorites! It's very refreshing and, I think, tastes very strongly of watermelon!

★★★★★

This tea is amazing! I was a little skeptical at first, but I ended up loving it! I suggest drinking it iced or at least cold, that way it makes it very refreshing. It takes exactly like a slice of fresh watermelon. I suggest using the steeping directions on the package, which state to steep for 5-10 minutes. I did it for 10 minutes, to get the most out of the tea. I usually have to add sugar or sweetener to bring out the flavor, but I didn't with this one. It was perfect right off the bat. This is perfect for sipping out on the porch in the middle of summer.

I think this herbal is amazing. It tastes exactly like biting into a piece of warm watermelon. I have only had it hot, but I think it would be awesome cold. My husband, who does not like flavored tea at all, even liked the taste of this. I will definitely be repurchasing this one.

★★★☆☆

Not nearly as good as I'd expected, its a very faint and delicate taste, which gets even weaker when cold, which is the only way I can do fruit teas.

I wasn't expecting to like it (the smell was a little TOO artificial to me), but this was totally fantastic. It was definitely more watermelon flavor flavored than actually tasting like watermelon, but I prefer the former anyway, and it was juicy and tangy. I didn't have any trouble getting it to be strong, but I also generally put a lot of tea in my cup? So that might have something to do with it. I can imagine this would be amazing iced.

★★★★★

A perfect treat on a warm day. Couldn't be happier with the flavor.

★★★★☆

This makes a great iced tea! It is awful light though, so I just steep it for forever, but it's a really light and refreshing summer iced tea!

★★★☆☆

Just okay. I didn't get enough watermelon taste even when steeped for a longer time with more tea.

Got this for the wife. She loves it, especially when she's looking for something without caffeine at night.

Watermelon Cooler is my favorite tisane blend ever! My husband and I live on a ranch, and drink tons of this flavor when working in the hot sun.

Instead of making this like a traditional tisane, I make it into more of an iced watermelon punch by letting it infuse 24 hours in my Takeya Flash Chill Pitcher. In fact all Adagio's herbal fruit teas turn out fantastic using this method.

If anyone is interested, here's how I make the Watermelon Cooler 'punch', using the Takeya Flash Chill Pitcher...

First I add a small amount of hibiscus leaves to the Watermelon Cooler mix. It adds a deeper flavor, and of course adds more color. You can also mix other blends with the watermelon cooler, add some mint or peppermint, or my favorite thing to do: turn it into 'Watermelon Cantaloupe Cooler', by adding pieces of freeze dried cantaloupe to the original mix.

Using the Takeya Pitcher. Fill up the pitcher's infuser until it's 3/4 full of the tea mix, or fill the infuser all the way for a stonger fruit flavor.

Next add a little organic sugar or sweetener of choice to the pitcher. Follow the pitcher's instructions and add hot water.(Tip: For people who say tisanes are weak and flavorless. most tea experts will tell you tisanes must have some sweetener added, as this how the fruit's natural flavors are released.)

Leave the pitcher on the counter, and let the tea sit in the hot water to 'brew' for about an hour. Shake well every 15 minutes, but make sure your pitcher lid is shut all the way before shaking! .)

Add the cold water (again, following the pitcher's instructions)let sit out 20 minutes, then put the pitcher in the fridge for 24 hours. LEAVE the tea mix and infuser in the pitcher whole time. It will not get bitter like traditional teas do, it just develops a stronger fruit flavor.

24 hours later, remove the infuser from the pitcher and discard the tea mix. Taste and adjust the sweetness to your liking. Add more sugar if desired or you can add some cold water to your glass before serving if it's already too sweet for you.

Serve over ice for delicious, full-flavored watermelon punch! For a twist, make a carbonated 'punch' by filling a glass with ice 3/4 full of Ginger Ale, then fill the to the top with the Watermelon Cooler punch. YUM!! There are just so many ways to use Adagio teas!

PS-Not sure how long the tisane/punch will last in the fridge...we've never even had a pitcher last a day. .)

The aroma is wonderful. The flavor is very light and 6-7 mins steep time seemed to bring out the flavor better. It's still a light tea, you just have to accept that fact. It's crisp and refreshing. It's nice hot but it's even better iced. I also think it's a stronger watermelon flavor cold. It's the perfect summer iced tea and I really hope they make these in the ice tea pouches soon! EDIT: Apparently I had a different batch. What I got sent next was not even remotely the same tea. I was informed the one I had received in the sample came from an 'older batch' and could have been anything from the fruit being aged to where they had gotten the leaves/fruit, to that particular crop. Such a let down not to have the same wonderful tea I had before. At least I received a refund. Kept the tea around. Maybe once it ages, that will make a difference.

This is the only herbal tea from adagio I haven't really liked. I found this tea to be too sweet for my taste.

★★★★★

A fantastic blend. It actually does taste like watermelon, and, like watermelon, it has a delicate and slightly sweet flavor without being overpowering. In fact, I would say it even registers as crisp and refreshing. This is a delicious summer beverage with a beautiful scent and color. I will definitely purchase it again.

I'm slowly making my way through all the Adagio teas. So far, Watermelon Cooler is my favorite. I made a big pitcher of iced and added lime slices and a few mint leaves. I drank the entire pitcher in two days. So good! The gorgeous color is just a bonus. I don't think you can oversteep this one.

★★★☆☆

This smells great out of the bag, but the flavor once steeped for iced tea is weak. Flavor is more of apple than melon. Not one I would buy again.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed this tea, I just wish the watermelon flavor was more pronounced compared to the apple flavor! Stil tasty though.

★★★★★

I ordered this specifically for iced tea. Aside from it being a bit weak for me when the directions were followed (I like my tea and coffee super strong), it was great. Definitely making it stronger next time. It was sweet and didn't need much sweetener. I think this might become my 'go to' iced tea.

★★★★☆

While the scent of watermelon doesn't come out when it's steeped, a very light taste of watermelon is there when you drink it. It's balanced with the apple pieces like you would find in a watermelon blended juice so you're not overwhelmed with one strong flavor. It also steeps to a darker color than you'd expect for the amount of apple in the bag. Would be amazing chilled with chunks of watermelon or honeydew frozen in place of ice cubes.

★★★☆☆

This tea has a pinkish hue. It has a very slight taste of watermelon, but it is not bad. Maybe adding a bit more than specified might enhance the flavor. Great cold.

★★★★★

Yum! Watermelon cooler is so light and refreshing hot or cold!

Great tea iced! Looking forward to adding some slices of fresh watermelon to it this summer.

★★★★☆

Ok, so I ordered this tea on a whim. I didn't know if I would even like it, or if it would actually taste like watermelon, but the idea intrigued me. My gamble was worth it because it is actually very good and surprisingly watermelon-y!!

★★★★☆

I used in in an iced tea blend with strawberry black. Delicious together!

★★★★☆

I liked it! like alot of the reviews already on it. Honestly the taste of watermelon is bearly there but it is a good tea regarless... it has a sweet taste that i loved.

I have only tried this tea iced and it was very refreshing.

★★★★★

This is my favourite by far. I add just the smallest amount of rock sugar ad it seems to bring out the flavour even more. I have also mixed this with a cinnamon chai and it was interesting tasting the sweet and then the spice. But this can definitely go well hot or cold.

★★★★☆

First time trying this tea. Like the flavor and prefer to mix with black tea to make iced tea. Flavors the tea nicely and don't need to add sugar

★★★★☆

A nice watermelon/pineapple combination. Seems to be better served cold with a little sweetness added to bing out the fruit flavor. The aroma is wonderful.

★★★★☆

Nice and cool tea a very refreshing option and excellent for a iced tea twist, with a lil honey is just perfect !

Not much flavor to this tea. What flavor there was reminded me of eating a fresh cut watermelon. Much better iced than hot.

★★☆☆☆

I was excited for this one but It was very very weak.I have been cutting it with other fruity teas

No pool is complete without Watermelon Cooler. Slide my TN Sweet Tea aside, sorry mom this tea is going to change history.

No definite watermelon flavour identified. Has a bit more of an apple taste to it, wouldn't order again!
