I'm using this to add a little melon flavor to the black tea I'm sun brewing this summer. It also adds a little tartness from the hibiscus and apple pieces which gives the tea a refreshing finish.
Sweet, juicy and refreshing, our Watermelon Cooler when iced makes a perfect poolside treat. Add a pinch of mint or a twist of lime to create a tasty watermelon mocktail.

I was surprised this was loose tea and not in the pouches. I went ahead and brewed a cup and put it on ice. It is a refreshing tea and nice that it is herbal so I can drink it in the evening. I don't taste any watermelon, what I taste the most is apple. Maybe I need to give the bag a good shake to mix it up a bit. It is a good tea but won't be a favorite for me.
So good for the summer! Better iced than hot, excellent with mint and/or lime, especially as a mocktail. I make it extra strong because the apple pieces add bulk but not a ton of flavor. Perfect amount of hibiscus, though.
A flavorful summer tea. Works well iced and with hot with cream. Has a gorgeous color in the kettle.
This tea is lightly flavored, and very refreshing. I steeped a strong cup then added it to a small pitcher of ice to make a great glass of iced tea!
A subtly sweet and refreshing iced tea - reminiscent of childhood summers. I steep it in the sun on the deck - wonderful!
Strong and delicious watermelon flavor! I cold steep a cup overnight and use it to make my matcha which is a wonderful pairing
this is the best beverage for these hot days we are getting. It is cool with a mild sweet taste that is like drinking in a cool watermelon.
The bag smells like watermelon bubble gum, and has a delightfully summer fruity taste. Would do great as an iced tea.
I think part of the issue is that watermelon doesn't have much of a taste on its own, so the tea doesn't taste like much either.
Not a lot of watermelon flavor. I could smell it when mixed with my pineapple juice but the bag i got was mostly apple pieces
This one is delicious as well, i feel like you cant go wrong with any of the herbal flavors adagio offers
An absolute favorite. Perfect for summer and sharing with friends, family and coworkers.
Amazing. Seriously, pick it up. We added this one to our iced tea repertoire and brew it pretty much weekly at this point. By itself it is great, slight bit of lemonade is nice as well. Really doesn't need a sweetener boost to be a very great tea. Years later, I am still purchasing this tea because it has become one of my favorites.
This is the best tasting tea I have ever had. So refreshing and tastes like watermelon. I will be drinking this all summer long.
A delightful burst of watermelon flavor without tasting too much like watermelon candy! Most recommendations like it iced, but I've only tried it hot. I love it with a big pinch of Adagio spearmint to cut the sweetness and add another layer of flavor. Looking forward to trying it iced -maybe even a mocktail base
Yum! I first just tried a sample of this but I'm ordering a bigger bag as we speak. It's definitely a refreshing summer drink, no sugar needed either.
I really like this a lot. I've only tried it hot because it's winter, but I bet it's even better iced. It definitely tastes of watermelon and is smooth tasting as long as you don't over steep.
Great versatile tea both iced and hot. I prefer it iced with lemon and a little sweetener but it is also great for afternoons in winter.
I tasted the watermelon up front, but not a lot of flavor after. For my next cup, I will add more than a teaspoon.
This tea tastes better cold and tastes like watermelon. I'm excited to have this tea iced for summer! Naturally sweet.
Nothing else needs to be said..FANTASTIC-NESS, I bought the summer sampler, but ended up buying a bag, which wasn'tbig enough, so, I'llbe buying an even bigger bag!!!
Delightfully watermelon flavored! A little bit of sweeter gives watermelon candy vibe
I was a little disappointed in this one. Not quite the flavors r I used expected but not unpleasant.
This tea holds true to its name. The watermelon is at the foorefront and combines very well with the hibiscus and apple. I drank it warm but it was still so refreshing I could have chugged it. Has a natural sweetness and acidity to it, from the apples/cranberries, that makes it that much more enjoyable. I m sure it would be just as good if not better as an iced tea
For summer or winter water melon flavor is so good
I have come back to this tea time and time again for the flavor as well as the fact that it is incredibly easy on the tummy for me when brewed properly for my tastes. Doesn't need much sweetener, either. Lovely.
This is such a refreshing, lovely tea for the summer. It's great iced and is refreshing on a hot day
If you like a light subtle flavor this would be for you. I liked the flavor but couldn't get it to be strong enough for my taste.
This has a nice watermelon flavor. I like it as an iced tea and find it quite refreshing when used as a cold iced tea.
This tea is so refreshing! Love drinking this after a day working in the yard!
I cold brewed this in the fridge for 24hrs. It had a very mild watermelon aftertaste but more like apple flavor.. this wasn’t a favorite for me or my family.
It is a good tea. I would like the watermelon flavoring to be stronger but otherwise it is a very nice rounded tea in flavor. Enjoyed cold
Just the tea for a summer afternoon, enjoyed hot or iced. Watermelon is one of my favorite fruits and now I can enjoy the taste in a tea!
My in-laws tried it and are asking me to buy them some. Tastes like watermelon, we love putting in a little lime juice for iced tea
Bought this caffeine free herbal for my daughter, and we are both enjoying! What a fun, bright, summery blend.
I’m absolutely kind blown how refreshing this was on one of the hottest days this summer! It’s a solid cup cold or hot (hot enhances the watermelon; while the cold smooths it out and makes it more refreshing).
Amazing enjoyed as a iced cold brew. Watermelon flavor comes through very well. Very refreshing. Would buy a larger bag for Summer.
A beautiful deep pink tea, refreshing with just a hint of watermelon.
This is the best cold over ice, steep as long as you want and it's plenty sweet without sugar.
I got watermelon from the scent of the packet, but when brewed hot, the taste was mostly hibiscus and a strange flavor that I find difficult to describe, except as a lingering unpleasant aftertaste. Maybe cold this would have been better? Or maybe this CommuniTea packet was not representative of the blend.
Trying this again, it is ok. I still get a bit of a weird aftertaste when brewed hot.
Drank this hot today with nothing added to my cup. It was already sweet and requires no sugar. I do think it would be better iced. Hot, the 'watermelon' is forefront with the cranberry and hibiscus working together to give it that tart bordering on sour finish. Rose didn't come through as much. I would still play with this tea in making some sort of fun iced drink for guests, but for my own drinking pleasure it would never be one I reach for. I love watermelon, loathe watermelon flavoring and this one honestly hits the perfect flavor of bubblicious watermelon gum which I always regretted getting when asking for a piece of gum from friends or family. I am sure many people will love this one though as it is definitely flavorful and different from the norm and I still finished my cup. 212° 10 min
I don't think I can do this, watermelon is not my favorite... the smell is fairly true to watermelon, and the flavors come through enough, it's simply not my cup of tea 😣
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, second infusion for 10 min @ 212 F. This is fine. I had this tea both hot and ice with each cup, and took notes on both. I wouldn't say it tastes super strongly of watermelon, primarily, the hibiscus and rose petals were the main flavors I was getting. They gave it a little bit of a creamy texture, but overall, it was very light. The first cup was decently sweet, a little bit of flavor from the apple and cranberry came through, and I will say, the shade of pink from the hibiscus plus the few raspberry leaves that escape my infuser did a great job of looking like watermelon with little seeds in it! The second cup was even weaker in flavor, just hibiscus, mostly, but in the after taste it was distinctly watermelon. I don't think it really replicates the flavor of watermelon that well, but it was fine.
Sweet fruity watermelon with a tad hint of floral in the background. Pleasant to sip. Reminds me of watermelon on shot dimmer day.
This has a nice watermelon aroma. I cold brewed it and it was a little lite on the watermelon flavor. I enjoyed it.
It's okay. I think my problem is that it reminds me too much of watermelon bubble gum that lost its flavor, which I find disappointing. That's a me problem.
Might be ok, I like some watermelon stuff, but this one is ruined by the evil weed known as hibiscus
Bubblicious! Absolutely nostalgic taste! Once I added the sugar it was like chewing the gum all over again without having to worry about losing the flavor!
really really good as an iced tea!!! would recommend coldbrewing it overnight
