Not the tea for me. Mostly apple pieces in my communitea packet, which was fine, but the rest of the 'tea' was basically powder. I steeped it for 10minutes, hoping to get color but got a very weak yellow tea. The taste was not enjoyable by any means and had a horrible mint flavor that somehow overpowered the apple. As the tea cooled, the flavor got worse, and the aftertaste in your mouth reminds you of gum you've been chewing for a while. Straight down the drain.

I think the orange is the strongest flavor in this one, but it's overall a mellow, rounded flavor. There is no citrus bite to it. I'm only getting the smallest hint of mint, which I'm really happy about because I think mint tends to overwhelm. Just delightful!

It wasn't bad, just a tad bland. I tasted the orange and mint, but they were weak.

Everything was present in my packet today. After reading the reviews I opted to use less water than normal to steep. The result was a subtle but tasty tea. I did go ahead and make this iced which was quite tasty and mellow. The mint was the most obvious flavor with orange and floral notes close behind.

The smell from the CommuniTea packet leaned very strong 'orange soda'. The contents however were mostly apple pieces, a smattering of rose hips, and a sprinkle of mint & other tidbits. I let it steep good and hot for over 10 min. I was rewarded with just a bit of mint flavor, and the faintest hint of 'fruit' flavor. With how strong the smell was, I expected more. I'm not a fan.

If a creamsicle came in mint, you’d have the ice cream version of Summer Night. The orange and spearmint are softened by flower and cream flavors. This delicious tisane was tasted as a Communitea.

Holy apple Batman! There was SO much apple I. My packet that I could only smell orchard. The taste was of citrus and mint, but that apple was SO present.

This tea was not my favorite. I found the aroma very strong, which made it hard to drink. The smell remind me of Halloween candy sitting in a plastic bucket. The flavor was very light, bit I did pick up hints of orange.

Definitely need a 'meh' button for the CommuniTea. When I opened the packet, I smelled Fruit Stripe gum, but upon brewing it, all I get is Wrigley's Spearmint gum. I don't taste any orange or floral flavors, or they're so covered up by the spearmint they get lost. I suppose they're what give this tea it's 'gummy' flavor to me.

I’ll be upfront and say the only fruit pieces in my community packet were Apple, but the combination of mint and apple alone was really nice and refreshing. I’m definitely interested in buying a sample to really get to know these flavors for what they are. As for what I’ve already tasted, I’m a fan.

Summer night has a good smell of fruity spearmint. It's light on the tea.

I was really not sure how to feel about this tea. On the one hand, it does exactly what it claims to do: it tastes like orange and mint. I'm just not sure whether orange should be paired with mint.
My Communitea packet smelled strongly of spearmint, which was different, as I'm more used to peppermint teas. There was also a distinctive floral note. The tea's flavor tastes almost like a creamsicle, except with mint. I don't think I've ever wanted a minty creamsicle.

I really just don't prefer herbals is what it comes down to.
The cream smell is nice when you open the packet - it smells like cream soda, which I like!
This tea doesn't taste bad, but it's not my favorite. I was worried the mint would be strong based on what everyone else was saying, but thankfully that didn't come through for me. It was pretty fruity without being too tart, which was nice. It seems very weak to me, even though I steeped a little longer than normal. It might be good cold. I just don't find it worth buying more of, except to have for the kids! <3

Everything was present in my daily packet, and a nice aroma escaped upon opening it. I know from other herbal teas that one should use a lot more tea for an herbal than you would generally use for a black/green/oolong, but there isn't a large quantity in the packet we receive. I followed the advice of someone in the chat who recommended using a smaller quantity of water so the tea would not be diluted. This was a very good idea, as even using a much smaller mug and a long steep time (8minutes), the tea was very light and had too little flavour. It made me think of watered down applejuice/orangeade that you give to kids to avoid giving them too much sugar. The orangey taste was kind of creamy and could have been nice if it was a little stronger, but it left me wanted more, the flavour was way too subdued. I felt that this tea had decent potential but it definitely needs to ramp up the flavour in this one. Sorry, this is not my cup of tea.

What an odd little apple filled tea. This tea is true to its description! It is very soft, and a minty- orange. I’m not sure that mint and orange actually belong together, but they work in this tea. A small sip of this hot did not yield much flavor, so I stuck it in the fridge and enjoyed it iced with a spoonful of sugar. A very odd, but pleasant, refreshing iced tea!

Upon opening the CommuniTEA packet, the aroma was exactly like St. Joseph's children's aspirin. Exactly! Not an enticing smell... Once brewed, the aroma almost entirely disappeared. I just couldn't detect anything specific at all. And the same goes for the flavor. It's very weak, although not entirely unpleasant, just, well, weak. I can taste a hint of orange and a little bit more of mint. But neither is strong enough to call this an orange or mint tea. Perhaps my packet was missing some of the ingredients, but this just didn't taste of anything strongly enough for me to want more.

All I could smell from my CommuniTEA packet was the creme flavor so I was happy when I could taste a bit of floral fruit too. I don’t like the creme flavor so I did not like this tea since that was the most prominent flavor in my cup. I used less water for my packet like others recommended and the flavor was strong enough. I iced the last few sips and all I could taste was the creme flavor. My packet was better hot. I wouldn’t drink this one again, but it wasn’t too bad of an experience.

This tea is sweet, mild, and unassuming. The many apple chunks soak up all the flavors and then release them into the water. It brews into a clear, light yellow tea.
The flavor is mainly citrus, light and sweet. There's a hint of mint, but it's less its own flavor and more of a cooling effect added to the fruit flavor. The creme adds a smooth richness that makes for a very pleasant sip.
My only complaint with this tea is that there isn't enough flavor. I think it'd be nice iced, but I'd be worried about being able to brew it strong enough to not get watered down into nothing.

I tried this with CommuniTEA. This seems to need a higher tea-to-water ratio than most, and my cup seemed weak even after a 10 min brew.
The flavor reminded me of both bubblegum and an orange creamsicle by turns, but both were pretty faint. Creamsicle would be okay by me if it weren't so watery. But bubblegum tea is really not my idea of a good time. Maybe a more generous amount of tea per cup would improve things, but the bubblegum notes kinda killed my interest in this one.

Brewed at 212F for 8 minutes with rock sugar added.
There are a ton of apple pieces in here, to the point that, for a moment, I thought that was all I had. The dry tea smells a lot like fruit gum. I'm having trouble describing exactly what the brewed tea smells like; mint-something perhaps. The flavor is light, not too overpowering. I can easily pick out the subtle mint; the rest of the ingredients combine a little too much for my palate to be able to discern. Overall, not a bad tea. I would drink it again.

This tea smells amazing but the flavor is weak in comparison. It may be better with some sugar, but I avoid adding sugar to my drinks. Would I drink it? Yes. Would I buy it? Probably not.

It smells like summer drink and it's sweet. At taste, the mint is really present but I taste the cranberries and the orange. The rose is rather in the aftertaste. The texture is creamy. And yes, I'm very happy that the apples don't come too cut (because it's acid) the sweet and herbal taste of this blend. :)

The first sip of this tea was very minty. I like spearmint better than peppermint. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't taste any of the other flavors. However as I drank the cup, the other flavors started coming through. There is a light orange creamcicle flavor and the floral notes come through. It is a nice light refreshing tea. I think it would be great for late afternoon or evening. The mint also makes it pallet cleansing after a meal. I try not to drink any caffeine after 5 so this may get added to my list.

This herbal tea smelled softly of oranges and mint. The flavor was more blended where no fruit really stood out. Although there were alot of apple pieces in the tea leaf packet., there was not a strong apple taste. Pleasant cup of tea when hot, but lost flavor as it cooled.

It's okay, you really need to add a lot more than you would think to get the flavours to come through. I think if i made this in a smaller cup it would have greatly improved the experience. As it stands I was greeted with an apple-ly bath water with a barley hint of mint. Which is unfortunate.
The aroma when you first open the bag is fantastic however, i would gladly try it again in the future.

I have mixed feelings about this tea. It smelled like a minty creamsicle, but when hot tasted mostly of spearmint and apple. The smell and taste being different was throwing me off. As it cooled the orange flavors started making more of an appearance. I didn't have cranberries in my packet, but the other tangible ingredients could be accounted for, and I can only assume that all the 'flavors' were included. There was only enough in my packet for one small cup, and with it being predominantly apple pieces it didn't hold up to a second steep. I think I might like it better iced than hot, but I'm not sure I liked it enough to bother testing that theory. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 10 min @ 212F)

This is a lovely tea that I had the good fortune to sample before. It has a beautiful distinctive aroma that I recognized even before I logged in to today's CommuniTea. I know quite a few people find this a week tea, but I over brew it and let it cool in the fridge for a little sip of sunshine in my day.

Opening the packet, the overwhelming smell of fake orange poured out. On a second sniff, the very faint hint of mint tried valiantly to join in. Visually, the packet was filled with apples, with one lone rose hip hiding in the midst. No cranberry showed up in my little gang of suspects. Steeping at 212 degrees for 12 minutes, this tea tried but failed to eek out some sort of potion. Sadly it was completely flavorless. It smelled all right, but even adding a bit of sugar failed to make it taste like anything. This Summer Night just ended in a nightmare unfortunately.

I mostly like this - the fruit and mint work well together and it's a (mostly) refreshing cup of tea. The creme flavor is coming through very strong in my cup though and the aftertaste is... odd. This could be the mix in my sample packet, but while I enjoy actively drinking it, I'll be drinking something right else afterwards to rinse the taste out.

I wanted to like this so much, but I think the apple pieces overwhelmed the mixture in volume (but are lacking in flavor). All I tasted was a sad sage mint water. In theory, I should have loved this tea as it contains all my favorite ingredients in herbal teas. I think if the apple proportions were reduced, the blend would be more to my liking. Points for the idea though.

The package was filled with apples but all I smelled was orange zest. Bitter. There was some residue at bottom of cup. I’m one of those who likes the fruit orange but not orange muffins. Same thing with raisins. I like them in a box but don’t put them in bread. I thought this tea was too bitter for me and did not drink most of it. I did not taste the apples or other things just the orange zest and mint and didn’t like it.

I picked up a sample of this tea (or was gifted it?) over the summer, but I'm reviewing it as part of the communiTEA. Someone in the portion scheduling department is dreaming of warmer days and brighter evenings today as they've scheduled a summer tea in the dead of winter. The scent in the packet is minty orange creamsicle - inviting multiple sniffs. The taste is intensely sweet to my deep-ketosis palate (I'm doing a reset), with the cream and apples hitting front and center, the orange running far behind, and a faint memory of spearmint and cranberry bringing up the rear. I'm a bit sensitive to apples, so after a few sips I had to stop drinking because my stomach was feeling weird. One star off for threatening to cause me GI distress, but five stars for flavor. (30 mins @ 212 F, no additions)

Reviewing this tea in my CommunitTEA packet today. This is a very light, very subtle fruity tea. I suspect that a larger sample would include more ingredients. I steeped this tea for 5 minutes at 212° F, took a sip, and and added 4 minutes. I tasted vanilla, mint, and apple. Although not listed as an ingredient, I also detected a slight pineapple flavor.

This tea grew on me...the more I sipped the more I liked it! It seemed really mild at first, even having steeped for 10min. However, with each sip the flavors developed and came thru. Wish it had more orange, but I'm sure that it was just lacking in my CommuniTea sample. Overall, it was really enjoyable.

My CommuniTEA packet contained mainly apple pieces, a couple of cranberries, and a few tiny fragments of mint leaves and rose petals so I may not have gotten the full flavor of this tea. Dry it smells like slightly minty oranges. I steeped once at 212° for the full 10 minutes and it came out a light green color, with sweet orange, light mint, and a bit of cream in the aroma. The flavor is very light, with just hints of fruitiness and a background note of spearmint. I enjoyed it with nothing added, but it would also be nice with a bit of sugar or agave. The flavor was just too weak and barely-there for my preferences to give it 5 stars, but I would buy a larger sample bag to try using a couple more teaspoons to get a stronger flavor.

I had a whole orchard full of apple chunks in my communiTEA packet! I left the two rose petals in. I couldn’t detect the presence of any safflower or cranberry. However, several rose hips, marigold threads, and a tiny bit of spearmint leaves were seen. Pleasant fruit and creme aromas were noted.
In the cup, a very mild tartness was noted. I added a bit of sugar to help bring out flavors.
When hot, very mild apple and smooth creme flavors were noted..
When warm, moderate apple and mild orange flavors were noted. Very mild rose hip tastes added an acceptable bit of tartness to the deal. Very mild spearmint flavors were a surprise. Mild floral tastes were added by the rose petals. A moderate creaminess was noted.
At the end, everything melded together to provide me a with a fruity and minty flavored sip. However, the creamy mouthfeel combined with mint did not work nicely on my palate. (7 mins @ 212ºF, 1/4 tsp sugar)

I saw another reviewer describe this as tasting 'like an orange creamsicle with a hint of mint.' That is exactly what it tastes like! i personally wanted it to be stronger, so make sure you taste it before you toss the tea bag in case you need to brew longer.

Nice soft, fruity herbal with a hint of mint. Predominant taste was orange. Steeped 10 min in 16 ounces of water with nothing added. I’d drink this tea anytime, but it’s not a favorite that would lead to a purchase. I’d potentially experiment with mixing these flavors with green tea.
