One of my favorite teas! The combination of fruity with a hint of spearmint makes for a wonderful cup of tea in the evening.
While not one I would put as one of my favorites or as a preference, I can tell that it is a good tea for those that lean towards this flavor.
This one is a huge hit with my kids, and it smells amazing. It's light and fruity and pretty forgiving if you let it brew too long.
The faint aroma on opening the CommuniTEA packet was that of a creamsicle. It brewed a light yellow color. Mint was only noted as a hint of an aroma, not a taste. 1/4 tsp of Monkfruit sweetener was added to try to enhance some of the flavor, but it did not work. For some reason I was getting more of a lemon taste as it cooled. I might prefer this one iced. Maybe I will buy a sample but I am not ready to commit to a bigger bag.
(10 min @ 212)
This one is interesting. It smells kind of intense in the bag, but it ends up being pretty subtle to the point where I recommend steeping it for at least 10 minutes. The flavor is night and light, great for a summer night.
Great tea good flavor, I would recommend it if you like fruity. Would I buy it again . Yes I may. Thank you
The individual flavors work together nicely, the end result is almost a bubblegum flavor - but not overly sweet.
This is my favorite of all the teas I have tried so far. The touch of mint makes it such a soothing cup of tea. I will buy this one again for sure.
Love, love, love this one!! Ordered it during the summer thinking it would only be available then. Found it available again in October!
Not just a summer tea. Great year round. I buy and make for my sister, but I drink too She loves this comfort tea. Great add in is lavender.
A blend that is almost there. I definitely enjoyed it in summer, but it was not a blend I sought out on my own until I was running out of other non-caffeine teas.
This is light, floral and perfect summer tea. I used it in the iced tea pitcher for an afternoon delight.
Sweet tea, with an almost creamy undertone, this makes for a pleasant tea hot or iced in the summer.
This was a surprise hit for me. Love the creamsicle vibes paired with a touch of spearmint for freshness. Made for a lovely cold steeped tea.
I tried this tea as a Communitea flavor and loved it from the first sip. It has a delicious fruity flavor
Unique fruity taste great summer notes, great as an inches tea
Today's sample tea was extremely mild in flavor. And I'm rating it three stars, just 'ok', as I'm squarely in the no opinion zone on this one. The many ingredients listed on the packet suggest a flavor palette of some kind. The many chunks of apple, the various tea leaves, chopped herbs and berries looked promising in the infuser but were not aromatic.
Four oz. of chunky looking tea tumbled out of my CT packet.
Brewed 12oz. at 212*F for 20 min. The steeped liquor had a beautiful golden yellow color with a taste of subtle herbs that were more of a hush than a definite flavor. However, there was a surprising effect of a minty glow after many sips. Since I hadn't smelled or tasted mint, I rechecked the ingredients on the packet to find spearmint listed among them. This gentle energizing sensation was pleasant and surprising. My opinion, therefore, is aligned with those in the middle. I didn't dislike the tea because I enjoyed the pleasing minty afterglow but I didn't experience enough taste of any flavor to entice me to purchase and drink more. For comparison, I brewed Adagio Chamomile tea that is also golden in color and mild in taste that might come close to the nature of today's sample tea. I found the Chamomile tea had a definite flavor that could be characterized as woodsy. Today's tea was not a part of any flavor group that I could identify but the warmth of a minty ending boosted my rating to three stars. This soft and breezy tea is a nice enough sip on occasion but wouldn't be a part of my summer tea rotation.
This is an odd duck tea, it tastes like I put a bunch of scoops of tea randomly together, it's not terrible and I'm always happy to tea, this just isnt something ide reach for.
Summer night was a bit light on flavor to me. I had lots of apples and 2 cranberries in my 3.5g. Steeped 10 min at 212. It had a nice aroma but the taste didn’t match. CT 8/9/2023.
This was an interesting tisane with a bit of mint thrown in there. I didn't know if I would like the mixture of fruit and mint but it wasn't bad. This mint wasn't at all over powering. Added some sweetner and it was a nice iced drink.
I usually love Adaigio's fruit tisanes and was surprised that I didn't like this one. It tastes like cough syrup to me. I didn't get any fruit flavors just medicine. This definitely isn't the tea for me.
I can smell orange and mint, you can taste hint orange. Not my cup of tea.
I was pleasantly surprised as to how much flavor was in the tea. It did not have much color. Tasty
Alight tea with an aroma and taste to me of an orange creamsicle. I added a little honey.
I brewed this hot but left it to steep all day. I saw mostly apple pieces in my packet. I drank this iced and I wasn't sure what I thought with my first sip. It was oddly sweet and I couldn't identify the flavors I was tasting. After a few more sips , I realized I was drinking a Creamsicle. Didn't taste much mint, but that's OK. What an interesting blend!
Would never think to mix Mint and Orange—the thought reminds me of being a kid, brushing my teeth in the morning and drinking a juice too soon after. But somehow, this tea doesn’t just work, it’s a delight. I added 1 sweetener and a bit of almond milk and I think that really rounded it all out.
Would have again for sure
Despite no caffeine during the weekday, I rather liked this one. I typically do not favor fruit based teas, but thought this one was rather subtle and nice.
I really enjoyed this blend of orange, cranberry, and spearmint. It surprised me but I was sad when the cup was empty. I steeped for 10 minutes at 212 degrees and added just a little agave.
I wasn't sure how I felt about this tea upon opening the packet. The aroma was... confusing? I just didn't know what to do with all the things hitting my nose at once. But my goodness, this tea truly evokes a summer night, reminding me of the crisp, cool mountain air of the Blue Ridge after a warm, sunny day. The mint and orange actually do work well together and give the feeling of the sun shining on your face while a breeze cools your skin and tousles your hair. I've also cold-steeped it and loved it this way, too. The flavours are delicate, but I felt like the orange was a little more distinguishable this way than in the hot steep. Either way, it's high on my list. Almost heaven...
This tea is a very solid meh for me. The scent is fabulous, but the taste is a weak, slightly minty nondescript flavor. Not a tea for me.
A fantastic herbal sip on a rainy summer afternoon! My sample packet was heavy on apple pieces, citrus, and light on mint, so it had a distinct creamsicle vibe that I really enjoyed!
perfect for those, well, warm summer nights. perfectly delicious when chilled
Enjoyable fruity, minty herbal that was yummy iced. The pomegranate brings a tartness that pairs nicely with orange. There is only a whisper or hint of mint. Cheers!
Not bad but it tastes like the bubblegum I got when I was a kid and I'd rather not drink it
Orange, cream, and a hint of mint work together to make a light, naturally sweet, and very summery feeling tisane. It's an interesting flavor combination, and yes, I can understand the comparison to an orange creamsicle. I'm not a fan of orange creamsicles, but the suggestion of mint adds just enough to make this tea pleasantly sip-able for me. Cold-brewed it's rather refreshing; I only had one serving to work with in my CommuniTEA pouch, but it would be interesting to try it hot, too.
10 oz, 10 mins @ 212* F, divided. Cream in hot, sweetener in both.
Hot
This is delicious. I mostly taste orange with just the faintest bit of mint. I've enjoyed orange with mint since I was a child, so this brings back memories.
Cold
Equally good. No one flavor overpowers the other.
Yum! This was so good! I loved the fruitiness and how the Creme flavor tied it all together. I only got a hint of spearmint and it mostly tasted of oranges and Creme. It was also fun eating all the fruit after I was done brewing it. I’m definitely getting this one again.
Not a bad tisane as long as you make it with more tea/less water. This was mildly minty, sweet and tart. It was enjoyable, but I probably wouldn't buy as there are others at Adagio that I prefer better.
Good interesting flavor. Nice natural sweet taste without adding sweetener. Unfortunately my nose starts ticking and running when I drink this one. There is something in here that my sinuses don't like. :(
I have to laugh because I agree with the person who said the scent is exactly like st joseph's baby aspirin - it is! Unfortunately the taste is as well; orange and chalky. mostly apple pieces but didn't taste like them? to me, this isn't really a tea.
A lot better than I would have thought. I love the creamsicle taste and the mint is not overpowering. Interesting and good. Wish more of Adagio's orange teas would have this delicate flavor.
Only have a hint of mint, mostly creme with apple and orange popping for my sample. I guess I got lucky, as mine tasted pretty good compared to other samples. I agree with others think orange creamsicle. Add double/2tsp per 8oz to get normal brew strength (light in taste at 1 tsp/8oz)
I tasted mostly orange notes. Enjoyed this tea in the evening due to its lack of caffeine.
In the bag: Most of my packet is apple pieces. A few rose hips join them, along with a few finely chopped spearmint leaves and safflowers.
On the nose (pre-steep): Orange is the main flavor. A very subtle rose and mint combination in the background. Semi-sweet.
On the nose (post-steep): A mild combo of mint and orange.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Orange and rose seem to be the main flavors. A hint of mint is here as well. A mild, natural sweetness. No astringency.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change.
Opinion: A pleasant, quaffable blend. Flavors are light and comforting. I could imagine this flavor made into a cocktail.
Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
I observe the summer holiday Lughnasadh in August. It celebrates the sun, the beginning of the harvest and the promise of autumn. This tea really represents the celebration of the hot sun with the fruity hit. I taste the promise of the fall with the cranberries! Great tea.
Good to drink during day or night! I like to drink it before bed or during a chill board game night! Fruity and tart but not too overpowering. Very pleasant
This makes such a lovely iced tea! I cold brew it overnight and have a refreshing drink to take to work. I was initially skeptical on how well mint & citrus would go together, but it's very balanced and tastes like a minty creamsicle in the best sense.
Not too bad, pretty mild at the recommended amount but much better if you double it up and do 2 or more teaspoons per cup. I mixed it with decaf vanilla and it made for a pleasant evening tea.
ice or cold this tea taste so good! we added some honey perfect for picnics or after dinner tea to satisfy your sugar cravings
