Spearmint Customer Reviews

Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

★★★★★

I love spearmint tea! So fresh and mint and soothing without the 'bite' that peppermint sometimes has.

★★★★★

I got this one through the CommuniTEA. Again, not a fan of mint in tea so I'll instead share my boyfriend's opinion. He rates it an 11/7.

★★★★★

So good hot or iced with a dollop of the Herbal Tea honey!

A very mellow mint. Really helps to relax your mind.

★★★★★

There’s really not much to say about this one. It’s spearmint! And spearmint is yummy! There was no need for sweetener, and the flavor is light and smooth. Can’t go wrong with this mint tea!

★★★★★

I thought it was peppermint I loved as a child. I was so wrong. Send me all the spearmint, please!

★★★★☆

It’s mint tea, really can’t go wrong. Would be good in a mint julep.

★☆☆☆☆

Had a weird aftertaste I couldn't place. I like mint flavored teas but didn't care for this one at all, because of the odd aftertaste it had.

★★★★★

I really like mint teas. This tea is so nice and refreshing iced.

Love this tea, a bit milder than straight peppermint

★★★★☆

It's spearmint. You are either going to like it, or you are going to dislike it (and probably already know which category you fall in). I prefer it sweetened, and it can be refreshing if chilled/cold.

★★★★☆

A nice after dinner treat. Lighter than peppermint. A bit of refreshing sweetness and palate cleansing.

★★★★★

I had an apartment once that had a spearmint bush in the back yard and I fell in love with spearmint tea. This tea was a wonderful reminder of that time of my life as well as a lovely cup of tea. Spearmint remains one of my favorite types of mint tea and a go to whenever I have an upset stomach.

★★★★★

This has been my favorite tea so far! So refreshing. I think it would be good iced too.

★★★★★

An awesome alternative to peppermint, with a bit more sweetness to it than it. So tasty.

★★★★☆

Refreshing and well balanced
Great early evening tea

★★★★☆

Not one I would normally buy but just may have to. Very refreshing.

★★★★☆

This was a good peppermint 'tea', although probably the best use for this tea would be to mix in with other teas to add that nice minty fresh flavor.

It was okay. I wasn't sure I would like it at all but there is something there that I kind of like.

Herbal tea isn’t usually my jam, but there’s something about a classic spearmint tea that I enjoy. Smooth, refreshing, and a well-rounded flavor...you can’t really go wrong!

★★★★★

This is some good quality mint tea. I love the refreshing quality.

★★★★☆

This one is great iced with a splash of lemonade, its so cooling and refreshing, perfect on a hot summer afternoon, to cool off with. On its own its just okay, but the lemonade really becomes elevated by it, this combination really takes it up a notch for me.

★★★★★

I love this tea hot or iced. Mint is a favorite with me. A great bedtime tea, soothing for a tummy ache. Perfect for relaxing on a rainy day, or winding down in the evening any time of year. It sounds odd but this pairs nicely with my favorite Moroccan meal.

★★★☆☆

This is about as basic as an herbal tea can get. At the end of the day, it's just ground and died spearmint. It's a solid and respectable classic, but nothing to get too excited about.

★★★★☆

I do prefer peppermint but this was still very nice!

★★★★☆

Nice calming tea. I enjoyed it better them Camomile or peppermint.

★★★★☆

Definitely warmer on the tongue than peppermint, it tastes a bit pepper-y (like black pepper) towards the end. I feel like it'd be good mixed with a chai or cinnamon tea.

★★★☆☆

I received this tea as part of the Communitea box. I do not like any type of mint tea, so I wouldn't have ordered it for myself. The quality of this tea seems high and it has a strong mint flavor. I combined mine with black tea leaves to make iced tea and I liked it much better that way.

★★★★★

Great tea! Very suttle and soothing. Would taste great iced!

★★★★★

Spearmint tea is delicious, but it isn’t actually tea. It is one of the two “indigenous” non-tea teas of the US. I used to make stock pots full of it for my children. They never knew it had no sugar.

★★★★★

Timeless favorite. I love mint tea all year long. Especially when I have a cold and it's great for the sinuses. Clears you out, this one in particular is amazing and fresh.

Love this mint tea. It smells and tastes very good.

★★★★★

Better than a stick of Doublemint gum! This tea tastes very fresh and has plenty of the cooling sweetness I love about spearmint. I added a tiny bit of sweetener to soften the bitterness of the leaf, and that made it ideal. Fun fact: two cups of spearmint tea a day may help control hormonal acne in some women. It works as a mild testosterone suppressor, so unless you're looking for that, enjoy in moderation!

Nice alternative to peppermint. I haven't felt enjoyed this in any blends because it can be overpowering but on its own it's nice, especially iced.

★★★☆☆

It’s strong. I’m not much of a mint person. But thats just me. I couldn’t get the smell out of the way of the flavor. Think this would be soothing when your stomach is upset.

★☆☆☆☆

One sip and I have no interest in drinking this. I see this as an ingredient for making a blend. It’s much too overpowering alone.

★★★★★

“ Strong, but pleasant minty, woodsy, nutty flavors and aromas were noted from start to finish. This one cleared my fuzzy little morning mind nicely and made my tummy smile. Got me kick-started! Unlike spearmint gum, you don’t gotta do any chewing ... Very nice. (7 mins @ 212F)”

A nice earthy taste! The mint is not as overpowering as expected, making for a nice soft tea.

Even though I grow my own, I always run out before my next crop is ready.
A totally refreshing tea both hot and cold.

★★★★★

I drink this every evening. Soothing. Nice change from peppermint.

★★★★★

Expensive, but any other spearmint tea I've bought for cheaper is weak and tastes awful.

★★★★★

Good by itself or added to other teas. I like my chamomile but I don't find the taste all that pleasant. Adding a pinch of spearmint takes slight chamomile bitterness away.
I also add this to gun powder green tea. Although I steep the mint first then I add the green tea so the green tea leaves don't burn.

Love this cool refreshing tea. It's a bit stronger than peppermint(which has been my go to).

★★★★★

We buy this primarily to make iced tea. We've tried a lot of Adagio's iced teas, and this is still my kids' absolute favorite iced tea. I think it has a nicer iced tea when you steep it hot (rather than overnight in the fridge as Adagio recommends for its actual iced teas).

★★★★☆

Purchased to mix with Citrus Mint Green. A good refreshing iced tea.

★★★★★

This is my favorite. Not overwhelming very delightful taste.

★★★★☆

Not too different from the classic peppermint, but soothing all the same.

★★★★☆

I like this alot but I prefer the peppermint a little over this.

★★★☆☆

I like peppermint tea and had never tried spearmint so I gave this a shot. It wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t a fan of the earthier flavor of this compared to peppermint tea.

Let me preface this by saying I don't usually like minty teas, but I've had a few on here that surprised me, so I gave it a shot. Not for me.
