I absolutely love pomegranate in tea, but found this one to have the wrong combination for me after 8 minutes of steeping. It smelt amazing as it reminded me of delicious fall dessert, but the taste was just not there hot. Perhaps it would be better iced because of its fruity flavor.
Update: this tea is delicious hot or cold, it just took time for me to warm up to it. I prefer it iced over hot though. Iced it’s a five star tea, but hot it’s a three star tea.

This yummy tea reminds me of a fruity apple cider. The spices are just right!

This blend is wonderful - pomegranate and hibiscus are juicy and tart on the palette, while cinnamon and ginger add a spicy zing. While this isn't a go-to flavor profile for me, this blend does exactly what it is trying to do. Very well done!

Tart and sweet. The Hibiscus isn't overpowering and the cinnamon and ginger add enough heat to balance everything out.

This is a very nice, gentle fruity tea. Its primary flavor is fruit but it is not overwhelming, and it's quite nice and aromatic and has a beautiful color. The raspberry jump out to me, as I believe it's one of the stronger flavors in there, and it's quite nice, even as someone who's not particularly fond of raspberries. It's well balanced amongst the other flavors. This is an incredibly relaxing and fantastic herbal tea; it's worth a try!

Update 2022: I took a star off because my CommuniTEA packet tasted like soap today. I wish I had found the rose petals and removed them. I am discovering I really don't like rose in my tea at all, not even a little bit.
Original review: This has a lot of hibiscus which will determine if you like it or not. I prefer it sweetened to balance the tart flavor. It might taste better iced, several hibiscus based teas do.

This one had too much of a floral taste to me. Floral flavors aren't really my thing though. I would have preferred stronger apple and cinnamon flavors. It was actually better cold.

This tea was just okay for me, I mostly got a tart apple flavor from the hibiscus and apples with a slight spice from the cinnamon. I needed to add sugar because of how tart the tea was, which I was also hoping would bring out the pomegranate, but ultimately I only got vague 'fruit' flavor.

This is the red fruit mulled wine herbal caffeine free tea I have been looking for the past few years! This is winter in a late evening cup. *Adds to cart*

This tea is so tasty! A nice one for summer, busy somehow also a great tea for the winter. The ginger and cinnamon add in are so great. The berry flavor is not too much. I used one sweet and low packet.

I enjoyed this spicy fruit tisane late in the evening. I really liked the strong spiciness at the bottom of my cup. I steeped about 8 ounces of 212 degree water for 10 minutes and added rock sugar.

CommuniTEA 11/2/22: delicious fruity tea, heavy on the apple and light on the cinnamon. I used too much water so mine was a little diluted, but overall one I can see myself drinking a lot!

I really enjoyed this tea! It reminds of spiced apple rings that we would always have with holiday meals. I brewed my CommuniTEA sample with 8oz water, for 10 mins @ 210°F, and added some sugar.

Not sure what is making this creamy but it has helped tone down the rose hip. I am not a fan of rose hips but the other flavors on the tea paired well and toned the acidity.

A tart, zinger of a blend. When hot, the hibiscus and rosehips take center stage and are the dominant flavours. They don't make it sour, per se, just exceptionally zingy to the tongue. Adding a touch of agave didn't change that or much else. As it cooled, the pomegranate was detectable, with the barest hints of orange following after. There wasn't any taste of the cinnamon or ginger.

It's a very fruity cup. Sourish. It tastes like christmas. Just not to my tastes.

I was concerned about the potential tartness of this tea, given that it contained hibiscus, pomegranate, and raspberry leaves, so I cold-brewed it. I’m so glad I did. Yes, it has some tartness to it but it wasn’t overdone. I enjoyed the fruity flavors of it and would gladly have it again. Next time I have a chance, I will try it hot brewed.

A punch of pomegranate with a hint of orange! Quite good, but a bit too tart for my taste.

CommuniTEA portion: Cold steeped overnight for about 12 hours. I decided to cold steep this one once I saw the ingredients. Beautiful color! Fruity, but more tart than I would prefer. The hibiscus seemed to be the strongest note. If you are into tarty fruity teas - this is for you!

The CommuniTEA packet smelled good when I opened it up. I steeped for 7 minutes at 212°. Not much taste or color. I poured it back into the pot for another 3 minutes. Not much more color, but a bit more flavor. This disappointed me, I had been expecting more color and flavor.

More of a 3.5. I get more apple than anything else. There are also notes of cinnamon and brown sugar, not much pomegranate taste. Drinkable and pleasant but also missing a wow factor.

212 degrees for 10 minutes. In all actuality, I probably let this steep more like 30 minutes. You know, that walk away and forgot it kind of steep. Luckily, this tea is very forgiving about that kind of thing.
Only slightly tart with smooth cinnamon undertones, this pomegranate tea is perfect for a cool autumn afternoon.

CommuniTEA Review:
This tea smelled delicious when I opened the packet. A nice mix of spices and fruit. When brewed this tea has a beautiful dark pink color that I only see in a few teas I've ever had and also smells like spiced apple and Hibiscus. I was really excited to try this tea since pomegranates are one of my favorite fruits and I really appreciate low to no caffeine teas since I'm sensitive to caffeine. However to me the primary flavor of this tea is the hibiscus with an aftertaste of spiced apple. I'm not a fan of hibiscus flavor so this tea was kind of disappointing to me,

November 2nd 2022 CommuniTea day. As it steeps this tea turns from plain clear water to a dark reddish-purple color. which is really pretty! However, I mainly taste Raspberry, and I dislike raspberry. I could smell the cinnamon but cannot taste it at the forefront, only getting a hint of it as an aftertaste. It's okay, but I don't think it's for me. :)

Steeped for 9 minutes.
I was really excited for this because it sounded delicious. However, it really didn't have much flavor to it. Tried adding splenda as well but didn't really help at all.

I don’t normally like pomegranate and hibiscus, they are both a little too tart in tea for me. But this ended up tasting more like cranberry and mulled wine. The fruit flavor was deep, but delicate, with gentle spice to help bring it all together

I think this tastes more like rose hips than pomegranate, but I like rose hips so that’s not a bad thing. The cinnamon works really well with the rose hips, too.

I cold brew almost everything now, and I would’ve preferred this one without the cinnamon. The pomegranate flavor is OK, and I get that they were maybe going for a mulled wine kind of feel but it just didn’t hit the right notes for me.

In the bag: A bulky, autumn-colored blend. Big apple pieces and rose petals and a few tiny rose hips bring bright colors to the party.
On the nose (pre-steep): Smells like red apple and cinnamon coming together in a candy. A delicious, rich smell. Hint of pomegranate.
On the nose (post-steep): Flavor profile is mostly the same. Pomegranate is a little stronger. The rich candy smell is reduced.
On the tongue: Flavor is much tamer. The strong candy tone has been completely washed out. I can pick out a bit of the apple and pomegranate.
Opinion: Not my favorite. It smelled like a candy I would love, but the steep took all the flavor out of it.
Preparation: 8 min @ 212 ℉

This tea has a weak flavor of fruit with a hint of spice. Its intensity is similar to Dragon Fruit Dream but the mix of spice with the fruit makes it a bit less palatable. No pomegranate flavor directly noted, and the strong aftertaste - a combination of pine and grenadine? - isn't my favorite. I prefer this as an iced tea, but either way, it's not my favorite.

UPDATED from 12/13/21: This is a delicious tea if you like spicy and tart (which I do!). There is a berry/ginger aroma upon opening the CommuniTEA packet. It steeps into a beautiful, berry red liquid. No particular flavor jumps out as I sip, they all combine to make a lovely tart pomegranate flavor. Those rose hips and raspberries are really doing their job bringing the sour. The apple supports them all, while the ginger and cinnamon provide some sweet, spicy heat. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) makes this more of a sweet /tart candy flavor (one of my favorites). The sour flavor lingers into the finish. Zero caffeine is great, but sadly the cup empties too quickly, and this only steeps well once. So glad I have a sample bag of this in my cupboard so I can make more! (10 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).

Is it strange to say that this tea smells like Christmas? Well, specifically it smells like the glaze on the Christmas ham that my grandma makes every year. It doesn't taste like that, though. Spicy from the cinnamon and ginger and tart from the pomegranate, orange and rose hips. Also, there's a bit of sweetness from the apples and raspberry. Overall, very delicious and it gives me good Christmasy vibes when I drink it.
