I sent this tea as a gift to my sister and she found a wonderful extra use for it, she used it as a base for homemade Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream! She wrapped the leaves in cheesecloth and seeped them in the hot ice cream base and the results were outstanding! Not to mention it makes a great tea!
Upon my first taste, this was like drinking hot dental floss (it was my first mint tea). However, it's really grown on me and now I like it. Plus it leaves your breath minty fresh!
It has been a long time since I have had any mint teas, so I was quite delighted to have a piping hot cup of this when I got home today. It warmed me right up, and the energizing and brisk peppermint flavor made me feel more alert, even though this is a caffeine-free tea! Lovely!

Wow! I tried this tea mixed with the Valentine's tea. I used half the recommended amount per cup, and steeped for 10 minutes, and it still far overpowered my poor Valentine flavor. I'm fine with it though, because the peppermint was quite refreshing. I bought a 3oz package without sampling and I don't regret it.
The peppermint is way too over powering for my tastes.
i mix this with a local honey and each sip is soothing and full of comfort. i will be gifting this one to friends and family.
This is really good in the afternoons when you want something warm and calming. It is really good with some lemon juice and honey for a sore throat.

How could anyone not like peppermint tea? Great aroma from the second you open the bag/tin and it's extremely healthy. It's great anytime, but as others have pointed out, it's especially effective in soothing your stomach after eating.
It's peppermint tea, so it's hard to go wrong. Love drinking it at night. Helps clear my chest, head, and sinuses.

Such a classic. Great on it's own or mixed with almost anything. Clean and refreshing, adagio's peppermint can't be beat!
