Peppermint is one of my favorite teas and this one is great! Strong and minty!!

I almost feel silly reviewing this tea. Peppermint is such a familiar flavor that I hardly know what to say without being reductive. This tea is minty, it tastes like mint, it has a minty aroma and a minty flavor.

Okay, more thoughtfully, there's the way it relaxes one to drink, the cool sensation it leaves in the mouth that lingers after you swallow a sip, the surprisingly dark color of the tea--all add up to a pleasant experience, and I'm glad to drink it.

It's high-quality mint tea, and most people will come to this knowing if that's what they want or not. I enjoy it, but I find it a little simple on its own, I suppose.

You need to like peppermint to like this tea. I am not a fan of most peppermint. This is just peppermint and peppermint alone. If you like peppermint, you will probably love this. It just was not for me.

Ah, peppermint. The scent hits as soon as you open the packet to let you know exactly what you're in for. A 5 minute steep makes a cup that is rusty and darker than I was expecting from an herbal tea, but it's a smooth and pleasant sipping experience. And the peppermint flavor is robust - creating that hot and cold sensation from the mouth to the stomach, where it can help with a variety of ailments. The minty feeling lingers on after the tea is finished as a lovely little reminder. This tea would be great hot after eating a big dinner, or blended with another flavor for a refreshing iced tea.

Solid peppermint tea. Peppermint is one of my daily favorites. This tea is good for two steeps. I take it without sugar and it's nice and smooth.

★★★★★

Mint is towards the bottom of the list of flavors I enjoy in mixed/blended profiles, but when it’s by itself it’s delightful. I’ll be second steeping this tea today!

There's little as good as peppermint tea that's actual crushed peppermint leaves. Fragrant, crisp and so very very good!

★★★★★

Pure peppermint in a cup. It's delightful, minty, and with just the right amount of sugar, makes for a pleasant treat.

★★★★☆

A very smooth and flavorful peppermint tea. No frills here, just good taste! I steeped for about 9 minutes (suggested 5 to 10), and was very pleased with the result.

★★★★★

Good strong flavor! I got the loose leaf but I'd also try the sachets.

★★★★★

This is my go to herbal tea and has been for years. Adagio's is the best in flavor I've ever had. It blends really well with other teas too, particularly the chocolate truffle

This is some pretty high quality peppermint! That said, I prefer mint mixed into teas, like gunpowder green or combined with other soothing herbs. It seems like something that could be great to soothe an upset stomach though!

★★★★★

Of all the mints, peppermint is my favorite. This tea is fresh and minty.

★★★★☆

Its peppermint. Standard, strong, minty, the sane as 100s you can find elsewhere

★★★★★

This is a favorite. I've always gone for cheap bagged peppermint teas, but this held up to multiple steepings (including me just being too lazy to take the basket out of the teapot), and was just refreshingly not bitter the entire time.

★★★★★

Love this tea. Very good to settle the stomach or just to enjoy in the evening before bed.

★★★★★

This is one of my go-to herbal teas from Adagio. I have a cup of this blend before bed most evenings. You really can't go wrong with a classic like peppermint!

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas to drink, plant to cook with an essential oil. This tea is full of flavor, but best for me at 7 minutes steep time with just a little sweetener.

What can I say? Peppermint tea is always a joy in which to imbibe. It's smooth flavor, cooling sensation, and calming effects are the ultimate stress reliever. This pure peppermint leaf tea is a great jumping off place for people just beginning their tea journey. Just a tiny bit (and I do mean tiny) of added sweetener enhances the peppermint, and increases the smoothness to that it tastes like you're drinking a melted candy cane. Happy holidays!

Steeped at 212° for 10 mins. I LOVE any mint tea but this one is just fantastic. Crisp aroma, and cooling finish, i love it hot, i love it iced, i love to blend it. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA December box, I've purchased it before. Its a staple for any tea cabinet.

AHHHHHH! The quintessential smell of the Christmas season for me Peppermint Candy Canes!! Peppermint is always one of those soothing things for me. Upset stomach?  Go to peppermint. Wonky day that isn't going well? Go to the peppermint. This had the classic strong minty smell that I so associate with candy canes the moment I cut into the packet and the aroma just wound its way into my nose and seemingly into my soul. I love this tea even if it is likely one of the most basic and common.

If you love straight up peppermint, you will love this tea. The mintiness lingers in your mouth like you’ve just eaten an Altoid mint. Very refreshing with a bit of added rock sugar.

today's tea is a simple but impressive one! The scent is lovely, fresh and clean, the colour brews up to a lovely light yellowish shade. The taste, clean, pure, minty and fresh. This tea can be enjoyed anytime, morning, noon and night. It can be dressed up or enjoyed in it's plain, unadulterated state. It is, in essence, a little black dress of teas...
I have some of this in my cupboard at all times to help ease stomach aches, and I like to add it to other teas to help elevate those that are just blah. This will always be a winner!

If you like peppermint, you can't go wrong with this tea. Minty fresh aroma and taste, even with no caffeine it gets you up and going. It would also be a great tea to mix (think chocolate).

If it looks like peppermint, smells like peppermint, & tastes like peppermint, then it must be peppermint.
I've never tried peppermint tea by itself, so I did take a few sips of it straight before combining it with my blend (which I steeped in a separate cup just for this reason)...
It tasted like peppermint. Left a tingling on the tongue & a freshness on the breath.
Would I opt to drink peppermint on its own again? I wouldn't turn it away, but I do prefer it in blends. Like today, I combined it with a vanilla almond mix, which helped tone down the bite just a bit.

Strong minty flavors in this one, duh. Not my thing, but might be yours.

The mint coated my mouth and left a lingering menthol effect.

I love this tea so much. The cooling effect from the peppermint lasts well longer than each sip. I love peppermint and I love how this tastes in blends, but I like it even more on its own because it's even stronger. It's like liquefying a candy cane. Love it so much!
