★★★☆☆

Generally not a fan of herbals, but light and balanced.

★★★☆☆

Not a fan of lemongrass and ginger in general but this one is an over the top no go for me.

★★★★☆

This one is consumed for its benefits rather than its flavor, and I’m not a big fan of either lemongrass or ginger. So taking this into account, the tea is drinkable and not overly unpleasant. I hope the ingredients do everything they’re supposed to do for flu season.

Very pleasant tea with ginger undertones and licorice notes.

★★★★★

I actually really enjoyed this tea. The lemongrass and ginger blend really well together.

★★★★☆

I thought this tea was refreshing and gingery. I liked drinking it at night to relax.

★★★★★

Mmm, gingery! I forgot about my cup on the counter, so this tea steeped quite a bit longer than I meant it to... but that doesn't seem to have hurt anything. The ginger and licorice are well-balanced against the lemon grass, making for a cup that's bright without being overly spicy, and soothing without being overly medicinal. Bravo, tea blenders! (~20 mins @ 212 F, no sweetener)

I received this sample in the CommuniTEA box, and it exceeded my expectations. I am not the biggest fan of ginger, which is why it’s surprising that I liked this tea. I definitely plan on purchasing more, especially as we begin to descend into the colder months (aka cold & flu szn).

A light tea. The flavors were mild and pleasant. A bit of a spicy after taste.

★★★★★

This was very throat soothing. A little stevia made it delicious. I'd have this anytime I needed a soother.

★★★★★

Its a light, lemongrass ginger herbal tea. Went down smoothly.

★★★★★

The ginger is much more potent when it's dry, but the lemon reigns supreme once steeped. The ginger & other flavors are still there, but they mostly boost the overall flavor, & are more noticable on the exhale. There are a lot of flavors I don't know how to pick out, but I do know I really like this blend!

I was worried the anise and lavender flavors would make me dislike this, and I don’t! I do, however, find that the ginger flavor could be stronger.

This is one of those teas I will probably always have a supply of. It’s very tasty and caffeine free. I like it better with a bit of honey.

★★★★★

This is a lovely, flavorful tea. The flavors blend very well together.

The smell of the freshly opened pouch was so lemony that I was expecting a citrus-forward flavor. With that expectation, the taste disappointed. But, when I realigned my expectations for an herbal profile, it was more pleasant. I am not at all a fan of liquorish, and the mint aggravated my stomach today. But, my throat does feel better after having drunk a cup.

★★★★☆

It tastes like a pretty standard wellness tea, but very good. I like ginger so I was happy that it was the primary flavor. I could also taste some of the licorice but it didn’t bother me and paired well with the other ingredients. I would consider getting this for those times when you need a tummy tamer.

★★★★★

A very pleasant lemon-ginger tea. I steeped it for about 7 minutes at 212 degrees and the strength of the ginger was just right for me and no honey was needed to make it drinkable. If I had a sore throught, I'd probably let it steep a bit longer and then add a bit of honey. Definitely a good tea for days when one is feeling under the weather.

At first I didn’t love it, but the more I drank, the more I appreciated it! The ginger definitely heats up as time goes on, and adds a tasty layer to this tea. It was delicious with honey. Definitely a great tea to drink when you aren’t feeling well or just need warmed up!

Not a fan of licorice, and even though it's not high up in the list of ingredients, I could still taste the distinctive flavor.

★★★☆☆

I don't hate it but I don't love it. It's just ok for me. Kind of medicinal to me. I added honey but don't know if it really helped make it better. Sorry, not my cup of tea. LOL

Reviewed as part of the communiTEA. Such a strong lemongrass flavor. Great for when you’re not feeling well.

★★★★☆

Very soothing tea that is enhanced by the addition of a spoon of honey. Lemon and mild ginger flavor that is delicious hot or cold.

I like this one. The lemongrass and ginger flavors are dominant for me, with a little hint of licorice in the finish. The ginger is strong in taste but there isn't much ginger burn. This tea calls out for honey and would be very soothing for a sore throat.

Very lemony flavored, initial smell was like I was standing in a hay barn.
Strong lemon flavor,
Steeped @200 for 7 min.

It's no surprise that this is a clear hit for me. According to my taste buds, plain lemongrass is one of the best tasting herbal tisanes that there is. Blended with soothing ginger and a hint of peppermint and licorice, this lemongrass tea was a delight to consume. I'll be purchasing more of this one. (8 min @ 212°F)

When steeped, very strong on the lemongrass and ginger flavour. It overpowers the other flavours. I love lemongrass though and was not disappointed with the strong taste

This is a positively wonderful ginger tea! The lemongrass pairs well to make it a little less spicy while still having a solid kick. I was wary of the licorice root, but paired with the peppermint and ginger, it’s a fine zing! It’s quite soothing plain, but adding a bit of honey brings a sweet, earthy note into it.

Perfect blend ratio of flavors resulting in a very good cup of tea. I prefer the cooled down version which tends to bring out some of the peppermint flavor. I bet this would be good iced too!

I can really taste the ginger and lemon in this one. Reminds me of a similar flavor different brand of tea (Yogi?) that I used to drink a bunch of.

I think I prefer just normal lemongrass, but this is nice too. More subtle citrus flavor, and a nice little spicy zip from the ginger.

All players were present in my CommuniTEA packet this morning ... yay! Lemongrass and licorice aromas were strong ... they were ready to empart their flavors! Pretty red safflower and blue cornflower threads were dancing around and getting ready to give up their colors. When hot, I was greeted with a strange cloudy light-green/yellow colored liquid. Strong lemongrass, licorice, and ginger tastes were noted. These strong flavors continued all the way to finish. Mild peppermint flavors provided a pleasant cooling aftertaste. This was adventure for my taste buds this morning! The honey I added melded all these flavors together and helped to tone things down, making this a very captivating morning sip. The taste was lighter than I thought. I steeped it for a longer period of time to increase the ginger taste. I added honey and it was great. It reminded me of a light candied ginger.

I wasn’t going to have this tea until later in the afternoon but my stomach was a little off this morning so decided to start with it. What a nice refreshing tea. It’s quite soothing. This is going on my wish list for those nights when I’m not feeling 100%. The flavours blend quite nicely.

This smells like Trix and I was really excited to try it. It's a little bland for my taste, so I was mildly disappointed. It's not bad, it's just also not great, either.

Perfect for cold season and exactly the type of thing I want when my head is stuffy. The ginger is the main flavor I get, but the aroma is strong on the lemongrass.

Lovely soothing tea. The ginger is the main flavor that comes through for me with the licorice root and lemongrass as background notes. I added some fresh lemon slices and just enjoyed the warm, spicy goodness! mmmmm

Fantastic light and calming tea for drinking at night. The minty flavors blend well with the lemongrass, though I don't feel I got a strong ginger taste. This will be great also with honey for scratchy throats during cold season.

I got this for respiratory support and tummy love. It's a really nice blend and the lemongrass.

★★★★☆

Pleasant and warming. I enjoyed this tea, but think it makes a better addition to green, or black teas

★★★★★

Not the best dried smell but very delightful and smooth. Has a quick finish so may be even better with lemon and honey.

I'm usually a black tea drinker. Sometimes I want something without caffeine and I've really enjoyed this blend for evenings or when I need a little digestive help. Lemon/ginger teas tend to be too sweet for me, but the lemongrass in this makes it just right.

★★★★★

I really liked this, and the smell is just out of this world

This one will be added to the cold and flu season arsenal. Hot with honey it is very soothing.
