CommuniTEA- my sample today was much better than last time... so, I added a star. The lemon and lavender work well together and I could taste both nicely in my cup. It's a relaxing tea. Sometimes it's good to give teas another chance.

The flavor of this tea blows me away! I have had other lemon lavender combinations that were very weak, but this one is extremely flavorful! I will have to order some for those nights that you just can't wind down.

When the day is rough
You whisper it’s name, softly
And it gets you through

When you forgot lunch
and forgot your wallet, too
And work just won’t end

When you stay late
And when you’re stuck in traffic
You whisper it’s name, softly

“Lavender Lemon”
Lavender Lemon will help
It will set you right

29 Aug 2020 review: Caveat: I’ve have never cared for the lavender aroma. This one was floral in the bag, floral in the cup, and floral on my palate! Very unpleasant floral soapy aftertastes were noted from start to finish. However, lemongrass flavors were strong and pleasing throughout. The rose hip and lemon flavoring added a nice tartness to the drink when warm. I noted a mild clove-like taste from the blue cornflower (I think) at the end. I feel this tea was “as advertised” and lived up to its name. All players did their part. Your mileage may vary depending on if you like lavender. However, it’s going to take a strong Pu-erh Pearl tea to cleanse my mouth out after drinking this one! (7 mins @ 212°F, 1/4 tsp sugar)

8/30/21 Update:
This tea is wonderful for headaches and tastes great, not overly floral despite the lavender. I’ve now upgraded to a 3 oz bag.

3/6/21:
I bought this sample because 1) it was 50% off and 2) it was in a blend that I liked. But when I opened the bag I was like... holy lavender! Very aromatic. I like the smell but not the taste of lavender. So I was expecting not to like it. I preemptively added some extra lemongrass (about 50/50) to cut back on the lavender. At least at that ratio I can say it was good! I’ll try it alone one of these days. Good in blends. And I know many of my guests will like it so good to have around.

EDIT: I had a headache for over a day before I drank this tea, and about an hour after drinking it, it was gone! That wasn’t the purpose of drinking it, but it sure will be in the future!

Really enjoyed this one - very cozy and relaxing. All of the flavors flow together very well and the general effect is very pleasant.

The combination of lavender versus lemon seemed to be at war within my mouth and I’m not sure if perhaps I had an uneven ratio or if that’s how the tea was meant to be. I very much enjoy herbal teas, but this one was not quite to my liking. If it would have been more floral or more lemon then I would have probably enjoyed it more. I steeped this tea for ten minutes then let it cool down.

The lavender and the lemon balance each other out perfectly, and it doesn't taste like soap, which sometimes floral teas can

Uhhhhhh soooooo I was NOT expecting something this simple to be this extraordinary. There is something about this tea that gave me a crazy endorphin rush. I drank it iced and literally shouted 'oh my god!' after the first sip. Why is it this good? It's basically just lemongrass and lavender, with a few other ingredients that I didn't expect to make a significant difference. But maybe this tea is just a really good example of how sometimes, it's the simple things in life.

This tea is light and refreshing. While I found it comforting hot, I’ve used almost all my first order cold steeped. The combination of flavors is especially refreshing to have on hand after mowing the lawn on a hot summer morning! I’ve just ordered my second sample pouch. This time around, I want to try blending it with peppermint as well!

I did not like this... at all. Lavender and lemon seemed like a good idea in theory, but in practice this tasted like soap. Was slightly better hot but still not great. Just not my thing.

This is one of the most universal tea blends I've found. It can be enjoyed 365 days a year and still feel appropriate, no matter the weather! I've had this warm (with honey), iced, and even as a sun tea. Light mouthfeel, yet so flavorful. I was not disappointed!

A good balance of lemon and floral flavors. The lavender makes this a good relaxing tea for the evening. I find I need to add more tea than usual to get a good flavor (otherwise the flavor can be a bit light).

What's not to love? I find lavender extremely calming and adore the smell, which wafts out of the package. I love the tartness of lemon, but here it's tamped down and is a more mellow citrus flavor. These two definitely play well together to create a soothing sip. This is a very mild cup in flavor, but I don't find that muted quality offputting here. I'm usually big on ramping up flavors, but here I think the whisper of the two Ls works just right. This would be a great after work wind down tea or before slumber sip. Happy Sipping!

This was a very refreshing tea that I normally take at night. It's very soothing, but the apple bits tend to overpower the rest of the titular ingredients of lavender and lemon.
