Updated review. I would say that this is one of my standard go to teas. It is great to add to other teas to create new flavors. Favorite mixes are pineapple and tumeric and pineapple and orange. Will add 1 sweetner and generally double the recommended portion in order to have a strong flavor.

Super lovely!! The pineapple is definitely the star of the show, but the notes of rose hip and lemongrass really give it a floral but balanced taste. I cold brewed this overnight and was pleasantly surprised with the strength of taste. It is delicious iced!

Kona Pineapple has a wonderful smell and flavor. I mix it with the Golden Monkey and Raspberry Lemon in my morning tea. It brightens up the tea.
Although the aroma on opening the CommuniTEA packet was of pineapple, the taste, when poured over ice, was that of banana flavored gum. Neither is particularly fantastic nor offensive, just unexpected. I steeped using 212 F water x 10 min then chilled in the fridge, added 1/4 tsp monk fruit and then poured over ice.
I usually avoid really fruity teas but I'm glad I got to try this. Pineapple isn't a tea I'd pick up so it was nice to have a single cup to give it a shot.
This herbal tea is light and sweet, with a really nice tropical flavor. A little sugar brought out the pineapple, making it taste as good as it smells. (And it smells REALLY good.) It's one of my new favorites. I steeped it at 190 degrees for ten minutes.

Opening my communiTEA packet I was hit with the smell of juicy ripe pineapple. It brewed to a light golden yellow. It tasted wonderful and I can understand why it would be popular in blends.
Wow, the scent of this scent of this tea reminds me of a Pina colada! The taste is light but with a little bit of sugar it brings out the flavors more. This would be delicious iced.
I don't usually try herbal teas outside of rooibos blends, but this tea is a surprisingly delightful tropical paradise. Smooth and summery.
This tastes like another old Teavana dupe, but I wasn't crazy about it there either. Yep, the pineapple flavor is big, but so is the tartness. I didn't care for it hot, so I turned it into an iced brew and found it to be far tastier.
Holy dole whip in a cup, batman. This was a lovely nostalgic stroll through Adventureland. From opening the packet and being hit by the bright scent of pineapple and citrus, to the lingering taste after each sip, this tea is full of the spirit of aloha and adventure.

On the nose (pre-steep): Tropical punch is an apt summary. Heavy pineapple, but other flavors join it. Sweet.
On the nose (post-steep): Very little scent due to weak intensity. Faint pineapple.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Still very weak. Faint pineapple.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener has brought back the barest discernable hint of that tropical punch flavor from pre-steep. Still very weak.
Opinion: Not my (pineapple) jam. Too weak to enjoy. It's a missed opportunity, since the tropical notes from the scent were so appealing.
Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. Only ¼ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener to avoid overwhelming the delicate flavors.
I got this as a sample and wasn't happy with the after-taste it left in my mouth. Wouldn't get this again. I tried this for a second time since I received a sample but I made it as an iced tea drink. Much better tasting. Used lots of ice. I might also try it with another tea later in the summer.
I didn’t get as much pineapple flavor as I wanted. I tasted more lemongrass than pineapple. Good tea but not quite what I wanted.
I have to say the smell that hit me the first time I opened this tea's pouch was intense! An amazing sweet, citrusy pineapple scent. However, the brewed tea was not as intense in smell, which is alright because it was still strong, just not as strong. That said, the taste was wonderful. The first time I had it hot, which was odd, but good. The second time I brewed this I put ice in it, which I think I preferred. What I really like about this tea blend though, is adding it to other tea blends for an extra kick, especially fruity blends. Keeps things interesting! I'll be coming back to this blend when I need a good pineapple fix with my tea!

This was the best tea by far. A perfect tea for afternoon. A very mild tea. Steep for at least 5 minutes for full flavor.

So light and refreshing. No fake pineapple flavoring in this tea! This is now in my top 5 iced tea choices
Herbal teas aren't really my jam, but this one is pretty alright. The pineapple really comes through but there isn't much body to it.
This tropical tisane is a legitimate replacement for Teavana's popular Pineapple Kona Pop. Brew it, chill it, then freeze it into ice cube-shaped popsicles (using toothpicks as popsicle sticks) for a twist on Hawaiian shave ice. The flavor combination of orange and pineapple provides a refreshing way to cool off.
I love this herbal tea by itself. For a little more zip, I’ll add Kona Pineapple to some Mango Green for the perfect tropical vacation in my teacup!
Pineapple is my favorite fruit so the main flavor profile was lacking. It made for an underwhelming brew but still very tasty

This Kona tea is wonderful in the morning when I'm not ready for a full bodied caffein tea. Sometimes it tastes sweet to me too.
This one is so good, I couldn't believe how much the pineapple comes through. Perfect for summer time.
We use this one the most with equal parts Kona and the green rooibos blueberry. I have also used it with the cupids cup as well.

This is my go-to for caffeine free, fruity iced tea. It is AWESOME!! Add some lemon and a little sweetener (I usually use honey or stevia) and it tastes great!!

Another new favorite!! I am loving the Adagio fruit teas/infusions: this one is so nicely balanced, it tastes like real fruit rather than tons of artificial flavours. Note: most of the fruit infusions need almost double the recommended amount of 'tea' per cup to get a true flavour:)
A little disappointing. The pineapple flavor is quite subdued and even overpowered a bit by the lemongrass. I think it could be good blended with something else, but on its own, it's a little underwhelming.
So disappointed! Nothing like the Pineapple Kona tea Teavana had! I have to put so much of it to have any pineapple flavor, it’s a waste!

Piece of Caribbean vacation in a cup. Love it every season. I can drink it without sugar or honey as the sweetness comes from the fruit.
I was hoping this would remind me of the pineapple kona pop tea from Teavana, but it's not close really. It doesn't have enough pineapple flavor, although it does have a decent taste when added to other things, just not good enough on it's own. I'd say the freeze dried pineapple is better.

I have rebought this since my last review and it definitely has more pineapple flavor to it now with more pineapple pieces than it had before. It makes a great addition to any tea, especially pairing it with the Butterscotch.
Update: It seems they have added more pineapple to this, go figure! I tried ordering it again to find out if the rumors were true, and I was pleasantly surprised to find this is so much more like the Teavana version I loved so much. I can't wait to mix it with strawberry or blueberry to make a good summer iced tea.
AMAZING! I have been trying to find a replica of the pineapple kona pop from teaopia, and now I found it! Such a good drink, especially iced with some honey!
