Juicy pineapple followed by a light citrusy finish. This is tea is great when cold brewed
just like the teavana version! really great iced or hot
The taste is maybe a little light, but that's not a bad thing in itself. It goes really well with just a bit of sugar added, it really brings out of sweetness of the pineapple. I often pair it with Blood Orange (1/2 serving of blood orange, 1 full serving of Kona Pineapple, per cup) and a little bit of sugar, and oooooh man, is it good! Works well both hot and cold.
OH MY GOSH!!! When I opened up the package the smell totally captivated me and made me feel like I was on a tropical island somewhere. The taste is great too. It tastes like a 'pineapple-ade'. I think I will brew it stronger in the future though.
For some reason it smelled strongly of pineapple, but had a pretty mild taste hot...as with all tisanes, I very much preferred it cold. While it was still mind, it gave my water a great refreshing taste that had me drinking more water than usual. YUM!
I bought this b/c it was supposed to be like Teavana's Kona Pineapple Pop. What a joke. It's not even close. It lacks flavor - even with using 3 TABLEspoons for 2 cups it's still weak and there is no pineapple taste to it. Some apple and some orange flavor, but that's it.
This is a very lightly flavored tea- I was hoping for a bigger fruit flavor
Great iced tea. Even without any sugar or sweetener it's still pretty sweet, but still refreshing.
This is a nice tea and I can taste a hint of the pineapple not to over powering.
I was pretty disappointed in this tea. Was hoping that it would be a good replacement for Teavana pineapple jobs pop. Sadly it wasn’t. It had a weird flavor to it that I just didn’t like.
Another great tea served iced on a hot day. Loved all the flavors!
This one was good, but I love the Pina Colada blend so much that this one pales in comparison. Maybe try it if you like pineapple but not coconut.
This makes a super fun iced tea! It does take a while to brew to get it to a strength I like, but once it's there it's delicious!
I gave this to a friend who loved teavana s kona pop and she said that while this wasn t an exact dupe, it was still really good in its own right.
UPDATE: I've since ordered a sample myself and this tea definitely does remind me of teavana kona pop, which I used to drink iced on its own or mixed with blueberry. It's juicy and yummy and brings back fond memories.
UPDATE: I ordered another sample to give to a friend and when she and I shared a cup I noticed a distinct difference between this batch and the first batch I got. This one has a funny aftertaste that was definitely not in the first one. I guess variances are to be expected when things are made in higher quality small batches as opposed to mass-produced like some commercial tea makers, but it caught me off guard and made me a little sad that this sample gift wasn't as outstandingly fantastic as my first go-round. Unfortunately my friend opened it after the return window had closed so we'll have to keep it. I've been trying to mix it with other teas to see if we can mask the off-putting taste, but it stubbornly finds its way through. Fortunately it's almost gone. Hey, it happens. Maybe this one had an unhappy pineapple in it. I still love love love everything I get from Adagio and that's not going to change!!
The tea is fine, but very light and sweet. I was hoping for more flavor, it is quite mild.
You ever leave a tropical fruit salad in your fridge so long that its flavor kind of permeates everything in the fridge? Well this tastes like you left a glass of water next to the fruit salad. This might be the mildest fruit tisane yet. I left it steeping overnight to try to get as much flavor out, but all I got out of this tea was some pineapple flavored burps.
I have only tried this hot and loved it, and I think it will be amazing cold!
Mixed this with green rooibos blueberry to recreate teavana s blueberry kona pop blend. Delicious!
I like it not very strong but a good flavor. Also thankfully not to pineapplely.
The smell of this tea screams Summer but the taste was quite light. I enjoyed it iced a bit better than hot. I would buy this again... it's a good summer tea.
Really great! The smell is super strong in the bag, but once it’s brewed it has a much softer flavor. It definitely tastes like pineapple, which I love. I bet it would be great iced.
I definitely taste the pineapple in this one! Great tea on it's own or to add to a traditional(non-flavored) tea.
This is such a light lovely tropical flavor! It is absolutely delicious and perfect for those chillier summer mornings!
I’ve only had this cold brewed so far, and it was awesome! I also made a cold brew blend with this and some honeybush vanilla that was incredible. I haven’t tried it hot yet, but this tea is made to cold brew for the summer, in my opinion.
Herbal and tropical. It's lovely but not too strong for my taste. I mix it with black tea to make the best favor of both
This sweet, tangy blend is the perfect iced tea for a hot summer day! I would make these in gallons if I could! It s the full tropical experience.
Needs sugar to reach its full potential, but it s pretty tasty and has distinct pineapple flavor.
I love adagio teas! The aroma was amazing, however I was very disappointed when the tea had no flavor at all. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but it was unlike any other tea experience I've had with adagio.
This tea fell a little short of what I had hoped for. The flavors you’d expect are there, but not very intensely. Without adding sugar there’s a bit of a sour aftertaste I’m not fond of.
Needs more pineapple flavor! For something called Kona Pineapple I expected a lot more pineapple flavor to come through.
It is ok; I do like that the flavor is really strong!
I had a free sample of it and I needed to use the whole sample just to brew one cup - creates a very weak tea. Almost as if there's too much fruit.
This one just isn t for me. Very weak and kind of weird smelling.
Very good iced with a touch of honey and pineapple mint
As a hot tea, this is delicious. As an iced tea, I found it...weird. I think it might have been the lemongrass. I ended up reheating it in the microwave to make it delicious again.
This is so delicious. My son drinks this at night when he is craving something sweet.
Mixed this with strawberry. Wife loves it in the afternoon on ice.
Cold brewed this overnight and it s very light in color but tasty! I ll try brewing it the normal way too then chilling it down.
I love the way this smells when you first open the bag!!! I use double the amount, and even chew the fruit pieces! Yumm
If you like pineapple you are most likely going to like this tea
I echo what others have said: the pineapple taste is mild sweeter/more floral there's not much of a tropical zing in this tea opposed to t opposed to the tropical zing (like with a real pineapple) in this tea. Still, it is well-balanced in all its flavors. This tea is even better with some sweetener and some ice!
This is sooooo delicious! Hands down one of my favorites!
Got this as a sample and was on the fence about trying it. Brewed it today and the smell was amazing! My house smelled like a tropical paradise! Luckily, the flavor was also on point. Not as strong as the smell would indicate, but a refreshing, lighter tropical flavor. I tried the tea hot with a touch of sweetener and it was pretty good. I chilled and iced the rest and that's where this tea shines! Chilled, this tea needs no sweetener to be light and refreshing. This will be my go to summer drink for those sultry days!
Nice fruity flavor. Will be good for iced tea and summer cocktails.
a nice tea with a milder flavor than the scent from the bag may lead you to believe it has. i got an initial pineapple flavor then it turns to an apple/lemongrass flavor and finishes off with a light pineapple aftertaste. i could see mixing this with another stronger and complimentary tea.
I Love pineapple flavored teas but this one fails to produce much of that flavor...it's not a bad tea but not enough of the flavor of pineapple
Subtle taste of pineapple and a perfect mix with the lemongrass. It's a tropical get-a-way in a mug!
Was expecting a bit more of a pineapple taste. It's pretty good but I recommend with some honey.
This one is fantastic gonna try it as an iced tea next
Wonderful tea! It s hard to find a true pineapple tea, and this one really hits the mark.
