Very summery. I find that adding a little sugar really brings out the lime flavor.

Delicious! What a great summer tea. The key lime flavor is distinct without being overpowering. Tastes great hot or iced--citrusy and refreshing!

On my first brewing of this tea, the tea had a slight soapy aftertaste. So, on subsequent brewings, I added a half-scoop of additional hibiscus leaves, which seems to remove the aftertaste. I will note that my sister never tastes the soap, no matter how I brew it.

Tastes just like a key lime pie! I will definitely be adding this to my regular horde of tea

Refreshing blend to meet all your iced tea needs for summer! Bet it would be good hot too!

Wasn't sure what to expect. I think I ordered it by a mistake, but I'm glad I did. Love the flavor.

its…. good? its really interesting. kinda strange? idk if i would have it again but its definitely worth a try

Not sure if I'd purchase this again, but as a citrus lover, especially lime, I was happy with the flavor of this tea. It didn't come across as artificial. I drank this iced, so can't comment on how it would be hot.

I was waiting to try this out. It is so good. I love key lime pie and this tea was NO disappointment. This will be joining more frequently sipped teas.

I found this very refreshing as an iced tea. The lime kick is awesome.

The lime flavor is artificial and that really shows but otherwise it s a pleasant tea.

This is the most interesting tea I have tasted. I made it coldbrew style and it tastes just like a key lime pie. I wouldn’t drink it on the regular but it’s a nice treat for sure. 8.5/10 is what I would rate this one.

Tried this tea as a CommuniTEA sample. It smells delicious. But the hibiscus makes the tea red--which was not what I was expecting for a key lime flavor. It also needs sweetener to tone down the tartness of the hibiscus.

I like teas that try to be different and give this one credit for its originality. Unfortunately, I think it's appeal will be limited to those who like lime and/or tartness. I do love a good Earl Grey, but here the citrus was just a bit to overwhelming for me to enjoy it.

Has too much of an artificial lime taste for me. Like drinking green skittles. Slightly tart, yet sweet taste of lime. Hibiscus is abundant, but controlled by the other flavors. Full of flavor. Steeped 212° For 5 mins.

I was really excited to try this tea but theres something funky about the flavor it maybe the essence of skittles, I tried it hot then let it cool and I think it got weirder. Not my cup today.

Update: 2021: It seems like I must have preferred it hot after all. The hibiscus is overpowering when cold steeped. The key lime flavoring seems not as strong in my CommuniTEA packet. I decided to take away 1 star.

This smells and tastes exactly like Key Lime pie. It held up to multiple steeps too. I am going to try it iced next...

This is my first taste of Key Lime tea and it was surprisingly good when sweetened. I enjoyed it hot with honey and cold with lots of ice. When sipped hot, the flavor of this tea was initially very tart. I could detect a lime flavor hovering in the background but it had to be teased out with some sweetening to fully blossom. I found a honey add nicely mellowed the sharper taste of the hibiscus and rose hips while boosting the lime flavor.

My CT packet had 4 grams of all ingredients which included a tiny piece of orange. I followed Val F.’s recommendation to use 5 minutes at 212*F for the first steep and at least 20 minutes for the resteep. This worked well and I was glad to know about the color difference in advance. The red color of the liquor in the first 12 oz. steep became a very pale pink in the 8 oz. resteeep. This lighter tea, however, was still tasty. I enjoyed this lime flavored tea very much as long as it was sweetened with a spoonful of sugar much like a piece of sweet and tart Key Lime pie.

It smells bright and tart, but tastes almost deceptively savory along with that sour flavor you expect. It'd be very great chilled, or as part of a mixed drink.

Was excited to try this one as part of CommuniTea. The smell upon opening the packet was lime and fabulous. Unfortunately, I did not find the flavor to be as good. Hot, it tasted oddly salty to me. Chilled, the lime flavor peaked through but didn't mix well with the hibiscus on my tastebuds. Ah well, can't like them all.

I really don’t like hibiscus. And they add it to so many of the herbal teas. It works out in some that have enough flavor to balance it, but the lime in this one plays into the sourness of the hibiscus instead. I’m sure someone would love it, but it’s definitely not for me

I love lemon merangie pie, and eat key lime yogurt, pudding/jello, and enjoy granny smith apples. I like sour things so this was pleasant when cold. It was almost too sweet-tart like sour patch kids but without the sour crystals. When it was hot, the vanilla sweetness was there. Cold, the sweetness was actually calmed down by the tart. I recommend not putting sugar in here unless it's maybe less than half a teaspoon/a pinch of rock sugar.

I love key lime pie and tart fruit but this came across as really fake lime taste. I love hibiscus and rose hips so their tartness was fine but the lime part just didn’t do it for me. 200° for 10 minutes.

CommuniTEA review: I have had this before and not liked it... But, this time I am really enjoying it iced. I did a cold brew and I think it tamed the hibiscus a little. I found it to be refreshing and I enjoyed the lime flavor!

I’m not a big fan of key lime pie, and unfortunately I’m not a fan of this tea either

The beautiful marriage between the tart apple and soft rosehips is so aromatic and delicious!! I can’t stop it without smiling❤️

Tart, sweet, and a beautiful color. I didn’t get much of a key lime feel, but a good cup.

I tasted this blend through CommuniTEA. It gets an ok rating from me. I drank it chilled, it’s refreshing, but my taste buds didn’t get much lime flavor. It reminds me of Kool Aid with no sugar added. Happy sipping!

I don’t know what I think about this tea, taste like Kool-Aid or something I don’t know, and I like Keylime but I did not like this.😢

At first, when I opened the pouch, I thought I caught a whiff of a buttery graham cracker crust, but I must have been delusional because that quickly gave way to a limey aroma that reminded me of old-school green Skittles (the lime ones, obviously, not those cheeky new green apple ones) and medicine simultaneously. After a cold-steep in the fridge overnight to keep the tartness from the hibiscus at bay, the iced tea had a taste much like that of it’s aroma - unsweetened lime Skittles. The brew was not so tart, though, that I couldn’t drink it without sweetening, and interestingly, I did have moments where I detected an almost creamy texture or taste to the tea, but I’m not sure where that came from. That said, the next time I’m feeling nostalgic for the old green Skittles, I’ll drink this tea.

This is a very tart and sour tea that I didn't enjoy much. I did taste some lime, but mostly hibiscus. I had to add sugar so that it was drinkable and it ended up tasting like Kool-Aid.

I liked this. It has strong, lime flavor and smells like lime candy. Even though it has rose hips and hibiscus, it surprisingly doesn't get dominated by either. It tastes like a slightly tart lime throughout.

CommuniTEA Sample: A very nice herbal tea that is good hot, but much better iced. It's great for enjoying in the summer evening. Just the right amount of lime for me and didn't taste too artificial.

I cold brewed this and I'm not sure if thats what did it, but the taste is sour and artificial. I think I can get hints of the key lime, but its overwhelmed by a general non specific bitter/sour taste. Oh well, it might have been better steeped at boiling, but I only had one sample. I still love wild strawberry the best out of the fruity herbals.

I'm not a fan of hibiscus. Was a bit overpowering here. I should have cold brewed, might have toned it down. Added sweetener which helped.

Really too tart and almost like citric acid was included in the communitea packet.

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Subtle powdered lime scents wafting from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 5 mins at 212°F, I notice the deep ruby burgundy color of the hibiscus in my cup as well as the lime scents. When I take a sip, I get a pretty strong lime essence with lots of tart from the hibiscus. For me the lime flavor is not as natural tasting as I would like it.

Beautiful ruby red color and a pleasing aroma, but the taste was off for me. The lime flavor in this sort of reminded me of unsweetened lime Kool-Aid, not great.

This tastes like lime freezer push up pops I used to have when I was a kid. It's good but bit too artificial for me and not something I would try again.

This went past tart and solidly into sour for me. Just too sour. Perhaps with some sugar or honey it would shine but I prefer teas that don't need it. The lime flavor tasted a bit off too. I do love limes so was really hoping to enjoy this one.

I cold-brewed this and hoo boy. The key lime tasted like disinfectant powder. The flavor was quite strong and quite unpleasant. Better as a hot tea, I'm hoping? Or my packet had too much key lime and not enough everything else?

I liked the lime flavor at first, but then there’s a weird sweet aftertaste that I don’t like… I think it be alright with some added Creme flavoring.
