Unique, vibrant dragonfruit flavors are mellow throughout with a gentle pop of hibiscus. On the aftertaste, sweet pineapple and orange appear. This tea is subtle but very well blended.

I have never had dragon fruit, or at least, not that I recall, so I can't speak to whether this blend truly represents it's namesake. What I can say is that this blend - cold-steeped, at least - is naturally sweet and has a miscellaneous fruity, slightly chalky flavor that reminds me of children's Tylenol. I can't say whether it's good or bad since I'm unfamiliar with dragon fruit; I can say this tea (I know, tisane) is not for me.

I find this tea to be refreshing, sweet, and fruity; which is sometimes just the combination that I want. I can't remember what dragon fruit tastes like though so I can't really comment on that, but I find this a pleasant cup of tea. (212F for 5min)

Apple and Pineapple took center stage in this blend, and gave a wonderful fruity tartness to the cup. Very crisp and refreshing, hot or cold.

I have had this tea hot as part of the Fruit Bomb sampler and enjoyed it with some sweetener added. Today I wanted iced tea but didn’t plan ahead for a cold brew. I brewed my packet hot (212 degrees for 10 minutes) then put it in the refrigerator and poured it over ice with my lunch. It was naturally sweet and delicious.

I’m sorry to say that this tea is not for me. I do t think I’ve ever had dragonfruit by itself before so maybe that’s what I’m tasting. I cold-brewed it. I don’t know if it would have been a different experience if it had been hot. If you like dragonfruit, you will no doubt enjoy it. I think it’s just me rather than the tea.

The smell upon opening the packet was lovely - sweet, yet pleasantly potent. After brewing, the colour was equally as catching with a deep pinkish near the top and lighter purple in the bottom of the cup. Without anything added, the dragon fruit and pineapple were the immediate notes, followed by a light layer of tart [hits right on the back of the tongue and into the throat] and easy to slip by sweetness. Adding a little blue agave helped to bring up the sweetness and bring out that slight, sideline sourness of dragon fruit. For those who like it iced, i think this would be perfect!

Love the light pink color that it turns into! Fruity, mostly getting Apple, hibiscus and pineapple. But the dragonfruit makes this stand out. It's bright and creamy aftertaste.

I cold brewed this. It turned out to be a beautiful, pale pink color. The flavor of the dragonfruit is mild, but definitely present. This tea was perfect for this hot, summer day!

Cold brew is a must on this one. It has that tang like dragon fruit without the seeds. I would recommend trying esp since dragon fruit is usually at least 6 bucks a fruit.

CommuniTEA portion: Cold Brewed for 10+ hours. Beautiful color! The notes of dragonfruit and pineapple are so great together. A little sweetness but not too sweet. I think the hibiscus worked in my favor for once! Nice refreshing summer tea.

Update 6/25/22 This was so good on this hot summer day, I raised it up to 5 stars. Cold brewed over night and served over ice.

This was very flavorful cold brewed. I have never tasted a dragon fruit, so not sure it that flavor was present or not. I did taste pineapple and lemon verbena. The color was a beautiful pale pink. Very enjoyable blend !

Smelled like fruit punch out of the bag and was nice to have iced, but there are other herbals (without the rose hips) that I prefer.

Pleasantly sweet and fruity. While I can't quite place the dragon fruit, I do taste peach, pineapple, and other goodness

Today’s Herbal Tisane is a fruity delight with lots of summertime goodness. I have never had Dragon Fruit so I.wasn’t sure what to expect and what I got was lots and lots of peach flavoring — a definite plus for me.

Steeping Notes — 195 degrees 3-5 minutes in the Adagio steeping mug.

A great fruity iced tea that's refreshing and fun. Very pineapple forward at first with dragonfruit hints sprinkled in. Tasty! I had mine sweetened a bit but it probably didn't need it.

I'm super grateful that I read the reviews to watch the proportions of water to tea. If this tea isn't watered down-- its Delicious and also makes a wondrous Iced Tea. Its Fruity, Floral & Refreshing. I love how the Dragonfruit, Pineapple and other fruit notes come forward...while the florals are imbuing the background with their magic. This cup brings a childhood memory of some kind of sweet treat, enjoyed in the Summer. ((Brewed 212° at 5 Mins, enjoyed a few sips hot--then Iced.))

**update** It is amazing iced or cold brewed overnight!!
This blend is great! It is a very mellow fruity mix without the tartness of the hibiscus that is often found in blends like these. I had it hot, but I believe it would be great iced too!

Dragon Fruit Dream

Recommended Steep: 5-10 minutes @ 212°F
I steeped it for 9 minutes @ 212°F, in approximately 11 oz of water with 1.5 tsp of rock/tea sugar .

There was a very sweet and very strong pineapple upon opening the packet, with other fruits I could not quite identify in the background. Generally, it seems I tend to like blends with hibiscus, so I’m looking forward to trying it.

All the ingredients I could identify appeared to be present. It is a pretty tea. I had what looked like a ton of apple pieces. I was a little concerned about that at first, since I’m not the biggest fan of apple teas. However my concerns proved to be unfounded.

There is a very sweet, strong aroma present while steeping that almost smells like candy. It continues to give off a strong aroma when the steep is finished and it is hot. The tea itself is a lovely reddish- purple,/purplish-red and it tastes much as it smells, very sweet. As it cools both flavor and aroma fade, but are still quite noticeable. I truly enjoyed this tea. Despite it’s sweetness it does have a bit of a tart aftertaste that is not at all unpleasant. I need to put this one on my wish list. 5 stars.

UPDATED from 6/17/21: Love this - delicious and sweet! There are many pretty and delightful ingredients as the CommuniTEA packet opens, rose petals, marigolds, small pineapple and other cute pieces tumble into the infuser. It steeps into a pale, peachy pink color. So tasty, and sweet. Yet, adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) really allows the fruit flavors to come forward more. The rose fills my nose as the rest tickle my tongue. Delightful - especially when cold. (10 mins @ 212F + sweetener).

A delicious tropical flavor blend, refreshing on a summer day. Pear & Pineapple forward with kiwi, lemon verbena undertones and an aftertaste I can’t put my finger on. I brewed it hot as directed on the pkg and added Splenda.

This is a wonderful fruity tea that is excellent iced. The second time I brewed it, I added a little rooibos in a 1:3 ratio to give it a little more body. YUM!

Update: I am now cold brewing (still with the rooibos) overnight. Even more delicious!

I like this tea because it's tart and smooth. I can see it being potentially very useful in blends, assuming the flavor can stand up to others.

Pleasant enough, nice tropical flavors, not too sour like many fruit tisanes, but it just didn't wow me. I suspect this would go over better with people who prefer their tea iced.
