I finally had a chance to try my sample of dewy cherry. I was really hoping that most of the reviews about this one was wrong, but they all are right! Just something about this tea makes it smell and taste exactly like medicine. I don't even think I could finish this cup that I made that its that bad. I was really hoping that this would be a good cherry flavored tea, but stay far away!~

★★★☆☆

Better than the cherry almond fandom blend I tried, but still a strong medicinal/theraflu element to it. Warmed up fake cherry taste--I'll pass.

★★★★★

Very pleased with this tea. It did have the smell of cough syrup, but didn't taste like it to me. I would buy it again.

★★★★★

Works great when using The Ginger People's ginger spread instead of honey when hot, works just as great when mixing it with green tea when making iced tea.

★★★★★

The flavor of this tea is incredible if you like cherrys!

★★★★★

The initial smell of the brewed tea almost put me off this, it smelled exactly like foul cherry cough medicine. The taste, however, is nothing like it -- very sweet, tart and tangy. Not artificial tasting at all.

★★★★★

Really awesome flavor! I loved this herbal tea. Very uplifting and flavorful!

★★★★★

So delicious iced! No sweetener needed. My husband thought it was juice!

★★★★★

A perpetual favorite! Great blended with other teas that might 'lack something'. I have noted that a very brief steeping produces a luscious cup, yet a second brewing still has a satisfying full flavor. This is a tea to impress people with :-)

★★★★☆

Defiantly tastes like cherry. A little sweet for my tastes. Great mixed with chamomile and mint.

★☆☆☆☆

This tea was not all I had hoped it would be. I suppose I was expecting a more tart cherry flavor, but this just tasted muddy and dull. It reminded me of cheap potpurri. I wasn't even able to finish my whole cup. Oh well. that's what sample packs are for!

★★☆☆☆

I love cherries. This smelled good but tasted more like dew. would not offer this to guests

★★★★☆

This tea has a beautiful deep pink color, and is very flavorful with smooth cherry as the primary flavor, and a mild tang underneath. Unfortunately, it is reminiscent of cherry flavored cough syrup, and I can't get the association out of my head when I smell it!

This tea is very cherry! I love the sweetness of it!

★★☆☆☆

Tasted like cough syrup. Had so much potential but just too bitter.

★★★★★

At first I was kind of iffy about this tea because I wasn't that fond of the Cherry green tea. But this one is definitely a lot different and really tastes like black cherries to me. This is a nice cherry tea.

★★★★☆

Love it! I am always a little skeptical about cherry things, but this was really good!

★★★☆☆

I don't particularly like the cherry as it reminds me of cough medicine.

The blend itself smells agressively cherry -- almost smells like cherry soda. But my first pot of tea was disappointingly pale and weak. I realized that most of what I got in my scoop were the cubes of dried apple. Subsequent pots have been rosier and cherry-er. I don't think I'll buy it again. Too hit-or-miss.

I enjoy this tea at times, other times I don't care either way. I guess I'd say it's a good tea, but only sometimes for me.

★★★☆☆

This one is semi-good, though nothing really special. I tried it alone and blended with vanilla or the cream tea.

★★★★☆

I was not sure I would like this as I thought it might taste like cough syrup. It was very good and I found it great over ice.

★★★☆☆

This is very, VERY cherry. On its own I find it rather sickly sweet, almost syrupy in the cup. Not at all medicinal, just overpowering sweetness that comes across kind of harsh. It's nice as a mixer (a small dash in plain chamomile, for example) but even at at half a tsp per 10oz water it's too much for me plain.

Great cherry flavor! Sweet enough to drink without sweetener. Served it during Christmas Eve and the entire family loved it.

★★★★☆

This was a little too sweet tasting for me. It was good, I just wouldn't buy it again.

★★★☆☆

This will deliver on the 'cherry' part of its name in droves. It will make a very potent iced tea. When it is hot however, the smell of this tea is overwhelming, and not in a good way. There is something in this that is reminiscent of the artificial cherry flavor from medicines. The underlying blend is actually quite good, but this artificial note just brings the whole thing down.

★★★★☆

The taste is great and is exactly like the description. If you are a fan of cherry, this is the tea for you! Also, it does not taste like medicine at all-so yummy. My only critique is that the smell is a bit pungent.

★★★★★

This is seriously like drinking a dessert. I was expecting it to not taste right sweetened, but you really don't have to put any sugar in it at all. It's better iced than hot, it's very much like a fruit punch.

★★★★★

This tea is a nice alternative to the cherry green tea that I normally drink.

★☆☆☆☆

Smells good in the package, but once brewed it has an overwhelming floral taste. Also, way too bitter/ acidic for my palette, even with sweeteners added.

★★★★★

Tastes very good, would highly recommend this tea.

★★★★☆

Flavor not as strong as I expected, but I probably didn't steep it for long enough -- I'm always a little leery of steeping stuff with hibiscus for too long.

★★★★☆

I liked this a lot when I combined it with jasmine tea, but I haven't tried it on it's own. In comparison to the cherry green tea, this has more of a cherry aftertaste.

★★★★★

I really like this, even with the slightly 'cherry cough drop' flavor. It was bright, smooth and a little tart.

★★★★☆

A great herbal for blending. Smells a little like cough syrup, but doesn't have a chemical taste.

★★★★☆

Very strong cherry aroma that translates to a even flavour.

★★★☆☆

It was a bit too sweet for my taste I mean WHOA. But if it was the sort of thing you'd like than it was good.

★★★★☆

I blended this with my black cream tea and it is just wonderful. Not cough syrupy at all to me...

This is a very strong tea! It's a bit too fruity for me, to the point where my throat burns afterwards. Probably won't buy this in the future, but will try the cherry black tea. It's good and fruity, but very strong!

★★★★★

Nice cherry flavor with a tang underneath. Very pretty to look at, heavenly aroma. It looked so nice I tried chewing on the steeped fruit: sadly, I can't recommend that.

★★★☆☆

Update: Well. . . I am still not a fan, sadly. I love cherries, but this just isn't my thing. Tried without any sugar this time, and while the flavour is a LOT better, I still have the feeling I'll either be making some weird blend of samples I didn't like or trying to give the rest of the sample away. On the plus side, my parrots didn't hate it.

I'm definitely going to have to try this one again. Even though it is mostly hibiscus(I hate tart teas) I decided to try it since a lot of reviews say it is sweet. I added more sugar than I normally would(normally if I have to add anything but water I won't drink it.) anyway, but it has a funny taste to it. Next cup I try is going to have no sugar to see if that makes it better.

Smelling the tea, you can pick out the cherry but then it also smells a bit like medicine underneath it. Thankfully when it's brewed it doesn't have that anymore. It was sweet and warm. Not a bad tea but I think I would rather have it mixed with another blend as an accent rather than on its own.

I really enjoyed this one. I was expect a stronger flavor based on the smell but it was really good. I preferred this one cold. I agree with others that there is a medicinal cherry cough drop smell kinda like the Luden's drops my mom gave us kids but it doesn't turn me off.

★★★★☆

Nice natural cherry flavor. A bit on the tart side, but overall, it's a nice caffeine free cherry tea.

★★★★☆

This tea was sweet and delicious, I loved it a lot.

★★★★☆

This tea has a wonderful scent and a sweet n tart taste. When I'm craving a sweet beverage, this isnoje of my choices.

★★★★★

I knew that this tea was exceptional after the first taste. It tastes sweet without sweetener. It has an immediate taste of cherry. It is fruit forward but clean and light.
It has a mild prolonged after taste. Tastes like a fine wine.

This tea does have a bit of the medicinal/cough syrup smell to it, but the taste it true to cherries. I've found it to be more sweet than tart, so while it smells astringent, it brews smooth.

★★★★★

This tasted like a close cousin to the Wild Strawberry, which I adored. The blend is much the same, only swapping out strawberry for cherry, and it has that same light, floral sweetness. Quite nice!

★★★☆☆

I'm not sure what this tea is like, my mom kept it at home. I'm sure it's great though.
