I just got through eating a bowl of cherries, and I can say with assurance that this tea does NOT taste like cherries. I've noticed a definite trend with Adagio's cherry flavored teas. The cherry flavor tastes...wrong. This one goes on the 'don't buy' list.

I thought the tea was ok hot... but once I added ice, it was nice and refreshing! Almost like a fruit punch I would drink as a kid!

This tea has a very nice mild cherry flavor. The rose flavor rounds out the cherry without being too floral.

Not a favorite - it’s a dry fruity taste that wasn’t that pleasing. (From CommuniTEA box)
★★★★☆
This tea is a bit tart, not too tart though. Solid fruit tea.

Done hot or cold, this tea was pleasant all around to all the participants of my house. It was sweet without much for sweetener. I was scared when I saw artificial cherry in the list because last one tasted like nasty cough syrup. But this was refreshing cold and soothing warm. Only way it would make it as a 5 star was if it was a green for me. Herbal lovers, here's your liquid cherry outside of harvest season

Smells and tastes great! I rarely find a tea that tastes exactly like the flavor suggests, but this tea does have an enjoyable flavor nonetheless.

I recieved a sample packet of this tea that Adagio kindly provided me in a box for a week long 'CommuniTEA' trial. This is the second day. I don't often drink herbal teas, but the aroma upon opening 'Dewy Cherry's' bag definitely made me more excited to try it out - right away you can smell the cherries and other delicious fruit smells. Unfortunately, the cherry seemed to be overshadowed by another flavor(s) (hibiscus? apples? rose hips, perhaps? I can't quite put my finger on it). I added a tablespoon of honey to cut down on the tart/ sour flavors, and I think that ended up giving it an even stronger medicinal taste (kind of tastes a bit like a 'cherry' cough drop/ syrup). Not totally horrible - but not something I would go out of my way to buy. This might taste differently if it's iced, I can imagine this being a decent iced tea. I'm not sure if I just got used to it, or if the flavors were given enough time to settle, but it seemed to be easier to drink after being set aside for a few mins to cool. Overall, this herbal tea isn't the worst I've ever had, but it's also just not for me.

It's ok, I prefer it iced, but I find it to taste more like hibiscus than cherry.

Any cherry I tasted was barely there tbh. Mainly rosehips and hibiscus. Luckily I like those, but might not be for everyone! Dry aroma was like Luden's cherry cough drops, but brewed was better (though not very cherry)-- a bit tangy/tart, very rosy/floral, sort of perfumey, with a beautiful color. I drank it warm, unsweetened, but it might be better iced. Not my fave berry tisane, but I could see how some people would love it.

This is a bit tart and perfume-y hot, but not too bad. I suspect this would be much, much better iced. The dry tea smells incredible, for one thing.

This one is nice but a little too Luden's cough drop to get 5 stars.

Like a bowl full of cherries. Naturally sweet, tart and caffeine-free. Steeped the recommended 10 mins as I do with most really fruity herbals. You really need to LOVE cherry to drink this tea. I didn’t get the hibiscus or rose others have mentioned. A strong Cherry Lollipop flavor if you add some honey, but I didn't care for this Tea, but I personally don't like cherry as I associate it with medicine during childhood.
I only sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTEA (June box).

I don't recommend steeping for the full ten minutes, as the hibiscus was a bit overpowering. If I had this sample to make again, I would only let it steep for eight minutes. Decent hot with honey, would probably also be good over ice.

You really need to love hibiscus to drink this tea. I didn’t get the cherry, but it was a good flavor. I only wish there was caffeine in it

This was okay hot, but the cherry scent disappears and the taste is mostly rose hips and hibiscus. I find I prefer it cold, once again the hibiscus is prominent, but it is enjoyable to sip.

I m a huge fan of fruity herbal teas and the cherry in this is so forward and bright. I absolutely love it.

It smelled promising, but when I sipped this iced, the blend did not deliver on the cherry flavor. It mostly just tasted like tart hibiscus and rosehips— no discernible fruit or cherry flavor.

Tart and tasty. Made the rest of it as a sun tea and got a lot of “Cherry Kool-Aid” vibes. It took me back to my childhood when I’d come into the house on a summer day and my mom would pour me a cup of iced Cherry Kool-Aid. That nice crispy taste that makes one smacks their lips. I might have to get more for cold brewing or sun tea.

This is a very good somewhat tart tea. I think it would be amazing steeped in sprite.

This was pretty awful. It tastes nothing like real cherry. I was disgusted, tasted like children's cherry cough syrup.

I adore this tea. I made it into an ice tea by brewing it strongly then adding ice. It tasted like cherry koolaid. So good!

This tea is scrumptious! I got it as a sample and IMMEDIATELY had to order some. It is fragrant and tastes like you just steeped an entire cherry tree. If you like fruity teas, do not pass this one by.

If you like a little bit of bitterness (but still good), then this tea is the one for you. That cherry flavor pops out with every sip.

I m a big fan of tart cherry but this was a bit of a disappointment for me. It seemed much more medicinal (like a cough drop) than refreshing. Still drinkable but not up to the promising aroma.

While this tea has prominent notes of sweet apple and slightly tart cherry, I was expecting more of a natural cherry flavor.

I really like this one, especially sweet. If you don't like cherry prob not the right tea for you

Reminds me of cherry popsicles or candy. Good balance of sweetness and good iced, just wish it was more of a natural cherry flavor

Love the scent, like a twizzle without the calories or wheat-lol. Flavor is awesome as well

One of the most candy-like herbals on Adagio. The hibiscus can kind of steal the show, but the cherry is still noticeable in the background. Excellent as an iced tea or as part of an iced blend. Worth noting, it's still a tart tea, so if you want something with a more rounded sweetness I'd recommend something like the Kona Pineapple.

If you like cherry, you'll really enjoy this. It has a very strong and full flavor that fills your nose and mouth. I'm going to order a small bag to keep around for my cherry-loving dad. Personally, I expect to drink the occasional cup when I want something full of flavor.
