First time having a loose-leaf Chamomile. The scent when I first opened the packet was very appealing, and the flavor was mild but so much better than the bagged stuff. I like mine with just a bit of sweetener.

★★★★☆

These tea leaves smell amazing! Chamomile is really good for helping with sore throats and congestion.

★★★★★

This is a great right before bed tea. Nice and calming. A great classic. Can be steeped by itself or blended with mint or lemongrass for a greater tea flavor. Love it.

★★★★☆

Good Chamomile for right before you want to go to sleep, relaxes you a whole lot!

the pure chamomile tea really helps me to rest well. The taste is not my favorite but is one of the better tasting chamomile out there. Add honey it taste better. I do buy regularly. Thank you Adagio team

I'm sorry to write this review. I suppose I simply do not like chamomile. It was the first time (I've drank it on two settings to be certain I hadn't just botched it horribly the first time around) I've drank this in my life, and it just doesn't do it for me.

I can understand why people enjoy this before bed. It has a bit of a 'heavy' quality, or perhaps a 'thick' quality that could easily lull one to sleep. The quality appears to be high enough, and I enjoyed seeing the tea pre- and post-steeping.

The scent of this tea, however, is noxious to me. I could hardly stand it, and despite my best efforts, half of it went without being drunk. The taste mirrors the scent (unfortunately for me), so if you enjoy the scent, perhaps you will also like the taste of the tea.

I found that using only one, rather than two, equivalents of the tea was fairly successful in reducing the sickly scent/taste of the tea to something near bearable. I think I will gift most, if not the remainder, of this tea to a friend in hopes that she will discover Adagio herself.

This is the first time I've tried chamomile tea and Adagio's is delicious. It has the most delightful fruity note at the beginning of a sip, like a white grape juice flavor. However, after only a few sips I began experiencing a serious allergic reaction with my throat and tongue swelling, massive headache, tachycardia, etc. This is not Adagio's fault! I just never knew until now that I have a food allergy to chamomile. So FYI, if you have an allergy to ragweed, you could potentially have a food allergy to plants in the same family (chamomile, nettle, dandelion, etc.). Drink them cautiously the first time.

The first time I tried this tea, I was surprised by the apple-y flavor and aroma! This fruity-floral aroma is what makes this tea really great. Maybe someone could mix this with cinnamon and tell me if it tastes like apple pie? It would be a neat experiment. If you buy this tea, there is one caveat: make sure you have a filter, or you get this in bag form. The fine chamomile flowers will get stuck in a mesh strainer, and they will leak out of a ball. If you don't mind the little bits of flower in your tea, though, this is a great tea.

Have never really been a chamomile fan so when I got a sample of this tea with another order, I wasn't sure about it. Adagio's chamomile is wow! This has so many flavors, it's strong but not and it's even a bit spicy, definitely the best chamomile I've ever had!

★★★★★

Pure chamomile is splendid. I don't think I will ever be able to go back to bagged chamomile.

★★★☆☆

I hate to say this but.. I like bagged chamomile better? After reading all the positive reviews, I'm not sure if I'm brewing it wrong or if my taste buds are retarded. I've been drinking bagged for years and it was always my favorite before I discovered (other) loose teas. I thought for sure I would love this and bought quite a bit! This doesn't even taste like chamomile to me. I guess if you called it any other name and I wasn't comparing it, I wouldn't MIND drinking it. It tastes a bit bitter to me. Am I brewing it wrong? I followed package instructions- 5-10 minutes at 212. (I tried variations 5 and 10 minutes both). Help? I want to like it so bad!

★★★★☆

lovely! i love having the real chamomile buds instead of bagged chamomile dust, so the flavor here is really lovely and a bit stronger than the chamomile bags i'm used to.

★★★★★

We sampled the chamomile last night. It was heavenly smooth and sweet on its own. This one is a winner. Two perfect infusions from one serving as an added benefit!

★★★★☆

nice honey and floral scent. sweetening with splenda made it taste like honey flower water. probably won't buy for itself, but i'm interested in seeing what it will blend with...

I drink this all summer long, chilled and at night when I am having trouble sleeping. It is the best chamomile I can find.

Good, very inexpensive chamomile. I have a hard time measuring this tea with my teaspoon as some of the stems in the bag are quite large.

I decided to try this one last night for a nice calming effect before lights out...it has a great fragrance and a light taste...I did add just a bit of raw sugar to enhance the flavor and instantly fell in love with this tea...the fragrance alone is worth buying this tea, but the flavor is the real star.

★★★★★

love this chamomile, very pure and light! mixes really well with any other white, green, or herbal!

★★★★★

A classic done quite well. Adagio's chamomile is nice and fluffy with a very genuine sweetness to it - I'd be surprised if you needed to doctor it up in any capacity. very satisfying. Only complaint is that it's more challenging than any other loose leaf tea to clean out of the ingenuiTEA, but even then, it's worth the extra work.

★★★★★

One of the best chamomile teas I've had, lots of whole flowers, very little dust, strong bright flavor.

★★★★★

The perfect chamomile. The only way I could imagine this being better is to grow it yourself. Slightly sweet and very flavorful. I would recommend a fine mesh diffuser. Great with or without sweetener. Stevia works nicely.

People either love or hate chamomile. I can't stand it by itself, personally, but I love it in blends, and this stuff is high quality. Lots of chamomile is essentially the dust left over from the good stuff--the little flowers. Adagio's chamomile is almost all little sun-like buds, and extremely potent. You rarely need even 20 in a blend.

★★★★★

I had never had loose leaf chamomile before, but it was excellent. Good flavor, not much honey needed as it has this natural sweetness. Great buy.

I drink at least one strong cup of chamomile each morning and at bedtime, and have tried numerous brands and companies. This is the best for me so far. It brews a hearty golden herbal cup in ten-15 minutes and leaves no bitter metallic aftertaste as some will. Large flower heads, very golden and very good.

★★★★★

love the deep chamomile flavor! I got it as a sample and will be purchasing the full size next time.

★★★★★

One of my favs to drink in the evening. It helps me put an end tot he day!

★★★★☆

A cup of chamomile is great for relaxing after a long day.

★★★★★

No problems with this tea! The flowers were whole, they were in good condition and not pulverized, and the tea was excellent!

★★★★★

Adagio does some of the best chamomile I've ever had. Strongly recommended for a nighttime tea.

★★★★★

The flowers are gorgeous, and it's so aromatic. Most store-bought chamomile really only has its signature scent, but this one adds a light, floral scent.

★★★★★

It smells almost like honey. Very soothing, nice cup of tea.

Wonderful flavorful tea for any time of day. Highly recommend.

★★★★☆

This blend was tasty. I like to have a cup after dinner.

★★★★★

I've had chamomile tea several times in my life, and I've hated it every single time. Up until now that is. Warm and floral, with a somewhat haylike quality and slightly reminiscent of oats as well.

★★★★★

Adagio chamomile is much better than many of the loose leaf chamomiles out there. It has a very full, sweet flavor.

★★★☆☆

I got this as a free sample but wasn't too impressed. While having whole flowers sounds good on paper, it takes far longer to brew (10 mins) than a cheaper ground-up chamomile tea.

★★★★★

Chamomile is one of my favorite teas. The flavor is amazing and great plain or mixed. Great for a relaxing evening.

★★★★★

Chamomile is the best tea for when you just want to go to sleep.

★★★★★

Some of the best chamomile I have ever had. I like to combine it with peppermint tea to make a relaxing warm drink for the end of the day.

★★★★★

Lovelove. From the smell in the bag to the solid flavor that holds up for two steepings (didn't try a third), this is a great base for herbal blends.

Great chamomile tea, wonderful for relaxing in the evening before bed or settling an upset stomach. Very calming and soothing.

I don't like the taste of this tea so I passed on what I purchased to someone who could appreciate it.

★★★☆☆

I feel like the quality of this tea has significantly decreased during the past few years.. Camomile flowers used to be big, full and luscious, but now they're much smaller, dried and brittle.. I'm not sure if it's because I ordered when it wasn't in season or if I got a bad batch or something, but I bought the largest size for my mum and was a bit embarrassed for giving her what looked like cheapo, poor quality chamomile.

★★★★★

Some of the freshest chamomile I've ever tasted. will definitely re-purchase again. Calming.

Wow! I've been drinking teas for a couple years now. How did I miss having this one? It's so good! Apple flavor permeates with a floral undertone and then a kind of earthy, like sage maybe, finish. The finish is hard to describe but it's extremely pleasant. The best thing must be the apple top notes, though, for sure. I was surprised to see the flower buds. I had never seen real chamomile tea before. I'm afraid now that of anyone offers me a tea bag version from the market, or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, I will probably politely turn it down. No way it can compare to this.
