The only reason I have given this a 5 star rating is because it can be used in many different ways. I don't like the smell and taste but I use it for other things. I also give my neighbor the tea as a gift because she absolutely loves it. Says that if you add a little vanilla extract to it it's even better. Hey, if that's what you're into I say go forth and enjoy!
I've tried lots of different chamomile teas everybody.. nothing compares to this. Generally I double steep chamomile because the flavor is so light for me, but a teaspoon of this is absolutely packed with flavor. Something about this tea actually makes me sleepy like chamomile is sometimes used for. Bonus points for being the whole piece of the flower instead of the shredded bits that other brands sell. Just got my 8oz bag today and I'm set!

This is a perfect chamomile! It has a light, floral fragrance and delicate but sweet flavor, even without sweetener. Definitely an excellent example of a plain chamomile.
To be fair, I've never enjoyed the aroma or flavor of Chamomile tea. So the one star is absolutely preferential taste. I was looking forward to trying this simply because I'm a fan of Adagio's quality and care with their teas. I just can't get past this one, though. If you like Chamomile, you will likely love this tea. If you don't, then move on to something else.
Turns out chamomile is just one of those odd, 'well that's not awful but I don't need it again' teas. Very strange small before it's brewed too.
I wasn't a huge fan of the fragrance, but the taste was surprisingly good. Definitely floral in flavor. Prehaps my palate is off but I feel like I also got subtle hints of spice and nuts at the end. Would probably be good with a little honey.
I haven’t had chamomile tea before. I don’t think it’s for me. I’m just not a fan but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a good tea, just not for me.
This was not a pleasant experience. I steeped it for 5 min as instructed and it was very very bitter. I tasted no apples or floral notes only a dry medicinal bitter flavor. It does smell faintly of apples and honey. What’s really strange is that adding honey or sugar did not help. In fact it made it taste like children’s medicine. It also caused me to become anxious instead of relaxing me. This is a hard pass for me. If blended with something else I’m sure it would be better but alone is a nope

I've always found chamomile to be a very soothing, mild tea. It's excellent for days when you're feeling a bit under the weather.
There is something about the aroma of Chamomile tea that I don't enjoy. That said, this one is much better than others I have tried. Certainly smooth on throat. If it just smelled differently. :(

I've never been a fan of chamomile in blends, so I'm shocked by how much I enjoy it straight up. Sweet, soothing and delicious. Smells great too and I love the gold color of the steeped tea.
It's long past time to accept that I might hate chamomile and maybe time to start wondering if I'm lowkey allergic or something. Is chamomile supposed to make your mouth buzzy and sore for hours after drinking? Hmmm.
Chamomile is never a disappointment; but I will say that going from teavana to adagio the jump in quality was mind blowing! I'm pretty disappointed I'd say with teavana after my experience here.
I'm not sure if 'apple' is the right word to describe the flavor. I'd compare it more to clover honey (which incidentally, is very good as a sweetener with this tea). Aside from that, it's a smooth, calming cup perfect for winding down.

A solid chamomile that has been very consistent so far. It has the usual apple notes, with an earthy aroma and taste to it. The floral characteristics are usually mild, but it is nicely balanced. A great standard chamomile to keep around.

This is the first pure Chamomile tea I've had and I am not disappointed at all. Even though the steep time is on the longer side it is worth it. The flavor is subtle. However, if you add a teaspoon or so of honey the flavor is lifted and rrally comes through. A very nice relaxing and comforting team. Great for bedtime.

Really good quality chamomile. I m struck by how much 'apple' there is in it, which I find really complementary to the floral flavor. I appreciate that Adagio is working directly on this product, but feel an organic or fair trade designation should be possible at this price point.
This tea is fragrant, soothing, and has a lovely color. I bought the tea bags and could still see the whole flower inside. As a bonus I enjoyed reading the post card about the grower that came with my order.
This is the perfect way to go to sleep! I have been drinking it 45 minutes before going to bed for a month and it helps me relax.
I didn't realize the bag was going to be so big! The flavor is good and you can smell the chamomile the second you open the bag.
