I hate giving a review like this, BUT it is only because I couldn't get past the smoke flavor. It was just wayyy too much for me. I am sure if you love smoky flavors, then this tea is just right for you!
Honeybush hazelnut and cocoa nibs relax and ground you, while a spice blend of aniseed, cinnamon, clove, and orange peel offer cozy comfort.

Quite smoky, reminds me of a nice peaty scotch or a rauchbier. Great on a cold night!
It has a definite autumn feel, but doesn't really have anything that stands out to recommend it. It's not great but it's not bad.
This tea isn t bad but I think I just don t like the taste of Lapsang Souchong & Aniseed very much. It certainly isn t undrinkable just not my favorite. @adagioteas
Didn’t care for this one. Anise is overpowering, so I can’t taste any of the other lovely ingredients.
Smokey in a good way, this tea really does make you think of cold nights and campfires!
A flavor that catches the spirit of winter holidays and puts it in a cup! Super tasty!
Very powerful 'bonfire' smell and flavor. Recommended if you like a Smoky taste
I wish this was offered year-round, so I bought a pound of it this time. I love all the warm autumn flavors and the hint of smoke from the lapsong suchong
The smell is heavy but tea itself is too light in my opinion
oh man, what an acquired taste. Like anything with lapsang souchong this has a very distinctive flavor and aroma that you either love or hate. This is very lapsang forward - personally, I am not a fan, but I bought this for a friend who loves all things smokey and she loved it.
One of my all time favorite teas! Great warm flavors, paired well with milk! My non tea loving friends enjoy it as well. A sweet, warm and dark brew that anyone could love.
A new favorite of mine. Spiced and wonderfully aromatic. This is going to be one of those I end up buying a huge bag of and drinking for months.
This tea is warm and toasty. It provides the bonfire when you can’t have a bonfire. The slightly Smokey flavor is incredible.
I'm not sure how they added that slightly smoky taste but this is by far one of my favorite teas for cold nights.
As a side note, serving this tea to several people it appears to come in a love/dislike category - kinda like Marmite (which I don't like) so if you're curious get a sample size first. Work through the first cup. It's different but the taste might grow on you.
Love, love, love Bonfire! Smoky, peaty, fragrant, fun...Score!
Everything about this tea exudes cozy. I enjoy the hazelnut notes combined with the smoky/peppercorn notes. Honeybush is a fantastic base tea in Bonfire. An instant favorite!
This is my favourite fall-time tea, it tastes like something very familiar from my childhood - although I cannot place what it was... We enjoy it with a splash of milk.
Smokey scent was very strong, but the flavor was very mild in comparison. I certainly don’t regret trying the sample, but not one I’ll be buying again
It does a good job of simulating a bonfire, though I'm not a fan of how the result tastes.
I like a spicy tea but this one is a bit much for me. It is good but there are other blends I like better.
This is a fun holiday tea which is smokey without being as overwhelming as a straight Lapsang Souchong. This 'herbal' tea does incorporate that distinct black tea, so be prepared for a zing of smoke and astringency. Brew it light, because even cream and sugar have a difficult time mellowing out this tea. It is a fun holiday experience, truly like a campfire in a cup, but probably not a tea I will be stocking up on or drinking often. A sample goes a long way... @adagioteas
It wasn’t a really bold flavor at all. Maybe I need to steep it longer? Very subtle but not terrible.
I like this tea much more than the Campfire Smores. It’s smoky and spicy. Perfect for a night by the fire. I also enjoy it with a bit of Bailey’s Irish cream.
Smoky, rich and satisfying. Bought for my mom. Good stuff.
Honestly, this blend doesn't have much of a taste despite all the flavors in it.
This tea just did not work for me, nor anyone else I offered a taste of my brew to. The flavors just did not come together with the peppercorn in particular being a distraction from the others. The only redeeming factor I can offer is that the Lapsang Souchong was spot on, providing just enough smokiness to capture that 'bonfire' feel without completely obliterating everything else in the cup.
This blend was fun! A little spicy, a little fruity, had kind of an artificial smell and aftertaste but overall I think this tea was pretty good. :D
Wonderfully smokey flavor without being overpowering
Bonfire is amazing! I fill my wax warmer with bonfire scented melts, make myself a cup of this, and get cozy by the fire. Heaven!
It smells like a fire. It tastes fantastic. We were all surprised how it smell just like a bonfire but only in all the good ways.
Oh I LIKE this.
Judging by the reviews, it seemed pretty clear that this is a love-it-or-hate-it tea, and I'm firmly on the 'love it' side. There's a lot of flavor in this tea, which I love, and it's a complex flavor, which is even better. There are warm spicy notes but it's also toasty, with a warm nutty, almost caramel-y base from the honeybush. It's such a good cold day tea! It's such a good tea in general. A+ for this one.
Such a unique flavor. Havent had anything like it.
Bonfire is my preferred tea in autumn. The spice is invigorating. the smoke is subtle. I love to drink it when I eat my lunch outside on crisp, fall days.
The scent was overpowering in a bad way, while I was expected a warm spiced flavor it tasted more like something that was burned.
I love the way this tea smelled, yet it did taste too peppery for me. My kids loved it though!
This is my absolute favorite tea. Perfect for fall nights. It is smokey and rich with a nice little spice to it.
Too smoky for my taste. Others may love it but it's not my favorite
this tea was a sample and tastes good with all the different varying flavors
I've had some varying reviews with this particular blend, but it seems to be largely agreed that you either like it or you hate it; there doesn't seem to be an in between. If you're a fan of Lapsang, or at least find it to be palatable, even if it's not your favorite- then you'll probably enjoy this blend. If you can't stand it, unfortunately, it is a pretty prominent taste, even with all the other mixings so you should probably steer clear of this particular seasonal blend.
A pretty good tea, though not included in my favorites.
Beautiful tea. The warming flavor profile is excellent for cold weather, and the scent makes me nostalgic for this little imports store I loved as a child.
It was like drinking smoke. I couldn't drink it and I've tried on a couple of occasion. The strong smoke flavor obscures any other flavors.
This one was very good and fun. All the chai blends mixed well together to give it a smoky, fruity flavor. Great as an evening tea on a cold night!
I am not a fan of smoky flavors, but my husband cannot seem to get enough of this one. As the minimal-tea-drinker he is, that earns this one a 5 star. @adagioteas
Smells like a bonfire. Tastes like a bonfire. Not sure what I was expecting but I found it fascinating and true to the description. I just have to decide if it's a taste that I love.
Not a fan - this had a smoky, burnt flavor that didn't taste good in a tea form. Tasted a bit like a cigar.
Definitely can taste the Smokey flavor in this tea. Not my favorite but not bad.
Great cinnamon taste! Love it for an earthy, chilly autumn evening.
I love this tea! I was nervous the tea would be too smoky but I was pleasantly surprised. I drink my teas with milk and honey so that may have toned down the smoke. This tea makes me feel like I’m sitting around a campfire in Fall. I was careful not to oversteep and used a lower temperature to keep the flavors milder.
