I don't like blood oranges, but was ordering this tea for a friend and had to try some. I'm in love! It's sweet and bitter. I love it at work between meals for it's appetite suppresant qualities.
Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

great citrus flavor. a bit sweet on its own so i find it needs no additional sweetener, but my husband likes it with a little agave.
Not something I'd drink every day, but definitely good for a pick-me-up. I'll keep this around for my next head cold or sore throat.
Blood Orange comes second to Citron Green in our house. Not good cold, has to be nice a hot for it to be tasty.
PLEASE restock more of this tea! I received my sample size yesterday and was in pure heaven! I have a big sweet tooth and this tea does not disappoint!
This is my new go-to for herbal tea. I love the fresh citrus and tangy flavor. I'm still trying to find the right tea to water ratio. Add too much tea and it will be a bit too tart.
Pretty sour on its own, but I blended a small amount of it with rooibos vanilla to make something like a Dreamsicle. YUM!
Love this tea, and love the name. Great balance of flavors!
This is possibly the perfect winter citrus tea. Sweet and lovely hot, and delicious iced
I think this tea is better used to complement other teas than on its own. The orange flavor is not too overwhelming, and ir is refreshing.
This is amazingly flavorful... outright juicy!! My young son drinks it like crazy... we all do. Just lightly sweetened. I can't get enough of this! Great hot or cold.
This has been my favorite tea so far, I love the orange taste. It has a pleasant sweetness to it and is even good iced. Will definitely be buying lots of this tea.
I *love* orange, and this was some really good orange tea! It was so tart and delicious, and I can only guess that with sugar it would taste like an orange candy. Yum! I think it would be great iced as well.
Yummm! This is very nice. Will be a great tea to blend with others for a very special treat.
This tea was very very sweet! It has a nice color and scent, but it is not for everyday drinkin.
Absolutely amazing! I was always a fan of the orange tea in bags so I knew I had to try this one once I got into looseleaf tea. I couldn't have been more impressed, it smells delicous, tastes even beter and I always want to come back for more...definitely something I'll get again and again.
A great punchy brew with a twinge of sour in the finish like a perfect glass of lemonade. I think this tea is a wonderful option both hot and iced.
Delicious herbal mix. As stated by some of the previous reviews, it does taste remarkable similiar to ecto cooler and is, therefore, delicious.
I enjoyed this tea after adding some sugar, but given I prefer tea sugar-free, I can't rate it "great" - I found it a little too bitter as a stand-alone tea.
This is my favorite addative for iced teas. Great when it is hot, I like to add this to oolong #40 then ice it! No suger or sweeteners needed when blood orange is there.
This reminds my of Christmas, opening the boxes of fresh oranges from my grandma in FL and uncle in TX. My sister and I would always fight over the few blood oranges. Good both hot and iced, this tea works well with and without sweetner. If brewed too long, orange oils seem to taste funny, a little bitter maybe, to me but pouring it over ice is a quick and yummy fix.
My favorite of the herbals. A real nice flavor! The tea itself is just dried pulp and rinds which are not horrible to eat! A sweet treat.
The orange taste is nice, though it was surprisingly close to drowned out by the apple pieces and safflower -- the tea tastes more buttery than orangeish. Still a fairly pleasant flavor, but not quite what I was expecting.
This is definately a stronger flavor. I wouldn't leave the tea in for any extra time! The orange smell that the tea gives off while it is steaping is just beautiful!
I was pleasantly surprised. One cup just won't do it. I find myself wanting more every time. My neighbor introduced me to it about a month ago and I fell in love with it... I want to buy one of everything... and I will probably come real close. Great website, great products, great service.
I'm not really a herbal tea person so I always mix this one with a flavored black tea. It goes add to the taste.
Tart, but not sweet, as others have said. However, I like this as an additive to green teas. I've tried it with a stronger green like gunpowder and also with a lighter flavor like dragonwell and both were enjoyable combos. On its own it is a bit tangy, but I presume this would be great after a thick hearty meal to refresh the mouth and mood.
This was completely different than what I was expecting; it had a real tang to it. I tried it both with honey and without, and while it had very faint bitter undertones, adding honey muted the zestiness of it - so try it sans any sweetener.
This is one of the best teas for making a sweet iced tea. It is reminiscent of a fruity punch sort of drink. It really doesn't need any sweetener although I have such a sweet tooth that I added some stevia to it. De-lish!!!
It has a very good aroma and flavor. I didn't have much success blending it with anything.
great in the mornings to wake up with. refreshing!
This tea unfortunately didn't do it for me. At times, I felt like I was drinking cough syrup diluted in hot water. The aftertaste was unpleasant and my mouth felt strange after drinking this. Unless you're a true fan of orange, I would not recommend this.
A nice tea for before bedtime. THe orange flavor comes threw really well and kinda sweet.
The blood orange is a decent fruit tea but it gets boring quickly. I think it would be best served cold.
it has a sour sweet bite to but yet its one of those teas that you can relax with
This didn't have quite as much of an orange taste as I'd hoped for. I'd buy it again, but I think it's a bit of a let-down as far as the passionate orange taste I'd expected.
Very tangy and bright. A little too zingy for me. Beautiful color and fun to mix with other teas.
This tea has a wonderful citrus flavor, a bit strong if anything, add something sweet to balance it out and have your tongue in heaven.
Nice strong orange flavor. Now I just need to figure out what other teas it would blend nicely with.
Tastes great! Doesn't even need sugar to sweeten it up!
A little goes a LONG LONG way. Super sour...and I like sour. Maybe I haven't gotten the hang of how this tea brews. I think this would make a great blend with another tea...it's just 'so so' by itself.
My favorite Adagio tea thus far. A little goes a long way, definitely restocking my supply ASAP.
Excellent flavor; minimal sweetness and great blended with other teas.
just like the real thing! sweet yet sour. and the color of the pieces and the tisane are gorgeous.
As my friend described 'It's a kick in the crotch, of orange!' Very strong orange taste, an impressive taste. I enjoy this tea both hot and iced, iced a little more.
This tea boldly goes out and says 'I'm different! I'm an individual!'
Good, but be careful because this tea likes to be a bit finicky. It turns bitter very quickly if left unattended. It works better if mixed with other teas, and even then, watch out!
I had to get this again. I had this as a sample the first time, and I blew threw it. I upgraded to a large tin of it, and have been working steadily through it. The taste is a nice tart citrus wit a bit of sweetness. I even made some of this iced, and it was great!
This tea is bland. I was expecting a strong sweet orange taste much like an actual blood orange, but I didn't find it here. It's not that it's a bad tea, it just didn't stand out to me.
My roommates and I all love this one, though we add varying amounts of sweeteners to it -- holds up well to honey or sugar, but its tart and fruity flavor can be enjoyed on its own! Gorgeous color, too; I bet it would be fun on ice in clear glasses.
This is a good tea hot or iced. My favorite iced tea is a combination of this and Adagio peach. I keep this on hand all year.
