Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

★★★★★

Blood Orange is amazing! It gives off such a strong scent and is very soothing going down. I highly recommend it!

★★★★☆

Strong orange essence, it can definitely be overpowering on its own but it's great for blending with citrus based teas or other classic teas such as the earl grey bravo to give them an extra touch of citrus flavor.

★★★★★

Loved this as a change of pace iced tea. I'd never tried any herbal teas iced before, and this struck an excellent note. Used my Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker and used five teaspoons for a three quart brew. I only bought a sample to try, but this will definitely be on my reorder list. The orange flavor is strong and the tea is a light red color that just looks appetizing.

★★★★★

I received a sample of this tea as a gift, and could not get enough of it! It's beguiling tart zing is so addicting!

Fruit lovers will absolutely fall in love with this tea! It was crisp and delightful with a soft aftertaste, I will be buying this again.

★★★★★

Great orange flavor, full citrus nose. I enjoyed this one very much and I intend to purchase it again.

★★★★★

My new favorite herbal tea! Its very sweet, but can be made a bit spicy by adding some cloves. I like it both hot and iced.

★★★★★

I typically do not like fruit teas, however, this particular one is worth trying. Nice :)

★★★★☆

It has such a natural orange taste and aroma with possessing any bitter undertones.

★★★★★

Tangy and refreshing by itself. Excellent with some honey and whiskey as a hot toddy.

★★★★★

Despite the somewhat unappealing name (just not a vampire fan, I guess), this has a wonderfully pleasing taste and delightful aroma that just begs for one more cup. Anyone who loves the taste of oranges and fruit teas should be quick to grab this one. I've also found that it makes an excellent base for adding other flavors, especially some of the spice teas. I immediately ordered a big bag of this one, knowing I was going to be drinking a lot of it.

★★★☆☆

This was just ok for me. It is very tart. It has lots of flavor. If you like tart citrus drinks then this is for you.

★★★★★

The smell is wonderful and tastes very nice, I steeped a bit longer.

★★★★★

This is a great fruit tea. Very bold blood orange taste that is not too overpowering.

Favorite fruit tea. Hands down. It's great hot or iced. I love it. Being caffeine free, I also love to unwind with it as a final treat at the end of the day.

★★★☆☆

This tisane smells way better than it tastes. Tastes a bit like Kool-Aid that you forgot to add sugar to.

★★★★★

Loved the flavor and the full body of this herbal tea.

★★★★☆

This blend has great aroma and visual appeal. It tastes good. The best part of it are the first two points I mentioned.

★★★★★

This tea is delicious both without anything in it and with a little honey. Adding a sweetener cuts down on the sourness, but it tastes like I'm eating a real blood orange. One of my new favorites.

★★★★★

Although somewhat tart by itself, this herbal tea makes a refreshing hot or iced tea with nothing added.

Found adagio teas through their ad on Ninjacamp.com. Blood Orange is not my favorite tea. Very strong orange flavor. Felt like I couldn't get the steeping down right. Did not like it sweetened.

★★★★☆

This is a very flavorful tea that tastes great with some sugar added, but don't oversteep it or it becomes a bit too 'tart.'

★★★★★

It's my favorite iced herbal tea! It's tangy and sour and hits pretty high on citrus notes for a tea variety.

★★★★★

One of my new favorite tisanes. The color is beautiful and the flavor magnificent! A touch of agave syrup offsets the slight bitterness.

★★★★☆

I thought this is good! Add a little agave and to sweeten it up!

★★★★★

So delicious. Sweet but not sickening! One cup is never enough! The flavors work very well together and create a really nice combination of flavors. I highly recommend it.

Good with breakfast. So much better than orange juice. But I can't get the steep time right. It's really sensitive and always comes out sour. Honey is best in this, but if you use sugar be careful. It doesn't need much. Still playing around with it, not totally satisfied.

Makes a delicious iced tea - without adding sugar. If you're seeking bold *orangey* flavor - then you won't be disappointed! I like to blend it with a green or black tea to make it last - steep more than once.

★★★★★

This is probably the best orange flavored tea that I have had. Very clean, not too in your face!

★★★★☆

Blood orange tea is pretty good. I would never turn it down. However I probably will not buy it again. I was expecting a more orange taste. It seem a bit artificial, like a toostie pop.

My family can't enough of this bold flavour tea. It's rich, full bodied. The best of the herb teas. highly recommend.

★★☆☆☆

too heavy on the blood part. it tastes a bit heavy handed. too blunt. sorry. I like most of your teas.

★★★★☆

This tea was fruity and refreshing without being overpowering.

★★★★☆

An essential tea for a citrus lover. The orange paired with hibiscus makes a wonderfully tart cup of tea. Every sip is a burst of flavor.

★★★★★

This smells so good out the bag that I didn't want to make tea with it. It has a fruity, sweet taste and there's really no need to add other things. I prefer this drink when it's warm.

I love blood oranges, and this tea had a perfect flavor! it could have a stronger smell, though.

★★★★★

This tea is absolutely amazing. Citrus-y and delicious, just what I want on a fall day!

★★★★☆

I give this tea to my daughter in the winter. I make it iced in the summer for the whole family. A great flavor, no caffeine=who could ask for more?!

Great everyday tea. Very strong smell and good orange flavor. Great mixed with rooibos.

★★★★★

I found the blood orange to be quite enjoyable. It has a great fruity flavor without being overpowering. It is definitly one I will be purchasing again.

★★★☆☆

I can't seem to get the hang of brewing this--it's always just a little too acidic for me, no matter how brief the steep. The citrus flavor and aroma are otherwise excellent.

★★★★☆

The bag opens, and the smell hits. So nice, so relaxing. The tea gets brewed, and there's no more to say. This is a pleasant drink to have at any time, though is really nice at night, since it doesn't have the caffeine.

★★★★☆

Very nice flavor and smell. I would rate it one an 8/10, worth a shot for someone looking for a herbal tea.

★★★★★

My favorite herbal tea. This tea makes the whole house smell good when brewing and tastes even better than it smells, just like drinking a fresh orange.

★★★★★

Love it! I am new to Adagio teas and this is the first one I tried from my order. Wonderfully strong orange flavor, which I really look for. I think I'll try the plain orange next... :)

This tea is absolutely awesome, great either in the morning or at night. It's caffeine free, and but the citrus keeps me alert and peppy. I use honey to sweeten it to counter the sourness, but with sugar it's also awesome. Will definitely order again.

★★★★★

A lovely, delicious tea. It set my mouth to watering with its gorgeous blood orange scent (not as sometimes treacly as a regular orange) from the moment I first opened the tin. I added a bit of sugar to mine out of habit, but I probably didn't need to. I enjoy it hot, but this would make an especially delicious iced tea as well. The flavor of the tea is slightly less pungent than the actual aroma of the tea, but this is not a drawback. The color of the tea is a beautiful, deep, deep purpley-red. I just got this tea but I *love* it.
