Despite the somewhat unappealing name (just not a vampire fan, I guess), this has a wonderfully pleasing taste and delightful aroma that just begs for one more cup. Anyone who loves the taste of oranges and fruit teas should be quick to grab this one. I've also found that it makes an excellent base for adding other flavors, especially some of the spice teas. I immediately ordered a big bag of this one, knowing I was going to be drinking a lot of it.
This was just ok for me. It is very tart. It has lots of flavor. If you like tart citrus drinks then this is for you.

Good with breakfast. So much better than orange juice. But I can't get the steep time right. It's really sensitive and always comes out sour. Honey is best in this, but if you use sugar be careful. It doesn't need much. Still playing around with it, not totally satisfied.

Blood orange tea is pretty good. I would never turn it down. However I probably will not buy it again. I was expecting a more orange taste. It seem a bit artificial, like a toostie pop.

I can't seem to get the hang of brewing this--it's always just a little too acidic for me, no matter how brief the steep. The citrus flavor and aroma are otherwise excellent.
The bag opens, and the smell hits. So nice, so relaxing. The tea gets brewed, and there's no more to say. This is a pleasant drink to have at any time, though is really nice at night, since it doesn't have the caffeine.

This tea is absolutely awesome, great either in the morning or at night. It's caffeine free, and but the citrus keeps me alert and peppy. I use honey to sweeten it to counter the sourness, but with sugar it's also awesome. Will definitely order again.
A lovely, delicious tea. It set my mouth to watering with its gorgeous blood orange scent (not as sometimes treacly as a regular orange) from the moment I first opened the tin. I added a bit of sugar to mine out of habit, but I probably didn't need to. I enjoy it hot, but this would make an especially delicious iced tea as well. The flavor of the tea is slightly less pungent than the actual aroma of the tea, but this is not a drawback. The color of the tea is a beautiful, deep, deep purpley-red. I just got this tea but I *love* it.

My "go-to" tea is a Ceylon Sonata/ Blood Orange blend (a 3-to-1 ratio). It is such a wonderful blend- an excellent black tea, with a sweet and fruity addition. I have not tried it by itself yet. I am generally a fan of sweet teas, but when I have attempted a 2-to-1 ratio, the Blood Orange became too overpowering. But at the right amount, nothing compares!
This tea was for my grandmother and she loves it. I've tried it and maybe I can't get the steep right but its incredibly bitter. You really need to pack in the sweetener in this one. I will say though it has a great taste, I just wish I wasn't cringing with each sip (and believe me I love sour.)
Love this one with eggs and toast in the morning, it helps round out breakfast with it's full citrus flavor.
