Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

If you want something that tastes has strong orange flavor without the bitter notes, this is the one for you. Each cup is refreshing, and since its summer I let each cup cool to room temperature for maximum steeping time (and flavor) and crispness.

Got it for my dad and he said it doesn't taste like blood but does taste like oranges so 8/10 good job

I loved this tea. It was my absolute favorite this shipment, my fun moment in the day. Already ordered more!

I love hibiscus and love citrus flavors so was so excited to try this tea. Needless to say it was super disappointing. The hibiscus is not as pronounced as Id hope and the Lemon peel is so over powering. If you’re looking for a good hibiscus herbal blend the elderberry wine it way better

So my boyfriend and I are not fans of this tea by itself, but I think that's more due to personal preference and I don't fault the tea for that because we actually were skeptical of whether we would like an orange flavored tea when we purchased it, so I got it purely because the reviews were good and I wanted to try something different. Anyways, we do LOVE adding it to our pure chamomile tea! Somehow that just perfectly balances the flavors for us. It really is so bizarre because I dislike this orange tea by itself but I actually enjoy the chamomile + orange tea combo WAY more than just pure chamomile. So I'm very happy with this purchase. We do 1-2 tsp of this tea per every 4 tsp of chamomile for 2 cups of tea total (chamomile tea is supposed to be 2 tsp tea per 1 cup).

Wonderful smell, plus I love most teas with hibiscus in it.

I really like this tea so far. It has a beautiful, sweet and rosy aroma. It is a bit tart as I am used to black tea which tends to be a bit bitter. I find though that with the right amount of sugar this quality is surprisingly delightful! Almost like a juice blend rather than a tea.

I've made a few pitchers of this iced to serve and it's been a hit, but personally I find it to be a little sourer than I like. I'd recommend it but I wouldn't order it again myself (at least not regularly).

★★★☆☆

I can definitely taste the orange in this, but like most herbal teas the taste is slightly dull; However, it still has a pretty good citrus taste. :D

For some reason it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Couldn't taste any orange.

★★★★★

this is my husband's favorite tea. the distinct aroma of blood orange, vivid color.

★★★☆☆

Sweet, fruity, tart. I added a Little Rock sugar to cut the tartness of this brew. Quite nice, though.

Great mix with the peach Bellini. Perfect aroma and a wonderful fruity iced tea. A little rock sugar to sweeten the deal and everyone will love it.

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea. The orange flavor is so bright. No chemical flavor like some other teas. Just great fruit flavor.

★★★★★

The scent of the tea is Heavenly and the taste is divine.

★★★★★

A new favorite! I've only tried it hot so far, but looking forward to trying it iced as the weather warms. Wonderfully bright orange flavor, with lots of depth. I'll definitely be buying a larger bag!
Update: I DID buy the big bag, and am now loving my iced Blood Orange as the perfect refresher on hot days. Perfect.

I have bought this 3 times, and each time I remember why. Definitely yummy when cold brewed.

★★★★☆

Delicious! Perfect amount of bitter and sweet (though a dash of sugar would make it just the right amount of sweet). I don't usually like herbal teas but I think I'll end up buying this again.

★★★★★

I love this Blood Orange Tea. Refreshing and lots of flavor

★★★★★

Very flavor full, putting honey in to sweeten it brings out the orange flavor , and it's really good as ice tea but I prefer it hot

I really enjoy this flavor. It is true to blood orange and is deeper and darker in flavor than a bright citrus.

This is alright, but just didn't find it equal to another orange blend from another that went out of business, in my opinion.

This is a great representation of a blood orange flavor. Slightly astringent with a tart/sweet orange flavor.

I blended this tea with the Kona Pineapple tea for a tropical blend. It was very flavorful!

★★★★★

Probably my favorite herbal blend on here. Tart but not overwhelming. Delicious.

★★★★☆

The flavor from this is almost exactly like drinking Tang but smoother, its very strong and aromatic and definitely pairs well with breakfast, a good eye opener. I don't think you have to worry about over steeping as I have left it for as long as 10 minutes or so and did not affect the quality.
