Blood Orange Customer Reviews

Deep vibrant color and sweet flavor. Hearty with a good balance of orange peel dryness and fruit juiciness.

★★★☆☆

This one isn't as bad as the others. However, the fruit flavor in this and many Adagio teas reminds me of the flavoring they use in hard candy and cheap soda; even though I know it's not artificial flavor, it still tastes kind of fake. It's just not good.

Definitely one of the best nice night time tea...

I had my first sip of this tea after taking a bite of a piece of dark chocolate and the combination was delicious. I also love the color of the tea, that why now I always drink it in my glass cup I got from Adagio. It smells wonderful too!

★★★☆☆

Not a fan of this one. I enjoyed the orange, but didn't like the flowery taste it had. Not sure if it was the rose or hibiscus?

This one was yummy. Loved the orange hints in it! Great for the cooler temps too

Great tea! I like to drink it iced so I make it as advised and then I stick it in the fridge. Nice strong taste - great for spring and summer!

super good, i've even gifted this tea to other family members

★★☆☆☆

All I really tasted was hibiscus. So disappointed.

Not as Orangey as I expected but delicious cold, add Orange rind

★★★☆☆

Excellent aroma, but doesn’t have a strong orange taste when drinking. Not the best of the fruit teas from Adagio.

It s pretty good, it s an interesting blend of orange and berry flavors to me

★★★★★

I needed to put extra than what the recommended tsp per cup was, but it has a great flavor I will buy again

Gives out real nice smooth taste ... Just love it !

I will start by saying that I am quickly learning about the high quality of tea Adagio offers. This isn't a bad tea at all but not the type of tea I prefer. It's smoothe and I get a nice sense of the different flavors but it's a bit sweet for my taste.

Great orange flavor. I like it served hot or cold.

★★★★★

My go to herbal tea. With some fresh ginger and a glob of honey added it makes a great throat coat, or just a way to warm up on a cold day.

★★★☆☆

I was really hoping this would be the start of a replacement for my favorite Teavana tea, but the blood orange was quite ordinary. Not bad at all, but not rushing out to buy stock in this one.

Sweet citrus with a delightful fragrance. I found myself wishing for a bit more tartness

Wonderful orange flavor without being overpowering. This is one of my new favorites.

Not bad, but not something i d drink on its own too often. I ll have to try mixng it with other teas and seeing how I feel.

★★★★★

Bought for a friend and she loves it! The flavor was just what she was looking for.

This has a deep red color and a luscious scent. I live in the deep south where it is still warm in mid-November, so I made this to be iced. I think the flavor would be more prominent if drunk hot, but it is still lovely iced, especially as a mixer. Will definitely buy again.

Makes a great cup of iced tea with a wonderful citrus flavor

Wow! Zingy, citrusy, tangy! Wonderful with a touch of sweetness iced or as is hot. It wakes me up & puts me to sleep, so first thing in the morning or last thing before bed, it's a good choice.

First cup I added too much sugar (my own fault put to much in the cup and didn't want to waste so just went with it), still good but more candy sweet then I like. Second cup right amount and it is now my new favorite no-reason tea.
Good flavor, orange is very present but not over powering all the rest of the flavors blend together to make a sweet smooth flavor.
I use an electric kettle and serve my tea when I like the color. So please do not go by my time and temp.

Excellent. Just enough orange flavor to be tasty, but not overpowering. Grest with a little suger for sweetness.

I used to work in a chocolatier shop and my favorite combination was blood orange and dark chocolate (I know, it seems an unlikely match but it is a pairing made in heaven). I have found such a combination here on Adagio by mixing this with cocoa nibs and steeping for about 7 minutes in boiling water. Such a delight.

My partner loves blood orange so I got this for him. We both enjoyed it and it makes a great iced tea.

★★★★★

I ve never tried any tea like this before, and it took me surprise. I really liked it. Would reccomend.

★★★★★

My favorite non-caffinated tea at the moment. It's such a bright, tart, and happy tea. I've only had it hot to room temperature, but seeing so many people comment about it cold, I'll have to give that a try too!

I really wanted to like this tea. Teavana had the Wild Orange Blossom herbal tea that I LOVED! I had hoped that this tea would be similar in taste, but there's something missing from the formula. I still have to experiment with quantity and steeping times.

On its own, this tea is extremely bitter and even with milk and sugar it’s not that great tbh. It may be better mixed with other teas though

★★★★★

This is really nice! It's really flavorful, but not overpowering. Will order again!

★★☆☆☆

I have realised that am not a fan of Organelle teas. This one is really not for me. That said it can make a good base to mix with other fruity blends for a cold steep.

★★★★★

This is now my absolute favorite citrus tea! The scent when you open the package is heavenly. Bright, citrusy distinctly orange flavor. Definitely recommend if you love citrus teas.

This is one of the better blends with oranges without being too citrusy.

I think I ordered a sample of this before and loved it, but somehow forgot to order more or write a review. Simply, this tastes amazing! It tastes sweet and citrus but also dark and red. I love this. Not going to forget to buy more this time!

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite herbal teas - perfect for the winter blahs!

★★★★★

Excellent for ice tea. The orange flavor is robust.

★★★★★

Tart yet sweet. I blend this 50/50 with raspberry patch and love that you can taste the individual, unique flavors.

★★★★☆

Tastes good. Moderate flavor. Nice aroma. Might buy again!

★★★☆☆

The sample I had was amazing but I'm not sure if I ordered the wrong thing or it's just different in a bigger bag. I'm not loving it. Will probably divide into tea bags and give as gifts.

★★★★★

This one is sooo good iced or hot. I like adding cinnamon and honey!

I love Hibiscus and Orange teas. This is a good herbal tea. I didn’t really taste the Blood Orange. It is very good though. I also bought the Hibiscus tea with black tea. It should be really good with this. Maybe if it had dehydrated pieces of the fruit along with the peels instead of just the peels the flavor would be stronger. When you open the bag you can smell the aroma of blood oranges.

I love this tea. It has a wonderful, sweet orange flavor that doesn t even need much sugar added to it. I would definitely order this one again.

★★★★★

Really liked this tea. Good blend of orange peel & hibiscus flower. Great citrus flavor. I would buy this tea again.

★★★★★

Love this, I've been buying it for a few years. My favorite.

★★★☆☆

Maybe this is true if all citrus teas and I’m just woefully misinformed, but this just tastes like orange peels with none of the sweet juiciness of an orange. Maybe it would be good with some chocolate to mellow it, but it’s very bitter, and very sour, and that’s after adding plenty of sugar.

★★★★☆

A fresh and bright tea that offers an intense aroma and burst of flavor. My only complaint is that the acidity just outpaces the fruity backbone of this tea by a hair -- I imagine it is perfect sweetened.
