A nice hibiscus flavor. I do like it and the added notes of fruit.

CT 7/28/2023 - I had blueberries and cranberries in my packet. The hibiscus was a bit heavy here - made it pretty tart. 212 for 6 minutes.

It's wonderful cold brewed. There's a general fruity, tart flavor. Sweetener tones down the tartness. I don't really pick up on any one fruit flavor.

It has been so oppressively hot lately, I just had to have some iced tea. Well, this blend was lovely cold brewed. I'm sure that it tastes wonderful hot as well, but I couldn't bring myself to try it that way in this weather.

A bit too tart for me but I liked that it was caffeine free.

One of my favorite herbal teas from adagio. I like it cold or warm.

I steeped this one hot (for 6 minutes) and then drank it cooled and unsweetened. I think all of that was a mistake; I’m not impressed by what I’m sipping. Learn from my error and try this one as an iced tea, probably with a touch of sweetener.

I love this one cold brewed. It’s slightly tart and very delicious.

This tea is mouth-watering, but mostly because it is sour - definitely doesn't satisfy the sweet tooth like some of Adagio's other berry blends. I taste a lot of tangy hibiscus and rosehips, and a bit more complexity which is probably due to the other berry flavors, but the overall tartness keeps me from distinguishing the intricacies of this one. I think this would be nice iced, and I would probably enjoy it as an enhancement or alternative to lemonade. You could also infuse it in apple cider vinegar or a honey vinaigrette with great effects. Cold-brewed and re-brewed it comes across like sour candy with a more subtly sour aftertaste, but the warm tea has such an overwhelming sourness that it's hard to taste anything else. I think this would be great for people who like hibiscus herbal teas, but it's just not my thing.

I thought I would like this judging my the packet ingredients, but this tea is not really for me. There is something weirdly medicinal bout this tea, both on the nose and in flavor, that turns me off. The online description mentions 'elderberries'. I'm not sure if that is what is making it taste off; I can't stand the elderberries. It could just be the combination of the berry types listed in the description that make it bad to me.

I was hesitant about this tea at first. Between the hibiscus and the forest berries flavor, I didn't have high hopes. Was I pleasantly surprised! After a long (24 hour) cold steep in the refrigerator, the berry flavor dominated and kept the tart from the hibiscus in check. The result was a tea that really did have a strong berry flavor complete with a little bit of tang that fresh berries will have on the finish. I added a little sweetener, but it's still good without. I finished the glass easily, and I wouldn't be adverse to having more of this around. My five-year-old might even like it...

Updated from 6/8/23: I love berry teas and tisanes. It's rich and ripe fruit flavours, and soooo tasty. And can confirm, it's just as delicious cold-steeped as it is hot! Steeped 6 min @ 200º.

This is a great sweet and tangy berry flavored tisane. Enjoyed mine cold brewed.

10 oz, 10 mins @ 212* F, divided. Sweetener in both.

Hot
I generally prefer cream in my hot tea but am foregoing It due to the high hibiscus content. It has a nice berry flavor w/o being cloying. I imagine I'm going to enjoy this more when cold.

Cold
Definitely better cold. Not as good as berry blues in my opinion, but still quite good.

A fruity, tangy, berry tea bursting with flavor. Likely good iced as well.

I would love to taste this without the hibiscus as the berry flavor for me is a very faint aftertaste thoroughly overwhelmed by the tartness of the hibiscus.

Plenty of raspberry and blackberry taste, slightly medicinal. Not bad but Adagio has so many better herbal teas.

In the bag: As a first for me, my packet had a big glob of dried fruits stuck together, probably cranberries and blueberries. Besides that, plenty of rose hips and hibiscus.

On the nose (pre-steep): Soft, sweet berries are the main flavor. I can pick rose and blueberry out of the bunch. As with most sugary smells, this one delivers a cloying nose feel.

On the nose (post-steep): Hibiscus has taken over the scent. The sugary accent has been replaced with a tart undercurrent.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Blueberry and hibiscus hold center stage. A moderate tart taste.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Blueberry is a little louder. Sweetness has offset the sour note just a smidge.

Opinion: An okay blend. I'm not a member of team tart, so sour flavors just aren't my jam.

Preparation: First steep 5 min, second steep 6
10 min. Both @ 212 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

UPDATED from 6/21/21: I have this on hand ALWAYS. There is a strong aroma of fruit as the CommuniTEA opens. This steeps into the boldest scarlet red! Bold is the color and Bold is the flavor. It is delicious to cold steep overnight in the refrigerator for ice tea all summer long. Wonderfully refreshing - adding a little sweetener is good, too!

Wow this has a great, strong taste! The cranberries give it that tartness that tickles the tongue. The rest of the berries smooth everything out at the end. Delicious! A former reviewer mentioned adding a slice of orange, so I did: just makes it all the more refreshing. All this flavor and NO caffeine?! Wow! A new favorite. (10 mins @ 212˚)

Love this for summer iced tea! I got a bunch of fruit teas to try and this was my stepdad’s favorite. Wonderful mixed berry flavor; I think the strongest one is blackberry but there are definitely others in there! Will be ordering a big bag.
Brewing: I used 2 heaping Tbsp tea and 1 Tbsp sugar in a 50oz iced tea pitcher, filled it halfway with boiling water, let it sit for at least 30 minutes, then filled it the rest of the way with room temperature filtered water. Let it cool a bit and put it in the fridge overnight. Delicious tea in the morning!

Admittedly, I'm NOT much a berry person when it comes to teas. The ONLY fruit teas I really, really like are peach and pear teas and those are not berry flavored obviously.

I have to give Adagio Teas credit for always including bonus gifts whenever I place an order. In this case, they included a Berry Blast sample pack. It sat in my pantry for many months and then I finally wanted to have a cup of tea that was different than the variety I already have, so I said 'Let me finally try this Berry Blast'.

WOW! A very strong blend of different berries that makes for a really, really great tea. I was impressed especially since I'm not a 'berry dude'. I was so impressed that I ordered a 3 ounce bag so when I'm feelin' like a berry, I have a 'go to' tea.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED if you like a variety of berries without caffeine as a bonus.

I took a leap of faith with this tea. I’m very glad that I did because it tastes so good. It’s bitter when it first touches your tongue but then the flavor of all the berries hits the rest of your mouth. It tastes good, smells like berry gummy bears , and is worth your time. Would highly recommend.
