This is an interesting herbal tea. The nutty flavor does come out, but it’s fighting with the tang from the hibiscus and rose hips. I used maple syrup as the sweetener 😋
Pink and nutty! Always Nuts is a pretty pink herbal infusion with yummy nutty notes, a hint of sweet cinnamon, and a touch of creaminess.

Daughter loves this one, and I found it to be a smooth tasting, slightly nutty, slightly sweet tea.
First tasted this during the Advent tea calendar that I got for my friend in Wisconsin and me. Each day we had a 'tea-mail' on what we thought of each day. This was a winner hands down!!! Love it!!!
This is a perfect dupe for David's Forever Nuts. Tastes like Christmas in a cup. You may hear me mutter 'this is what I am talking about' after every sip.
So far this is my favorite loose-leaf tea I have tried. To me, it kind of reminds me of cinnamon toast crunch cereal with no guilt of drinking it. Will be buying a lot more!!!
This is a tasty herbal blend with some surprise ingredients. It doesn't really taste like hibiscus is in it, but it's is a combination.
The smell of this tea was a delicious cinnamon-y, nutty, creamy scent when I opened the packet and continued as the tea brewed. The taste continued that, along with a touch of the apples and hibiscus. The tea brewed to a fun bright pink color (which seemed at odds with the smell). Definitely enjoyed the tea overall. Brewed for 10 min @ 212 with 1 packet of Splenda.
This was absolutely wonderful. It had a hint of the hibiscus tartness mingled with the cinnamon spice. Honestly, I loved the combination of flavors.
I got this with the CommuniTEA, and I wasn't expecting much from it, but I was really surprised by how much I liked it! It's a very strong fruit and nut flavor that manages to be powerful without being overwhelming. The flavors work together beautifully (at the beginning of the sip I get the nutty flavor, then the fruit emerges in the aftertaste.) Recommended!
Scrumptious. Very enticing fragrance. The taste is sweet and nutty with just a hint of apple and spice. This would be a great mid-morning or brunch tea!
The smell is amazing. For taste though, it is not a favorite on it’s own. The flavor I get doesn’t mix perfectly with the hibiscus base. I do like mixing this into other teas to tone the sour, while achieving the flavor I like from it.
Not bad, a warm, sweet tea that would be perfect for breakfast or when you're craving waffles.
An interesting blend of flavors. It has the advantage of being caffeine free.
Dec ‘24- I’ve gone off it.
this was VERY delicious. I really loved it; an herbal I would consider ordering.
(Ok I did order it and now I am finding it kind of overly fragrant and artificial but I still appreciate the nutty dessert experience)
CommuniTea sample, 5 min @ 212 F. It’s got a complex but sweet aroma, a mix of the toasted almond and crème brulee flavorings coming through most. Interestingly, the taste is a lot more tart. It’s got that fruity hibiscus flavor coming through, a bit of creaminess to the mouthfeel, and a bit of sweet cinnamon aftertaste.
This had a little too much maple flavor for a tea I would buy all the time, but I liked trying it.
Hmm, I thought I would like this tea, but it’s not for me. There are some weird undertones to it that I can’t place and just didn’t enjoy it.
To my palate, the hibiscus is a poor addition. It adds too much acidity and completely overwhelms and covers the creamy, rich notes that the nuts are trying SO hard to contribute. Disappointment, thy name is 'Always Nuts.'
This is amazing! Smells like a cinnamon roll when you're heating it up! It definitely has a nutty flavor. It's one of my top favorites!
A light, sweet nutty tea. The hibiscus and rose are light notes, great for if you're not a fan of either! I will definitely be ordering more.
I'm nuts about this tea, lol. Nutty and sweet just as described, this makes the perfect comforting cup of tea on a fall day.
I thought it would be really nutty, but it’s much more fruity than nutty. Not what I was expecting. Mocha nut mate is a much better nutty tea than this one, but I will finish the sampler.
This paired well with banana nut and the vanilla roobios teas. I have not had it on its own. I used it more as a flavor booster.
A very yummy combination of fruity, chocolate, and sweetness. Perfect after dinner tea.
Another new flavor that I enjoyed very much! It has the right amount of nuttiness to complement the fruit elements.
This is great caffeine free treat- fruity, pretty strong flavored, and a super pretty pink color as a bonus. I like adding chamomile into the mix when I have it as a bedtime tea.
Lovely, comforting flavor. No sugar or cream needed. One of my new favorites.
I had a sample of this and after trying it I immediately bought a bag. It’s great for a very flavorful nighttime cup of tea.
a nutty light tea that goes great with sugar and cream or alone. Has a nice fragrance and looks great in the teakettle.
This is a new favorite! It reminds me of autumn mist green but with a slight taste of almond. So I basically use it as the decaf version of AMG.
this one was not my fav9eite. wayyy too much cinnamon innmy opinion. and 8 couldnt taste the other flavors
It's very fruity with a touch of pecan flavor. It's not really what I was hoping for, thought it would be nuttier. It's not for me, but maybe you will like it.
This is a chunky blend that makes me feel like I'm going to be eating something delicious! It has a fruity flavor without being too sour. It smells amazing!
This can be drunk with sugar or not, and it works!
I do rather like this blend, although I do not think that it is fair to compare it to its DAVIDsTea counterpart. This is a different kind of spicy that remind me of mulled wine, not apple pie. Still yumy though.
A lovely blend, beautiful color, the hibiscus and apple make it! The 'natural flavor' is a bit heavy, that is personal preference. However, a very flavorful tea for better or worse, it was enjoyable for the whole sample pack. Without so much 'natural flavor' I would probably buy again for every other positive it has.
I'm not a fan of cinnamon but this one is really good it has a lovely pink liquor too! perfect for cold days
This was not a good tea. I tried to do it cold. Bad. I did it hot. Weird and bad. The smell was off putting. Whether it was in the bag or in the steeper.
Always Nut is a very busy tea. I feel the tart flavor of rose hips and hibiscus paired with spicy cinnamon distracts from a blissful cup of delicious and smooth caramel like creme brulee tea with a wonderful chocolate almond finish. Would have loved this blend if the flavors had melded seamlessly.
My CT packet had 3 grams of very aromatic tea. The heavenly creme brulee scent was hard to resist. All ingredients were there and I brewed 10 oz. at 212*F for 8 minutes to allow the cocoa nibs to impart a nice chocolate flavor. The resulting pale rose liquor was slightly cloudy and had a mellower scent than the dry tea. Upon first sip, the flavors had their order of appearance. First the tart flavors came through with a bit of spice followed closely by the caramel/butterscotch taste of creme brulee with the toasted almond chocolate flavor coming in last. I enjoyed the flavor combination of creme brulee and nutty chocolate but the tart and spicy flavors seemed to be out of place with the more dessert like taste of the brulee and chocolate. I tried adding agave to sweeten to see if that would change my mind about the blend but it didn't. I was glad to have tried this tea again through CT. It's always helpful to brew another cup to see if your tastes have changed. It didn't for me today but I'm glad this tea has its fans.
I absolutely love this one. It reminds me a lot of other great nutty teas from DT and Teavana.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. The hibiscus is what scared me, but the almond and apple took over and made a delicious cup.
This tea is very good. I was expecting to see more nuts in the packet. So much fruit. I like sweet and fruity teas and this hit the spot.
took 1 sip and knew this wasnt the cup for me, no way no how.
A lovely smooth nutty cup of tea with hints of fruitiness. Beautiful amber color. I enjoyed the hibiscus notes. . I steeped 4 min. I drank without sweetener today. Enjoyed.
It is quite nutty to me...right up my alley. A touch of fruitiness which just rounded out a nice cup of tea!
Fascinating. I didn't taste the fruit or tartness others mention. (Perhaps there was less hibiscus in my sample?) The color in my cup is a light caramel and the dry tea and brew were quite consistent: a delicious almondy caramel flavor with a light hit of cinnamon. It reminds me of a dessert from childhood that I can't put my finger on. Someone else said French toast, and yes, I'd say French toast with maple syrup is a good comparison. Definitely a dessert tea! 5 min at 212°F.
Not gonna lie, I had no idea what to expect when I read the ingredient list. Scent was dessert-like and nutty, once brewed a bit more syrupy, and color wasn’t quite tan. flavor is really interesting, like a candy bar in a cup without the sugar. I quite liked how different this is!
Why is this so sour? The toasty nuttiness is overpowered by hibiscus.
What a delightful blend of flavors today. I enjoyed this.
I had this before and was surprised that I wasn't bombarded with hibiscus tartness. The almond flavor is great. I'm going to take a chance and order some and keep my fingers crossed that it won't be loaded with hibiscus and undrinkable for me.
