Throughout my CommuniTea experience, I've come to find out how much I prefer vanilla to chocolate, when it comes to tea. Vanilla Green is mellow, sweet and calming.
China green tea with pure vanilla. Smooth and cozy, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh vanilla beans.

The aroma of this one was a very strange vanilla scent, not bakery, but not alcohol vanilla either. I expected not to like it based on the scent but the flavor is thankfully more mild than that. It has a strange flavor, unlike any other vanillas that I’ve had. I barely taste the green tea underneath, and the vanilla that I do taste isn’t my favorite. I expected this to be much sweeter based on the description. 2.5 mins at 175°F
Drinking this with the CommuniTea. I am just not a big fan of vanilla flavoring on it's own. So while the tea is enjoyable enough it's not something I would drink on regular basis. I do think fans of vanilla would quite like it though.
I didn’t find the Vanilla came through for me, it mostly tastes like green tea. Not bad, but not something I will order.
Green tea isn't usually my first choice, but this vanilla is delicate and delicious. A very enjoyable cup of tea.
I was surprised by how good this tea is. The vanilla flavor is rich and warm. I really like the 'grassy' flavor of green tea and the vanilla masks that, but in a way that really works. It's smooth and comforting with just the right amount of caffeine for an afternoon lift.
The vanilla seems to just sit over the tea, for me it tastes like an inferior additive.
Mmmm! I liked this. I could really taste the vanilla. It melds nicely with the green tea. I steeped for 2 minutes.
Quite a pleasant little green! The vanilla (for me) was subtle and almost a background note, but the taste overall was peaceful and lightly floral.
For the most part I love Adagio's flavored green teas; the green they use in their flavored teas is just perfect, not too grassy, and does so well with different flavors. The vanilla is no exception; it reminds me of a vanilla dessert.
Some low key sweetness from the vanilla flavoring. Pretty good balanced against the green tea, it has a bit of that collard greens flavor, but I did oversteep it a bit.
Vanilla and green tea just doesn't work for me. I feel like the vanilla covers the taste of the green tea too much. If I'm drinking green tea, I want to taste it!
As soon as you open the bag the amazing vanilla smell is released, right off the bat you know this is going to be a good tea. Not usually a huge fan of green teas, but this was amazing. Has an almost creamy vanilla flavor that is very smooth. This will be added into my regular tea rotation.
Tastes like vegetables, no vanilla taste.
I have enjoyed several adagio green teas now, but this tastes like all the green teas that made dislike green tea.
I was sceptical about this tea. I like green tea, but typically paired with fruity flavors. The vanilla was a nice combination with the green tea.
Vanilla and green tea is a surprisingly good combination. Smooth and mellow, a good tea for any time of day. No sweetener necessary.
Interesting vanilla tea. Does not taste much like green tea tho. Good flavored tea overall
Very nice green tea with some vanilla flavouring. Nice taste but not a keeper for me.
This is the first green tea I've tried which didn't taste like I was drinking liquid grass. I could actually taste the vanilla in this one. It's a little on the artificial side for my taste but still, light and pleasant.
Vanilla and green tea are a match made in heaven. It absolutely reminds me of sugar cookies, and is such a warm and comforting flavor.
This has a nice warm flavor to it. It totally removes the grassy notes. I would buy this one again.
Update: I have become very addicted to this! The flavors marry each other perfectly! Vanilla is one of my favorite things and I love a great green tea too. Thumbs up!
A fantastic fall/winter tea. The green tea keeps the flavor light and clean while the vanilla adds some welcome comforting warmth. Neither flavor is overwhelmed - and, as another point in it's favor, I feel no need to add any sweetener or cream to the cup.
Nice light green tea with a hint of vanilla. Delicious
I'm not usually a big green tea fan...I prefer the more bold flavors. But...this vanilla green tea is really good! Light, sweet, pleasant aroma of vanilla...the vanilla flavor is subtle, not overpowering. Very nice cup of tea!
This is a really lovely, simple green tea. I like it a lot.
Super yummy and smooth green tea, with a marsh mellow aftertaste. My mom and I are both fans of this tea! Although the marshmallow taste goes away with a second steeping.
The warm sweetness of vanilla paired with a clean green tea is a very good match, in my book.
First time to try vanilla green tea & I really liked it! The vanilla flavor was the star of the show.
I love vanilla and I love green tea and while this tea was good...I was expecting more vanilla kick to it.
This is my 'what a beautiful day Tea'. A bewitching combination .
Rich vanilla notes with a shuttle hint of Green Tea.
Really enjoyed this tea, however I would like the vanilla to be a bit stronger... Still a very nice tea!
The smell and taste is honestly too strong for me, and I prefer plain green tea. It may be great for people who like flavored teas though.
The light vanilla flavor of this green tea makes for a smooth, not bitter, enjoyable cup.
Really enjoyed the flavor of this tea. If you love vanilla, you will definitely like the vanilla green. One of my favorite green teas.
This tastes just like Starbucks matcha 😋 which is my favorite so this is a good cheap low cal alternative 🖤
Good but the taste is too light for my liking! still good on summer mornings
Smooth and light. I enjoyed this one with honey for an afternoon treat.
Lovely vanilla aroma and flavor without overpowering the green tea itself. Definitely one of my favorites.
I really loved this green tea. The vanilla flavor is subtle, and doesn't hide the flavor of the tea
I love all things vanilla flavored, but on that same note, I can be pretty picky about my vanilla products. This tea strikes that perfect balance and has a classic vanilla taste without being too much or coming off as fake. I highly recommend!
Really smooth, the vanilla blends with the green tea seamlessly
This was an overall good green tea with just the right amount of vanilla flavor. Might be good iced, too.
Delicious and amazing tea which I enjoyed. Highly recommend it!
Not a huge fan of this one. The vanilla tastes very artificial.
Great flavor, the vanilla isn't over powering and works well with the green tea. Definitely adding this to my next order
Tried this one on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Great balance of flavors. Plan on keeping this one in my usual rotation.
It is exactly what it says on the tin, and that's exactly what I wanted this to be. Very vanilla-bean-y, not artificial. Treat yourself!
Adagio goes a little heavy on the vanilla. It can kind of drown the delicate green tea. Adding this to a little green tea really mellowes out the flavor and it's a good addition to make blends
extremely satisfying as a iced tea, DEFINITELY have on a hot, summer day. it will very much energies you!
Was ok but I didn't feel like the Vanilla blended well with the Green tea flavors
