Our local shop sells 4 grades of Biluochun - from A to D. The A grade is obviously a high grade, and has become my favorite tea. This is equal to their B grade. It is still pretty good, just not quite as tippy or complex as a high-grade.
Not the best I've had -- a little muted in aroma and flavor -- but still a good example of this style. Plenty of white tips in the leaves.

Perfect every-day green tea. It's very easy to drink and tastes delicious mixed with other teas such as Jasmine or peppermint. I don't care for it iced, the green pejoe is my favorite for that.

An almost smokey taste and a brew that tends towards yellow. It's a good flavor but finicky. I brewed it for too long almost every time.

I finally got a little flavor out of the last cup I brewed from my sample. It's a very beautiful tea, both dry and after brewing. Lovely extremely pale gold/green. It's described as delicate. I'd say delicate is too strong a word. It was like drinking hot water.
I really enjoy this tea, which I didn't expect to from looking at the leaves, which resemble a white tea (I don't care for white tea). It's not what I consider a traditional-tasting green tea, though.
Enjoyed this tea when part of a sample, but found it to be mediocre when I received a larger tin. Not sure what happened to make a tea go from delicate to bitter?
This is my favorite green tea. It is very light, with no strong 'grassy' taste. The perfect afternoon tea!

This was pretty good. It reminded me of the white monkey although when it comes to middle-f-the-road green teas I prefer the Green Anji.

The Pi Lo Chun sample tasted old. I had bought this for a friend and was very dissapointed!
Don't care for PiLo by itself, but mixing it 50/50 with Rooibos Peach is definitely a winner. Great smooth peach flavor with a hint of PiLo. Fabulous aroma.
