This was a surprise! The aroma and taste are reminiscent of lemon squares! A lovely midday tea that needs nothing added.

★★★★★

This tea is lovely and fresh. A lemony treat in a cup. I add milk and sugar for a more indulgent experience.

Smells like my mother’s lemon meringue pie- I can not believe it. Makes me wonder about artificial flavors which I don’t care to be drinking, but it’s a wonderful cozy aroma.

★★★★★

I love the lemony tang of this. I don't use sugar or milk in any tea, but it would taste like lemon pie with a little sweetener. I waiting for it to be available since I love it almost as much as Earl Grey Moonlight! I still love this both fragrance and taste! I want to be able to get it ALL YEAR! Again, please make it all year long!!

Delightful! Amazing iced, delicious hot. This is one of my new all time favorites, so light, sweet and refreshing. The cream/ vanilla and the lemon are both equally strong so you really do get that lemon meringue pie essence.

Feels like spring in a cup! The lemon is not tart, and the tea is very comforting and mellow. Definitely a seasonal favorite!

★★★★☆

Very good tea. But it didn't "wow" me. The flavor is fitting of it's name - sweet and lemony, but not overwhelmingly so.

Smooth mellow tea brought out by the vanilla. The lemon brightens it up just hint and is wonderful in the mornings.

Boy, I don't want to run out of this one! (And sometimes it isn't available). It's one of my personal favorites. Yes, I love anything lemon and it smells heavenly and the taste won't disappoint. I use a large tsp. and 1 1/2 cups water. I then brew a second time with about 3/4 cup water cause I don't want to lose any of the favor. Second cup I often brew a little longer.

At first I really didn’t like this at it had a strange pine-y taste to me, but on the advice of the CT community, I doubled the amount of tea, which really helped decrease thaw pine-y taste and bring out more lemon. I would not buy again but would try in a blend.

Very light and refreshing! I really enjoy this one it has the perfect bit of zest and just the right amount of caffeine

This is my favorite green tea. I like green, but usually prefer black teas. However, this one is so delicious! It tastes very lemony and refreshing.

I am delighted that this tea is available again! I've missed it during the winter when my supply from last year ran out.

Lemon meringue green is like early spring in a cup: gentle green tea brightened with a mild pop of lemon flavor. The smell from the bag is incredible!

Once brewed, there's a mellow, creamy roundness to the flavor that reminds me of light & fluffy meringue--just enough to be the right level of sweet without adding any sweeteners.

I’ve been waiting impatiently for this fav tea of mine to become available. For anyone who enjoys a citrus forward tea, well blended with cream, this will be a hit. I must be sure to keep this stocked while it’s in season. It’s completely divine!

Very good, but not a favorite. I think I love the lavender lemon too much and this one didn’t hit quite the same. Still tasty and would order again.

This really DOES taste like lemon meringue! Joy for one's tastebuds! Just don't oversteep it or it becomes bitter (as green teas are wont to do)

I'm not sure that this is my favorite green tea, but it is pretty good, with a pleasant lemon flavor. I had hoped it would be a little stronger of a 'lemon meringue' taste but it's still good.

This tastes so good . I didn't even sweeten it and it was very enjoyable. You can taste the lemon and vanilla flavors. Im definitely ordering this one again

One of my absolute favorites, a perfect blend of citrus and cream that is really super duper evocative.

I am updating my review because, as it turns out, you actually have a 50/50 shot of getting a great blend or one that is completely flavorless.
I originally ordered a sample and was severely disappointed as it had no flavor. Maybe a month later, my individual communiTEA packet was absolutely wonderful when I cold brewed it, I wanted more! So I once again tried to brew from my sample: nothing, very clear and straight up water when hot or cold brewed.
I tried to contact adagio as this was clearly a bad batch, but their response was like they didn’t even read my email. Simply “sorry you didn’t like our tea, buy something else and try again!” and then they ignored my response stating they misread my email - I didn’t dislike it, I wanted my sample to taste like the wonderful individual pack I tried! I’m very disappointed in the response to my problem.

This is a really fun, different, surprising tea. It has beautiful aromas of dessert, and the taste subtly matches it. I'm curious to try it with a bit more sugar crystals and maybe a squeeze of lemon. But as is it is so bright and impactful, I'm impressed!

This one got an extra star from me as I generally do not like lemon in tea and I found this one super tasty. When opening the CT pack I actually was hit with more 'key lime pie' scent than lemon, but both similar citrus so that is not too wild. When I think of lemon in tea I think of black base teas and the awful bottled stuff in gas stations and fountain machines. This tea was such a beautifully blended lemon masterpiece with a gentle green base. I also cannot neglect the smooth texture of this tea as I did not add anything to my cup and it was still sweet on its own and actually very creamy and smooth. I hope it holds up to at least one more steep as I drank my first cup unexpectedly fast. 180° 3 min

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 180 F. I am impressed by how much this smells like lemon meringue! Not just like lemons, but lemon meringue! When I sip it, I first noticed the Meyer lemon flavor, which is a little bit strong and reminds me a little bit of cleaning products, but then I get the sweetness from the vanilla and crème, and then I get green tea. It's all very mellow, a little sweet, a little tart, and reminds me of a mix of lemonade and a light green tea. It has a very clean mouth feel, and in many ways, I really appreciate the Meyer lemon flavoring for that!

Really nice for a flavored tea. I was worried that the creme flavor would clash with green tea, but it's fairly mellow under the lemon, and both flavors work well with the green tea base. Tastes a bit like a mellow lemon sorbet, or a creamsicle if it were lemon rather than orange.

Still loving this tea! It’s a personal favorite. Just want to add that it really does give lemon meringue pie vibes, including the creaminess of the meringue. So good!

2021:

Awesome tea for lemon lovers! Enjoyed this tea straight up with no additives and it was a perfect post-lunch delight!

This is a very good tea. It's light, refreshing, blended well - 'clean' - and easy drinking. While I can acknowledge it is a great tea, I have to knock it down 1 star simply due to personal preference - and that's only because the lemon nose is strong enough to make me think of lemon PineSol, and the lingering lemon on the tongue hangs out just a bit TOO long for me, almost becoming sour. Very interesting. As others have said, might be worth trying cold - so I'll add some to my bag for next time I order and we'll see how it holds up iced in the hot South Carolina summer sun.

2025: I mean it really tastes specifically like the pie and not like green tea but the green keeps it from
Being too sweet. I loved it. Steeped as instructed and added a tiny bit of sweetener

The smell is sooo delicious
I understeeped it i think - more water than I usually use because made it in thermos and i didn’t want much caffeine for evening - so flavor is very mild but I can tell would be delicious

The smell of this is fantastically citrusy. The taste to me, unfortunately, does not translate as well. There is an underlying vanilla taste that isn't bad, but wasn't what I was specifically looking for.
