I've bee a big fan of jasmine tea for a while, but never experienced anything outside of grocery store shelves. Needless to say, this is extraordinary. I have noted, however, that it brews a weak cup at the recommended 1t tea/8oz water.
First, I will say I am in no way partial to Jasmine teas...the light, delicate flavor is a perfect addition to watching the sunset. The flavor/smell is intenst but in no way overwhelming. While I am still a Dragon Phoenix Pearl fan, this is an excellent tea to be added to any cupboard.
Very tasty and I find worth the extra $$ over the #5. Just bought my first non-sample size from adagio and this was the choice.
This was a pleasant, but somewhat overwhelmingly perfumed tea. It was a bit more subtle than the #5, but I still enjoyed it with some added oolong tea.
I personally like this jasmine tea over Jasmine #12. It has found a spot in my tea rotataion of green and white teas.
Not my favorite, but maybe because I steeped it for as long as the directions. I think if you steep it for a shorter period you'll get a better taste.
This smelled like perfume or flowers and I thought for sure I was going to hate it but it doesn't taste at all like the smell. It's a really nice relaxing tea.
The Jasmine #12 was a little bit better, but for the price this one wins.

Heavily perfumed jasmine scent but extremely light subtle taste almost like a white tea. I can see why it's ceremonial, the scent mimicks incense...light airy. The tea is nice but I don't find it satisfying as I do #5 or #12, which has a little more weight to comfort me.
Makes a wonderful iced tea, be sure not to brew too long.
This is my second favorite jasmine tea. It seems a little more floral than jasmine #12 but still tastes great.

This is one that I make sure I never run out of. The taste is great (don't oversteep though - gets bitter) but the scent is heavenly! I am addicted! I drink this hot and iced.
Definitely the best of the affordable jasmines. It really stacks up to more expensive ones, and has a wonderful delicate flavor.

The flowery taste was more than I was expecting, but that's my own fault, I suppose. It's really not a bad tea at all, and I'll certainly be making it again-- it's just too flowery and astringent to be my daily cup of choice.

I have tried both the Jasmine #5 and #9 and like some other reviewers I actually prefer the #5. It has a more flowery aroma and flavor, without overdoing it.
The jasmine taste overwhelms this tea and smells like perfume. Had 1 cup of it and that was enough for me.

I really enjoy this tea. It is less expensive than the jasmine pearls but the flavor is just as sweet, and has a wonderful fragrance.
Brewed 1½ teaspoons 3 minutes at 180°. Liquor nice amber color. Both the scent and the flavor are lighter than the Jasmine #5. The jasmine taste is purer and not as cloying as the #5. Slight acidic/astringent note. Brewing it for 2½ minutes results in a strong, clear jasmine taste, still with some astringency, but all from the tea. And you know what? I don't like a clear jasmine taste. When the tea is allowed to grow cold it tastes better, but I don't think I'd want it as a straight iced tea. It's also too astringent for my taste - an hour after finishing the last cup my mouth still feels dry and puckery. I think this one will have to be mixed with some other tea to taste best.
The jasmine is quite strong. A little too perfumey for my taste.

If you like jasmine, you will like this tea. If brewed correctly, it has a light and delicate taste. The balance of jasmine and tea is exceptional, and this tea is great after large meals, or anytime in the evening.
