Jasmine Yin Hao Customer Reviews

A deeply floral Yin Hao ('Silver Tip') grade jasmine from Fujian, China. Very layered fragrance, soft yet full-bodied with a sweet, slight dryness in the finish. Infused with jasmine many times over to create a truly unforgettable cup.

I normally wet my body and sprinkle this on my neck before I head out for a date. I smell like a gem and I can taste the future.

Just don't let it steep too long or it will be terribly bitter! This tea is quite good. I would buy it again.

★★☆☆☆

The tea smelled good, but the aftertaste was very unpleasant, kind of like mold or something rotting. It was faint but still there... I don't know if it's just me.

★★★★☆

I tried this tea for the first time over Christmas. The floral notes were not too strong, but I actually prefer a stronger jasmine tea.

★★★★★

I love the jasmine flavor and scent of this tea! Great for green tea lovers.

★★★☆☆

Great refreshing jasmine flavor, exactly what I needed!

★★★★★

This is definitely a new favorite of mine! I decided to try a Jasmine tea and I love it! I love the after taste, sorta tastes like bubblegum to me. I will definitely be buying this from now on

★★★★☆

I bought this because I wanted to try green tea. The smell is wonderful, smelling extremely flowery. My mother didn't care for it but my brother and I loved it. Using a little bit of agave nectar took the dryness out of it and really made the smell 'blossom'. It's also pretty good the morning after a few too many drinks.

★★★★☆

Nice, smooth tea with little bitterness. Doesn't stand out enough for me to want to order it specifically, but it's still a good tea.

★★★★☆

I love jasmine, this simply quenches the craving I get when I want a nice jasmine tea

★★★★★

By far my favorite favored tea, usually preferring straight green tea. Not an over powering jasmine that is a good every day tea.

Lovely floral scent translates into an amazing taste sensation. Slightly vegetal with a light grassiness that is in no way off putting blends so well with the wonderful taste of the jasmine that this tea is soothing and relaxing in a way that a caffeinated tea rarely is. Drinking a cup right before bed is not something I feel I need to worry about keeping me awake.

★★★★☆

There is a significant jasmine flavor to this tea. It may just be the strongest jasmine-tasting green tea I have tried.

★★★★★

I really like this tea. It's not as good as the jasmine phoenix pearls, but I think it's worth the price.

★★★★☆

A solid jasmine tea. Go heavy on the leaves, just under boiling, and stop as soon as it turns gold.

★★★★★

By far one of my favorite green teas. Sweet bold jasmine flavor with a mild astringency in the end. I get a few steepings from each batch.

★★★★☆

fragrant and not too fruity - second infusion produces less jasmine. Having a cup now~

★★★★★

I love my jasmine tea, but lately everything I have been drinking has been more tea, less jasmine. This tea is perfect for the jasmine tea lover, fragrant and light on the palate.

★★★★★

Really enjoy this jasmine tea. Smells divine--the jasmine is wonderfully balanced in this tea--just right, not too overpowering. One of my favorite jasmine teas.

I really enjoyed this tea and would order it again and again.

★★★★★

Smooth, floral, without a hint of astringency. Relaxing on a rainy winter day.

A freaking fantastic jasmine tea. I am a big fan of this tea and there isn't a thing about it that I dislike.

:) Light and a smooth finish, this jasmine yin hao is delish. It compliments breakfast and a light lunch well. I find myself drinking this pretty consistently.

I fell in love with Yin Hao Jasmine tea over Thanksgiving, when I had it at my friend's house, and this did not disappoint. The jasmine is light and full, and nicely complements the tea.

Very mellow and fragrant, this the best jasmine tea I have tried yet

Despite detesting the less refined and overly pungent Jasmine Chun Hao, I'm quite fond of this tea. The jasmine scent is perfectly balanced, sweetly floral with a slight background of teaness and a lovely powdery-floral finish. It's not complex, tasting like not much more than the jasmine, but it's no less enjoyable for that.

I loved this tea, it was wonderful. So far the best jasmine green I've had. An amazing experience. Very refreshing, too. I had it with my husband and he asked me if there was powdered coke in it :P

★★★☆☆

Not my favorite as I'm not a huge fan of green tea but my husband said it was okay.

★★★★★

So lovely and clean. This tea is simply classic. Lovely with meals or cold all alone. This will be a staple in my tea cabinet.

★★★☆☆

I love the whole concept of a jasmine tea. I just can't get past the smell. to my nose it is simply too cloying. I would like to like it, but . . .

★★★★★

I love drinking this tea in the afternoon. The pleasant aroma helps me forget that I have several hours of work remaining.

★★★★★

Personally, I adore both the Chun Hao and the Yin Hao. The Yin Hao is the more strongly jasmine-scented of the two. Some people complain about the 'soapy' aroma, but personally, I find the strength of the jasmine to be charming and delightful. I like to sweeten lightly, and enjoy the total jasmine experience.

★★★★★

I really like to mix this heavenly jasmine tea in with my other green and oolong teas. A little bit goes a long way so go easy at first if you are new to or leary of jasmine teas. The fragrance is strong but lovely and intoxicating and adds a touch of elegance to any sipping experience.

Try this tea with the Fujian Rain. A few jasmine pearls scattered in with this mineral-tasting oolong is absolutely wonderful and elegant any time of year, hot or iced. I read that this jasmine is also from the Fujian Provence, and it naturally blends seamlessly the very fresh tasting and rainwater-esque Fujian rain.

★★★★★

This was my time trying jasmine tea, and it has a really interesting taste. I can't think of anything I could compare it to. I don't normally like green teas very much, but this one seemed to be missing the sort of seaweed taste that other green teas I've tried, and I am very glad for that absence.

★★★☆☆

I'm going to say ok on this. I'm not a good judge as teas with flowers or flower like tastes tend to give me a headache and therefor prejudice my opinion. It was a free sample to try, I didn't order it.

★★★★★

I never thought I would enjoy jasmine tea as much as I did. Waiting for more to arrive.

★★★★★

I am a fan of Jasmine teas and this one is delicate and very natural in taste. A little goes a long way, too. It is most certainly more flavorful if you steep it at 165.

★★★★☆

Floral and sweet as is expected. it is a little more light on the tea taste than I had expected.

★★★★★

This is it. This is the tea that converted me to jasmine. I only kind of, almost liked it before. Maybe it's because I drank this tea neat, which is rare. Normally I take my tea with a bit of amber sugar. Or maybe this tea isn't overly perfumey. Whatever the reason, this is my new go-to jasmine tea. Kudos, Adagio, this tea is incredible.

I ordered this for my roommate's Christmas gift, since she loves jasmine tea. She let me have a sip and let me just say: wow! I have never tried jasmine tea before, but consider me converted. The smell reminded me of the jasmine in the front yard of my childhood home, so it was instant nostalgia. The taste was sweet and floral, with no bitterness. It's got a smooth finish with none of the dryness I've encountered in floral teas before. I will definitely order this again (but this time maybe for myself...).

★★★★★

Wonderful. very strong jasmine flavor that lasts multiple steeps. Reminds me of spring.

★★★★★

I have a feeling I just found my new go-to green tea. I got this as a free sample, but I will DEFINITELY be placing an order for a larger bag in the very near future. Perfectly steeped at about 2.5 minutes, it's very light and perfect with a small amount of honey.

★★★★☆

has a fabulous sent and taste. great on second and third steeping though it can be dry

★★★★★

This tea has an incredibly potent jasmine note, and a delicate flavor that does not distract from the floral note. As always, the first steeping is perfect, with a smooth finish. If you re-use the leaves for a second or third or fourth pot (yep, that was me!), there will be a more astringent finish. Definitely recommended for fans of jasmine tea.

★★★★★

Wow! Exquisite green tea that just bursts with jasmine (one of my favorite flowers and teas)! The aroma is drop-dead gorgeous, and the dry mouthfeel is great too. One of my new favorite jasmines.

I may have been spoiled by the jasmine phoenix pearls. I don't find the taste or smell of this tea nearly as enjoyable. I will take it as a temporary replacement until my favorite jasmine is back in stock.

★★★★★

I don't normally like my green teas to be anything other than green, but the jasmine is actually a nice touch to this one. I think it's also precisely because of the jasmine that this is a tea I prefer chilled to warm. Steep 3 cups in the morning, chill it throughout the day, and it makes for a very refreshing evening cuppa.

★★★★☆

This is a lovely jasmine tea with a light, refreshing floral quality and sweet aftertaste.

★★★★★

I was grateful to receive this as a free sample from Adagio. Unfortunately I am allergic to jasmine so I passed it on to a friend. A week later the friend came back to thank for for the tea a second time claiming that it was the best jasmine tea that they have every tasted. So from their perspective of one that drinks jasmine tea from time to time it is a really good one.

★★★★★

I love jasmine tea, and this was exactly what I was looking for
