Jasmine Yin Hao Customer Reviews

A deeply floral Yin Hao ('Silver Tip') grade jasmine from Fujian, China. Very layered fragrance, soft yet full-bodied with a sweet, slight dryness in the finish. Infused with jasmine many times over to create a truly unforgettable cup.

★★★★★

Loving this tea. Super light and goes well with honey to add a little sweetness.

★★★★★

I love this tea. The combination of a good green tea and jasmine is a comfort food. This tea definitely fits that description.

When I want to relax this is like aromatherapy in a cup. Amazing how it makes everything else disappear!

★★★★★

Delicious tea, it's my go-to. I have tried many jasmine teas and this is my favorite.

Not bad. The balance between jasmine and green tea could be better. The overwhelming scent of Jasmine is like a burning stick of incense in a small shoppe that reminds me of a trip to Chinatown. Do yourself a favor and go with the Jasmine Chun Hao.

I like this tea but the flavor is not what I expected. I guess I've never had real jasmine tea before because the jasmine flavor is VERY floral, I feel like I'm eating a raw flower. However I don't mind it as much with honey and a lemon slice.

★★★★★

The flavor of this tea is hard to beat. It's smooth, but carries all of the expectation of a green tea. It stays in the rotation.

★★★★☆

This is an excellent lighter green tea. Nothing in particular stands out about it, but it is a reliable go-to.

I really love the jasmine flavor! I drink mine with some almond milk in it.

What an enjoyable cup of tea for a relaxing weekend!!

★★★★★

Very good, has a lot of flavor and is great for the afternoon.

★★★★☆

I really like this. The jasmine hits you as soon as you open the package but its not overpowering, just a pleasant happy smell. The jasmine in flavor is just the right amount to make a very nice mellow cup of tea. I'll definitely order again.

★★★★☆

Not my favorite of the jasmine teas, but still good.

★★★★★

Sweetened with a bit of honey or left on its own, this beautiful floral blend is magnificent.

I searched some time to find the best Jasmine green tea that reminded me of the gentle sweet taste of the tea you sip in the best asian restaurants - this one hits the mark! A wonderful tea to sip at the end of a long day.

★★★★☆

Such a delicious Jasmine tea. I love the scent and the flavor.

★★★★★

I really love how delicate and floral this tea is! If you like a flowery tasting tea this is great for you!

★★★★☆

Delicate, gently sweet. A really nice, drinkable tea.

I have been looking for a tea just like this for years. If you love jasmine anything, Jasmine Yin Hao is the way to go. The jasmine is strong, but not overpowering and you can't beat the price. Plus it's good for at least two steeps. My favorite tea hands down.

★★★☆☆

This smelled wonderful qhen I opened the sample for this. I think this tea was too "full-bodied" for me upon brewing. The bold green tea base overwhelmed the jasmine flavor for me. Looking forward to trying other jasmines and finding something more to my preferences.

★★★★☆

Nice jasmine/floral combination. Worthy of an everyday cup.

★★★★☆

This is my first experience with real jasmine tea. The first cup, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. The flowery aroma and flavor is very strong. As I continued to drink it, it definitely grew on me. I sadly only have one serving left and while I don't know if I will order this one particularly, I will likely get a Jasmine tea sampler to decide which of the Jasmines I want to make a permanent staple of my cupboard. I have 100% decided Jasmine is for me, and this is a really good tea, but there may be better out there, I just don't know

Another wonderful jasmine tea! Good flavor, without being overpowering. Such a refreshing cup of tea.

We actually ordered this tea on accident but are so glad we did! It is a wonderful alternative to jasmine pearls and a new evening favorite.

★★★★★

So far this is my favorite tea! So relaxing...the fragrance is wonderful...very calming. Delicious hot and even good when it cooled off a bit. I’m buying a big bag next!

★★★★★

Wonderful flowery tea... similar in taste to the Jasmine Phoenix Pearls if steeped correctly, at a much lower price

★★★☆☆

I held a blind taste test with my husband (who does not drink tea) to compare all of the jasmine teas adagio sells (compared to a box of Bigelow's teabags from the supermarket) and we thought this one was okay. Not terrible, but not great. My husband didn't like it because it tasted too much like green tea -- he really liked the Jasmine Phoenix Pearls though. Not going to bother with this one again.

★★★★☆

This is a wonderful, good clean tasting cup of tea. The jasmine gives it just the right amount of floral flavor. Very well balanced.

Great scent and mouth-feel. Good for two steepings, in my opinion.

★★★★★

Great green tea. A lot of jasmine. A bit sweet. I use one and a half teaspoons for a kettle

★★★☆☆

Not that smooth, i've tasted better Jasmine Teas, This one is not on my list, Jasmine Chun Hoa is sooooooooooo much better

★★★★☆

Nice jasmine flavor, fairly smooth. My favorite green tea

★★★★★

This has really nice floral notes to it, not in the usual jasmine way though. Less oppressive.

★★★★☆

This is just okay. Not as smoot as the Jasmine Phoenix Pearls

★★★★★

I love all things jasmine and this is a nice fragrant cup. It’s mild, not bitter, and strong on the jasmine so it’s perfect for me

★★★★★

Great tea! This turned me onto jasmine tea. Don't overbrew it, the jasmine can get a little intense then. Maybe this is treason, but i really like to add a half teaspoon of honey and just one small drop of lemon juice to per cup

★★★★★

Very mild flavor. Tastes great. Will reorder for sure.

★★★☆☆

I like a very forward jasmine flavor, and this tea --while nice-- did not deliver the jasmine flavor I was after. But if you like a subtle jasmine flavor, you should try it. The tea flavor was very full-bodied and not grassy or vegetal.

★★★★☆

Floral but not too sweet. Comforting during any cold.

★★★★☆

It's not my favorite Jasmine green tea, but it's up there! (I'm pretty picky with my Jasmine greens)

★★★★★

Another great tea from Adagio. Just the right amount of jasmine flavor.

★★★☆☆

As far as tea goes, it's very nice. It has a very strong floral flavor that I am not very fond of, but I think others might enjoy.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas from Adagio! Very fragrant and is comforting to drink!

★★★★★

I wanted to make sun tea this summer. This isn’t as good for sun tea, but have mixed it with other teas and it adds a good jasmine taste. I will probably use it as hot tea this winter.

★★★★★

Great strong flavor that compares with regular jasmine tea. No notable difference to me in flavor between the two so it comes down to pricing differences.

★★★★★

My all-time favorite tea. I drink it every day. Great for a medium caffeine boost while not overly astringent.

★★★☆☆

I ordered this with a jasmine pearl tea for comparison, and I certainly liked the other one better. For it s own merits, it s flavor is pretty strong, so I suspect I m just not a fan of the rest of the blend.

★★★★★

I ve always been a huge Jasmine tea fan, and this is up at the top of my list. It s a smooth, light Jasmine flavor. Fragrant and soothing. I love every sip of this!

★★★★☆

It has a good flavor, but if it's steeped for over 2 minutes, it turns too bitter. It's still drinkable, though, unlike when I accidentally over-steep Japanese green teas.

★★★★★

A nice step up from the Chun Hao. More floral and less earthy, with a zippy acidity. Pretty gold color too!
