Its a green tea.It had a nice Jasmine flavor as it cooled off the green tea flavor took over.I used one teaspoon of tea.I enjoyed the tea very much.
I got this loose-leaf tea for my boyfriend and he loves it, and he's a very picky tea drinker. He drinks it every morning before teaching, and he shared some with his grandmother, who loved it too. He said it isn't too strong or bitter and after having this loose-leaf, he's never going back to teabags again!
I love everything jasmine, and this tea is no exception. I've been drinking this as my daily staple and it does not disappoint.
I suppose for the price, this was a great tea, but not up to the standard that I'm used to. Jasmine is, by far, my favorite tea, so most days that's the only kind that I have. It just didn't seem to have much flavor. This isn't a bad tea, I've just had better.

A less floral version of jasmine. Still packs a decent jasmine flavor, but is balanced with enough tannin to give that 'biscuity' quality. Also means you have to be careful about not letting the water get too hot or it bitters easily.
This is the best jasmine tea that I've ever had. The floral notes are not too overwhelming which was my main concern. It's a very light tea.
I've tried many jasmine teas from other companies, and this is the first one I've found that isn't overwhelmingly floral. In fact, I strongly suspect that my favorite boba tea shop uses this one as its jasmine base for their milk teas. It has a very particular scent, like sweet candy, possibly even gummi candy underneath. Nicely sweet, relaxing.. awesome tea! Can't wait to try Adagio's other jasmine varieties!
When I opened the sample bag I received, it smelled of fresh jasmine blooms and the smell alone proved to be calming.
The jasmine aroma is strong in this tea, as is the flavor of jasmine. I've read reviews that said the jasmine was too strong, but I find I can still taste the green base so for me it is not overwhelming. Maybe I just like floral teas :)
With a little simple syrup the flavors mellowed and I found myself sinking into the couch and relaxing. Perfect.

The most recent order of $5 jasmine tea is definitely not anywhere near the quality of my past receipts. It has no jsmine scent and no jasmine flavor. Something has definitely gone wrong somewhere. I am sorely tempted to return this order. I don't know what happened since my last order, but it is not good.

This tea is very sensitive, therefore it is easy to overbrew. So make sure to only bring the water to 180 and steep for a max of 4 minutes. Otherwise this tea is lovely and calming.

This tea is AMAZING! Very light, subtle and the aroma is therapeutic. Not as full as jasmine pearls, but this is a cheap alternative. I love variety, and I'll alternate between gunpowder and this for cheap, delicious everyday tea.

I've taken to calling this 'Magic Tea'. I'm not sure what it is--the floral scent, warm liquor, and toasty finish, I guess--but having this tea is really like drinking a cup of magic. An instant favorite.

This tea has a lovely scent. However, unlike the Jasmine Silver Needle, the scent is almost entirely what you get. This isn't bad by any means, but it's mostly just a beautifully perfumed tea with just a smidgeon of flavor.

I got this as a sample at the store. I learned that I don't like jasmine very much after drinking this tea. It's not horrible but the jasmine scent overpowers the green flavor that I love. You might think it's the best thing ever if you're into floral flavors/scents, which I'm not.

My wife and I enjoy jasmine chun hao daily, we prepare it using the TriniTea on hot for three minutes. My wife prefers it prepared with crushed fresh ginger. The jasmine is well balanced with the flavor of the tea.
