Jasmine Chun Hao Customer Reviews

A classic jasmine tea from Fujian, China, infused with the delicate scent of night-blooming jasmine flowers. Sweet perfumy cup, notes of warmed sugar, slightly toasty like a fresh biscuit. Light, refreshing and not overwhelmingly floral.

Few things are as soothing as breathing over a cup of Jasmine green. It's a personal weakness. Might have to be really careful with the temperature on this one

★★★★★

Its a green tea.It had a nice Jasmine flavor as it cooled off the green tea flavor took over.I used one teaspoon of tea.I enjoyed the tea very much.

I got this loose-leaf tea for my boyfriend and he loves it, and he's a very picky tea drinker. He drinks it every morning before teaching, and he shared some with his grandmother, who loved it too. He said it isn't too strong or bitter and after having this loose-leaf, he's never going back to teabags again!

★★★★★

I love everything jasmine, and this tea is no exception. I've been drinking this as my daily staple and it does not disappoint.

I suppose for the price, this was a great tea, but not up to the standard that I'm used to. Jasmine is, by far, my favorite tea, so most days that's the only kind that I have. It just didn't seem to have much flavor. This isn't a bad tea, I've just had better.

A good jasmine scented tea, the green tea base was a little stronger than that of the phoenix pearls, I think.

As others have pointed out, this tea is quite easy to overbrew. As long as you keep that in mind, it is very light and calming with a wonderful aroma. One of the better jasmine teas I've had.

★★★★☆

A less floral version of jasmine. Still packs a decent jasmine flavor, but is balanced with enough tannin to give that 'biscuity' quality. Also means you have to be careful about not letting the water get too hot or it bitters easily.

★★★★★

This is the best jasmine tea that I've ever had. The floral notes are not too overwhelming which was my main concern. It's a very light tea.

I've tried many jasmine teas from other companies, and this is the first one I've found that isn't overwhelmingly floral. In fact, I strongly suspect that my favorite boba tea shop uses this one as its jasmine base for their milk teas. It has a very particular scent, like sweet candy, possibly even gummi candy underneath. Nicely sweet, relaxing.. awesome tea! Can't wait to try Adagio's other jasmine varieties!

★★★★★

When I opened the sample bag I received, it smelled of fresh jasmine blooms and the smell alone proved to be calming.

The jasmine aroma is strong in this tea, as is the flavor of jasmine. I've read reviews that said the jasmine was too strong, but I find I can still taste the green base so for me it is not overwhelming. Maybe I just like floral teas :)

With a little simple syrup the flavors mellowed and I found myself sinking into the couch and relaxing. Perfect.

As with most of the jasmine teas ive tried, this is really good. Love the aroma and flavor of the jasmine.

★★★★★

Very strong and beautiful smell. The taste is smooth, light, and sweet enough on its own that sugar isn't necessary.

★★☆☆☆

The most recent order of $5 jasmine tea is definitely not anywhere near the quality of my past receipts. It has no jsmine scent and no jasmine flavor. Something has definitely gone wrong somewhere. I am sorely tempted to return this order. I don't know what happened since my last order, but it is not good.

This tea is pretty much perfect. It's pretty, it smells absolutely heavenly, it's fun to watch the leaves unfurl, and it tastes delicious.

★★★★★

A light and delicate jasmine that smells like a warm summer night.

★★★★☆

A little weaker jasmine flavor than the other jasmines I have tried from Adagio. Once you try the masters, it is difficult to go back.

★★★★☆

This tea is very sensitive, therefore it is easy to overbrew. So make sure to only bring the water to 180 and steep for a max of 4 minutes. Otherwise this tea is lovely and calming.

A solid jasmine tea. You just have to be careful not to overbrew. It easily gets too bitter quickly.

★★★☆☆

Not bad for the price, but I also wasn't crazy about the flavor. I have had better jasmine teas and I would prefer to have the phoenix pearls instead.

★★☆☆☆

Not too overpowering but for me was a bit bitter. Even after a short two minute brew. A touch of sweetner made it better but I didn't care for the toasty quality. It just wasn't for me. I like other jasmine teas over this.

This is great, but one needs to be careful of how long they keep the leaves in the cup before the taste turns bitter

★★★★★

I bought this for a friend because she's a big fan of jasmine tea - she loves it!

★★★★★

This is a lovely tea - delicate without being dull, with just the right amount of jasmine. As usual with green teas, oversteeping is unkind to it, but as long as you keep that in mind, you won't be disappointed.

This tea tastes great and is good for those moments you need something to accompany your meditation.

★★★★★

This tea smells great and makes a perfect golden cup.

★★★★★

This tea is AMAZING! Very light, subtle and the aroma is therapeutic. Not as full as jasmine pearls, but this is a cheap alternative. I love variety, and I'll alternate between gunpowder and this for cheap, delicious everyday tea.

I like this tea, but I prefer the way the rooibos tea goes with the jasmine flavor.

★★★★☆

Like the jasmine. Not quite as full as the pearls, but delicious and calming.

★★★★★

I've taken to calling this 'Magic Tea'. I'm not sure what it is--the floral scent, warm liquor, and toasty finish, I guess--but having this tea is really like drinking a cup of magic. An instant favorite.

This tea is very fragrant and a favorite of my 21 year old son!

An excellent staple jasmine green around my home. Perfect for every-day drinking.

★★★★★

A really great tea for the money, I drink it all the time.

My favorite jasmine, great tea, and a great price.

★★★★★

Wonderful flavor and great aroma that reminds me of my blooming night jasmine. Very relaxing.

★★★★☆

I love love love the scent of jasmine. Combined with a simple green tea, it really is just perfect.

★★★★★

Love it, Love it, Love it!!! The pearls are the best but I can't affort it for my frequent cup of tea. This is a GREAT alternative. Smells strong

★★★☆☆

This tea has a lovely scent. However, unlike the Jasmine Silver Needle, the scent is almost entirely what you get. This isn't bad by any means, but it's mostly just a beautifully perfumed tea with just a smidgeon of flavor.

★★★★★

Absolute staple. Wonderful jasmine flavor/scent, but be careful not to oversteep. I will be buying a bigger bag of this next time.

★★★★★

I am a true lover of jasmine teas. I do not always like green tea, but I love jasmine tea. It is a little sweet with a light flavor. I add some raw sugar to it.

★★★★★

It's like drinking a cup of flowers. But it gets bitter easily, if you don't watch the temperature

★★★☆☆

I found this tea okay, but a little weak and perfumy for my liking.

This tea is my personal favorite because it isn't too floral but you can taste the jasmine in it, i highly recommend this.

★★★★☆

I usually don't like any flavors added to my tea, but I'm OK with jasmine every now and then. This is one of the better jasmine teas I've had. It's good when you're looking for something different.

This is my go to for a Jasmine fix, although I think raise my standards and stick with the dragon

Jasmine scent and flavor is strong enough without being overpowering.

★★☆☆☆

I got this as a sample at the store. I learned that I don't like jasmine very much after drinking this tea. It's not horrible but the jasmine scent overpowers the green flavor that I love. You might think it's the best thing ever if you're into floral flavors/scents, which I'm not.

★★★★★

delicate flavor
with yellow sunshine body
stronger the better

★★★★☆

This is good but not outstanding green tea. The flowering jasmine tea is far more flavorful

★★★★★

My wife and I enjoy jasmine chun hao daily, we prepare it using the TriniTea on hot for three minutes. My wife prefers it prepared with crushed fresh ginger. The jasmine is well balanced with the flavor of the tea.
